Tonymic4life: You are not listening bro! It's not called corper! Rather corp member. Corper don't exist in any dictionary. That is if we were to judge correctly and not using pidgin. So both you and d op are wrong. The Op's own can even be found but not used in that context while yours is grammatically wrong!
You see nobody is perfect! Peace out Thank you. My thoughts exactly. People who refer to "corps members" as "coppers" have guts to correct the op. |

Bros, you obviously need correct eye glass, check the last line where his degrees were stated. So you think a man can become a professor without having PhD? Not only does he have PhD, he also has CIMA. That my friend is no easy feat.
You can actually be a prof without a PhD. Yes you can. |
Education › Re: Which University Is The Most Biased When Admitting Students by Bifrost: 10:05pm On Feb 17, 2018 |
hinohsend: I understand students from ELDSs have lower cutoff marks- though I think that should be stopped-.
But UNN also reduces cutoff for catchment areas, I believe that is bias, OAU, Unilag and majority of Nigerian Universities do the same, but I think UI and a few others do not. Cut off marks of Enugu, Anambra and Imo indigenes are among the Highest! In that order. Ebonyi and all Northern states are regarded as ELD areas. Although, like every public unis, there are staff quotas. |

Same boat here. I am using the freetime to finish my professional certification.
I wish we all could boycott the NYSC, it is pointless. I believe we need to create an awareness, so that the issue will trend like the SARS own, cause nobody seems to care at all.
If only we (all graduates from all tertiary institutions) could all unite and not register for this nonsense. Let's see who they'll mobilise. |

temidayodamoye: Lol...calm down bro, we still have till about May. I think the major thing is for your school to send names to NYSC and that doesn’t depend on NASU. Hopefully, the strike will end soon Sef. Pls don’t let us forget this batch yet There is truth in what IamFrank is saying. Nasu strike will prevent us from going with 2018 Batch A. Except this strike is called off. And there's no attempt by FG to even engage NASU with talks to call of the strike. |
Education › Re: Effect Of SSANU, NASU, NAAT Strike So Far In Your School. by Bifrost: 9:32pm On Feb 07, 2018 |
In UNN it's a different ball game, all admission lists have been released despite the strike, Matriculation date has even been fixed. The only problem is that graduates from the last convocation are yet to receive their certificate and statement of result (which is so unlike UNN) and NYSC is very close by. And not to forget Post graduate students whose transcript needs to be sent abroad to process their application for admission. |

AutoJoshNIG: To call people especially the security guard when going out There is a way some drivers have mastered the horn of their car, they even know how to use it to pronounce different names especially the names of their domestic staff. They can even form sentences like "Akpos, hurry up". In some countries, it is illegal to honk the horn of a stationary vehicle.

HigherEd: With the exception of UI though. UI intends to reach 70% of first and 2.1 in the next few years. If that's the case, UNN is worthy of mention. Their proportion of First and 2¹ graduates have been consistently high over the years. It's always very close to UI's (or more) every convocation. For instance, the last convocation saw 132 graduates with First class degrees, with a very high number of 2¹s. But the truth is 70% projection in the next few years is just wishful thinking. I may be wrong. |

This is a magnificent idea.
This continues to show and remind us how far Nigerian Universities have to go.
The truth is most lecturers (especially in Public varsities) are very subjective (and even sentimental) in marking. I have evidence to back my claims. We really need a complete overhaul in the sort of lecturers we bring into the system. I am very pained by this. |

Emperorempower: The terms auricle and atrium were used interchangeably to refer to the upper heart chamber in old literatures, thus leading to confusion.
To put it simply, atrium is the upper chamber of heart and auricle (also called atrial appendage) is the ear like conical muscular pouch that arise from each atrium.
At primary four you can't differentiate it for them, I learned that in ss2 and beside atrium is not reflected in primary four syllabus.
You can check textbooks for for that. Are you really an O'level holder? You speak of "literature" as though you are a research student at university. |

MrHistorian: Don't be a victim of illusion, there is NOTHING like MONEY RITUAL.
The closest explanation to their overnight and sudden wealth can be from the sale of human organs in neighbouring countries.
Also,Yahoo Boys who become wealthy from internet fraud are only being sold CONFIDENCE by their Voodoo Instructor because of their innate belief in charm.
For Example,After watching series of movies depicting Charm potency(of which is a sham) and listening to weird and unconfirmed stories about how potent charm is.Then,As an internet fraudster, you visit a voodoo shrine for more prosperity and you are been ordered to sleep in a graveyard for 3 days.
This will only build your CONFIDENCE as you will erroneously think you have been fortified thus making you able to bodly make more demands from your victims.
Simple,Charm is a HOAX. I admire your ignorance. But believe me, there are things beyond you. What you see and perceive with only your five senses aren't all that there is. In all, experience is the best teacher. |

Did LAWMA which was a very nice waste disposal system die with BRF?
For the past few months I've been in Lagos, I have not set my eyes on any of those trucks used in collecting waste in residential and commercial neighbourhoods. I believe that died with Fashola. Lagos has been it's dirtiest since this administration.
Remember these cart pushers not only serve as 'kayas', they also help dispose waste. |
