dridowu: James Bond 007= Rev Odusina VPUp Jogs! my VP was Iya Risi |
Joavid: Oh,you know it? An advert on DSTV.Hahahahaha.....South Africa is a thousand times more developed than this your shit hole called Nigeria. naija just dey survive on past glory. Make una dey there dey deceive, toothless giant. Anyways, That Glo/MI advert na rubbish. |
This is sad, I was in Goa 2 months ago and they treated us like Kings. Some locals even pleaded to take pictures with us. We just dey F*up everywhere..... |
This country is a joke....the leaders are jokers.....the people sef no dey okay. Oduah , coscharis and all involved should be probed. That is what civilised societies do. |
Please guys, what has ASUU done to deserve all these un-intelligent comments. Ghana commits 31% of its budget to Education against Nigeria's 8.4% at par with statutory transfer while 20% is commited to security. Personally, ASUU is on point and i think everyone should join the move, all Government funded schools should join ASUU. There should be a model, either the govt agrees to a PP model or something but the standard of education and level of research must be stepped up. We can't attain our full potentials with our shallow thoughts and myopic visions. Have you checked what your governors take monthly as security votes? Have you checked how much each state spends monthly on maintaining government houses, facilities and their families? You guys should wake up and stop the man-eat-man .....face your leaders, they are the problem not ASUU |
dannysteve99@ya:The US isn't your enemy but your own very Government. |
habbey ojo: She is cursedIs martin Luther cursed? Is Ulrich Zwinghi cursed? Is King Henry VIII cursed? Is John Calvin cursed? These men stood for what they believed in and spoke openly against the annointed. Maybe we should read more about how the prostestant revolution started or anglicanism or calvinism.....I pray for such in the Nigerian setting...pastors have become gods and some people are too blind to see. I am not supporting Ese's claim but why are you guys burying her alive for speaking up against a pastor. Our problem in this part of the world is that we don't hold people accountable for their actions, no one is a saint but if you are unfortunate to be caught, don't manipulate people...face it, apologise and face the consequence(s). |
Abagworo: The write up makes me like him more. All those that looted and are still looting Nigeria dry should return the loots or be executed for good. Nigeria needs iron hand.you are indeed very shallow. Is corruption and looting the only big deal? |
Nice one! but what are we all doing about this recklessness....siddon look as usual...personally, I feel most Nigerians have the slave mentality, sometimes i think and cant figure the best way to deal with all these broad day light robbery. We have so much information at our disposal, even a fool on the street knows we are a wasteful nation. Public servants/officials have become bullies, blowing sirens and intimidating their employers. We can not continue like this, these guys are taking the future from us and the generations to come.....princes walking and servants on horse backs. Unfortunately that is our story ![]() |
adenitemi: I have an audio recording of that conversation. It still beats my understanding why Abiola was that cheerful!BBC And you are happy to go to the police and await whatever charges they are going to file against you? MKO: I am not in any way disturbed by it. Any sacrifice is in order. If it will bring democracy, peace and posterity to Nigeria... |
mr. Bayo, you are looking for my trouble,,,,I wont say more than that |
mr. Bayo, you are looking for my trouble,,,,I wont say more than that |
drnoel: Looks like u people here have eyes but don't see. Its only to insult people who honestly make comments all of u know how to do but to make ur own constructive comments slides many people non this forum.my thought exactly, I still dont get the 'Nigerian mentality'.....are we just fools, ignorant, blind or nonchalant. These guys are meddling with our future, we need to wake up. |
Abati's case is just pathetic, I read an article recently by the former Publisher/editor of the Razor (defunct) Mr. Moshood, he made startling revelations about Nigerian Jornalists and past leaders (dead and alive). Most of these jornalists are jokers and what they think about is their pockets (same with most Nigerians). You can imagine the respected Abati of The Guardian Newspaper now a dummy, a man without honour. |
whoever the moderator is, if you don't want clear views and sincere opinions abiout issues then its either you are compromised or Nairaland generally is compromised. |
i used to have 3 . had them for about 5 years....u should keep it in water sometimes, mined used to eat fish and meat....How can I get one? |

He was very responsible in uni too. I still find it hard to believe. Unfortunately, titi was my colleague too....calm and cheerful. Whatever happened between them is still a mystery. |
Pele o caren but it is sad how some people justify violence. No one deserves to be hit no matter what. Although the story doesn't really add up but the guy must be punished. A real man never hits a lady, totally unacceptable. |
Opening of the new Honorary Consulate of Finland in Lagos The Nordic country and one of the most competitive economies in the world, the Republic of Finland, has opened a Honorary Consulate in Lagos. The Honorary Consul of Finland is Dr. Kingsley Kolapo Akinroye who received his execuatur from the Honorable Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nigeria, Ambassador Olugbenga Ashiru already earlier this Autumn. The Honorary Consulate was opened by the Ambassador of Finland to Nigeria, Her Excellency Mrs Riitta Korpivaara, on November 19th 2012. The Reception, hosted by Her Excellency, to mark the occasion took place in the Radisson Blu Hotel on the Victoria Island in Lagos (upon invitation only). Dr. Kingsley Akinroye is a medical doctor and highly a respected specialist in his field, the cardiology. He has pursued medical studies and a research fellowship in Finland and notably acted as the Secretary General of the Finland-Nigeria Friendship Association for many years now. He has extensive contacts in the business-, cultural- and political spheres. The Honorary Consulate will be at the service of Finnish citizens, who could be in need of its consular services. The applications for Schengen-visas and residence permits by Nigerians will also in the future pass through the Embassy of Finland in Abuja. The primary focus of the Honorary Consulate will be on the promotion of trade and investments between the business-communities of Finland and the Lagos State. Finland eyes the Nigerian market and Lagos in particular as one of the most exciting emerging economies in the world. Finland already promotes business-ties through its Embassy and the Finland Trade Center, FINPRO; they are however located in Abuja, though the office of the Trade Center has a small presence also in Lagos. The Honorary Consulate will be a significant asset in these efforts. The Ambassador of Finland, Her Excellency Mrs Riitta Korpivaara, commented the opening of the Honorary Consulate: “Lagos has always been important to Finland. This is where the first Finnish Embassy on the African continent was established, in 1963. Today, this is where Finnish companies should be, and invest.” World-known Finnish companies include, among many others, the ICT-companies Nokia and Nokia-Siemens Networks, the top-class power-company Wärtsilä, the maker of elevators and other machinery Kone, the ports’ equipments manufacturers Konecranes and Cargotec, the biomass and pulp companies UPM and Stora Enso, mining-technology companies such as Metso Minerals and Outotec, the leading refining business Neste Oil, and still as an example of a high-technology company the Vaisala, the maker of meteorological measuring technology for the safety of aviation. In my opinion, It doesn't make sense and there's more to this. I know the chinese are doing alot in Africa, there's no free meal anywhere. In as much as exposure is good, its one thing to speak your mother tongue, it is another to read and write. How many Nigerians can write or read Hausa, Ibo, Yoruba, Ibibio, Efik etc & how many of us even remember the french we learnt in primary school? I know its optional but its alot of pressure all the same. |
