PoliticsPHCN Workers Issue Threat On Handover Of Companies by bigass(op):
STAFF of the exiting Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN), under the aegis of National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) have threatened to protest if the Federal Government fails to complete settlement of severance package as agreed before concluding privatisation of the company.

The union also urged government and intending investors who have invested hugely in purchasing the PHCN properties to delay handover of the companies until workers claims are completely cleared.

The exiting PHCN workers’ union position was that the government has not met 75 per cent pension component of the exit workers, including several other benefits, such as regularisation of some casual workers already identified, biometrically captured and payment of exit benefits to the retired workers sacked in 2011.

The aggrieved union workers also expect the transfer of statutory 10 per cent equity shareholding to PHCN workers in the successor companies, payment of all outstanding staff claims, allowance and two per cent dues accruable to the union and shortfall terminal benefits.

A statement signed and read by the vice president, Gabriel Egbadekwu, Friday in Lagos, said less than 50 per cent of PHCN workers have so far received part of their exit benefits while others are faithlessly waiting.

It alleged that, the Minister of Power, Prof. Chinedu Nebo’s claim was false and was done to misinform the public, claiming that, the minister was been economical with the truth by openly claiming in most of the country national dailies that about 70 per cent PHCN exit staff were being completely settled.

Meanwhile, the union commended the workers commitments towards the struggles, saying that any move by the government to hand over the companies to the intended investors would be resisted by the whole exit workers.

seunfly: Yes!!! Lagos has to get rid of every thing that is dangerous to d society and disasterous to d enviroment. From ugly and lack of road worthiness cars and busess to unmantained and structuraly defect buildings. I believe all Nigerian cities should also follow the step to safe guard the lives of beautifull and inocent Nigerians as well as protect and beautify our enviroments.

FamilyWhat Can HE Do To Bed HIS Friend’s Wife? by bigass(op): 7:49pm On Sep 04, 2013
I am in love with my friend’s wife. Since the day my friend introduced me to his wife, I haven’t stopped dreaming about her. I met her a year ago when my friend invited my wife and I to his house to celebrate the 10th birthday of his first daughter.

Something moved deeply in me when she smiled at me. I couldn’t stop comparing her, as we all sat down discussing, with my wife, who looked like the fabled duckling beside her,

Twice, I have paid her visit when I know her husband isn’t in town, but beyond the courtesy of being my hostess, I could be dead for all she cares.

The last time she came to our office to see her husband I was in his office. She barely looked my way throughout after the first exchange of pleasantries.

From what my friend says about his wife, he is her world just like he appears to be. Unlike some of us, he doesn’t womanise even when he has a reason to come out for some drinks with the boys. He tells us that there is nothing he is lacking in his wife.

The pride he talks about her makes me more determined to have her. It is getting to a very dangerous dimension for me. I am even ready to do away with my wife to marry her.

At nights, I have wet dreams from dreaming and imagining what she would look like without cloths.

I am even avoiding my wife because of all the kinds of thoughts and dreams that now occupy my mind.

How do I go about this? I feel she is the woman for me. I want her so badly.
Wonders Shall never end o

Pukkah: You've only attempted to scare the OP without addressing his issues. Are you in possesison of God's Code of Punishment and Reward? Aren't you a mere mortal, who doesn't know what will happen the next minute, like the OP?

How do you know the person that God will curse or bless? Has God become a tool in your hand that can be deployed as you wish?

Religion has a way of suppressing questions and harbouring shock-absorbers with which it protects itself.

Religion remains Brainwashing Sponge Number 1.

Religion provides hiding places. You can commit all atrocities and get away with it and hide under 'touch not my annointed'.

You can commit heinous crimes and get people to say 'who has not sinned before should cast the first stone'

You can promise people miracles, collect money from them and fail to deliver and still hide under 'that's how God wants it'. There is no money back guarantee.

You can be a hardened criminal all your life and hope to change a few minutes before you die or sleep with your female church members in a London penthouse. If people criticize you, you can hide under 'thou shall not judge'

Isn't religion the best Brainwashing Tool known to man?

Is there a greater opium?

Religion is the opium of the poor. we are religious yet ungodly. the more the churches are springing up everywhere the more we are getting worse!
