Lol ,the self importance of this guy is aplenty -he has security but billionaire Mark Zuckerberg didn't.

He looks more like an Indonesian mullah than a Nigerian-American.

When will Buhari come trek the many many potholed streets with water ponds ,the dark and unsafe streets of Lagos?

Thats the guy that really needs to trek here not this american.

If he was a Nigerian he'd be flashy with expensive clothes, have a collection of cars and a string of women.

I like that he's always a T-shirt kind of guy and very modest.

whogoesthere:
The issue of virginity till marriage is one that I've usually wondered about. I've noticed that nowadays it's very difficult for a lady to keep herself till she gets married as compared to back in the days.

I also noticed that some of these ladies are actually good, wife material but for one reason or the other they lost their virginity.

Is it that the modern society puts so much pressure on the girl child or what?? I don't just get it.
Blame the new maths introduced into our societies...New Maths is you +partner ,minus clothes and divide the legs.

Those slender legs of Buhari are fantastic for marathon running and future medal prospects. This trip is well worth it just for that.

Go train in Kenya well Buhari forget the damn african despots meetings.

Money is not an issue for me. I don't need to work. I am actually moving down from the U.S. I was thinking of moving down to Lagos but after I evaluated a lot of issues, I came up with staying in Benin which is close to home. If I ever have to do anything in Lagos, all it would take me would be a couple of hours by road.
Lol ,"money is not an issue for me" Wow ,I wish i had your kind of problem....too much money.

Well said mate.Buhari shows how we africans don't even value fellow african lives.

He also reminds me of how 5 african presidents went to Paris to march with other world leaders after Charlie Hebdo attacks but non could find time to go march with kenyans after al shabaab left 147 students dead in the same year or march with Nigerians after so many terror atrocities by Boko Haram.

If we don't value ourselves so how are outsiders gonna value Africans?

Tis the semi-illiterate northerners who put their clueless goat herder into office.

Running a Goat based economy is not like running a complicated international market economy with sophisticated economics -its not a place to put Buhari in charge.

Thats almost all African presidents with the exception of Paul Kagame- they just run for office to look important, meet powerful world leaders, ride fancy cars+aircraft and just feel important even though they really have nothing to offer.Being in office is all about ego and personal fulfilment with no tangible results to show.Buhari is doing exactly that.

Don't even try to compare Joburg with Nairobi, South Africa at large is competing with world class countries like the US, and Nairobi a capital competing with just Abuja and Joburg, Man Youv'e got a lot to learn about my country.  And if i start i won't even finish.
But South Africa is world famous for xenophobia ,vast slums ,rape epidemic and worrying levels of murders.

Is that what you call competing with the USA?

I do not create this thread to cause tribal E-War. It's simply a wish - my personal wish - for Lagos State!

The motive behind it is; creating a Lagos with no or less traffic hiccups with good standard Roads Network!
Lagos will not look like that even in 2070 -the widespread street hawking, mad drivers, corruption ,land grabbing ,lack of maintenance culture and our own African dislike of sticking to rules - all these conditions will conspire against this dream.

Remember Haiti and Liberia have been around far longer as black states for 200yrs than Nigeria and yet they've not achieved shit.
