In my entire life, I don't think I have felt this depress as I am presently. Life hasn't been funny at the fact that I don't have physical job since I passed out in April this year. Over four months of been in my parent's house and all my online hustle has generated what I have been sustaining me and I have been to save a substantial amount of the revenue but the feeling living with my dad and stepmom is another thing to deal with. Top of the day to you all wherever you are reading this my story. I am just in an emotional situation now that i need a breather and what to do to ease me of this emotional pains am going through.
I got married 5 years ago and have 2 daughters to that. For almost 5 years of marriage, i have not had any reason to suspect my wife of cheating cause she has always prove to be a loyal and trustworthy person to me not until recently that i started noticing some things popping up. Our marriage has not been that rosy and perfect as we do have alots of arguments which i have tried my best to make her happy in my capabilities. I fund the house finances and barely get any tangible financial support from her but that doesn't really bother me so far am still capable of meeting those bills.
It happened when i noticed that my wife started using password on her phone and she react negatively whenever i want to access her phone. Though she doesn't pick up my phone cos its also has password but i can never deny my wife access to my phone whenever she wants to make use of it. Anytime i want to access her phone, she says she cant allow me cos i dont allow her aswell which is not true. I only password my phone cos of security purpose. The last time i used her phone, i noticed she deleted a particular chat with a guy. It was the guy replying chat that made me knew she deleted the conversation and the way the guy was addressing her made me so uncomfortable. He was using my love and all sort of romantic words to my wife, i saw it and confronted her about it that i dont like it but she said he is just a friend that she knew way back before she got married. I noticed the guy just left the country to an arab country and my wife told me that its strictly business of exporting food stuff to him thats between then.
Fortunately, i picked up her phone last night and what i saw was so devastating, i noticed she was still chatting with the guy and also exchanging love words together. My wife told the guy that she loves him and also miss him so much. This was just a little out of their conversation. I was so mad and screenshot those chat and send to my self for evidence cos she can deny anything deniable. I sent those shots to out church pastor, her dad, her mom and also all her siblings to know what their daughter was doing under my roof. Her dad has been apologizing that i should forgive her but seriously am so hurt emotionally right now and just felt like leaving the marriage cos to trust her henceforth will be difficult.
Pls what advice can you give i do and also did i over reacted by sending those screenshot out to her family and pastor. I need to know cos am confused. Pls pardon my english and typo errors.

You both need to visit your pastor or a marriage consular... they need to iron out the real issue here... when a husband or wife decide to start having affairs.. there is always a genesis issue that is involved... talk to someone... let her tell you what you hav done wrong to deserve the treatment... from their u guys can work something out...

Hello guys~ my best friend and I live together in the same neighborhood. I introduce him to were I was working at the moment because he was seriously in need of a job... Though! He had a job he was doing but the money they are paying him is just token, so when he came for an interview today. He passed the prescription test that was given to him, and he was made the assistant Boss and I have been working there for long without been given dis offer. Being his first time of working with us he has started giving out policy in which I don't like, he's trying to change the system for us making it unbearable for us to cope. And
to crown it all, his salary his x2 higher than mine and we both have same qualification, so am thinking of going to my Boss to lunch complain maybe to ask him to renew my contract.
What do you all think about my step.... Should I still go on with it?

I noticed that most Nigerians feel so much achievement upon having a family member outside the country. I have seen Nigerians proudly declare the following (just an example tough) :

1. My uncle in Canada

2. My Aunty in UK

3. My Brother in the US

4. My son in Germany

5. My cousin in South Africa

6. My husband is in the United Arab Emirates

7. My daughter in Italy

8. My brother in Malaysia

9. My nephew in India

10. My brother sister uncle daughter son in Kuwait
Etc.
I observe a pride in each of these people, and I realized that it doesn't even matter which country the family resides in, for the homers, they always feel like they won a noble prize by having a family abroad.
Some of these people have families in Indonesia, Malaysia, Israel, Libya, Kuwait, Honduras, Greece etc. And they puff with pride as if it's a life worth achievement.
Others have families in the US, UK, Germany, Canada, France, South Africa, Australia etc, which is still note worthy.

But the Question is; why do most Nigerians count having a family abroad as a big achievement, and even make mockery of their fellow Nigerians who do not have a family member abroad. Or those who refuse to mention that they have families abroad?

Is it a Nigerian thing to behave like that, or is it a global thing, do other countries nationals behave like that?

Yea I think it's normal to boost you have people in western country... Nigeria is more of a shiit hole country.. so having people abroad that can help u finicial is an achievement or having close relative abroad that can easily send you documents to join them abroad is an achievement... so let them enjoy it bro
