I don't think Trent will improve at defense anytime soon ..the guy is developing is skills and career right now as an overlapping wingback...the large number of assists is making him improve his abilities upfront...if you remember... England manager once told the press he may likely convert Trent permanently at mildfielder...which he did on a friendly game last time....
Kloop is also working on the conversion...but waiting to sign a proper right back first...so I don't see him improving at defense...

Good idea but the problem is, your coach doesn't like it. He hates the formation. And the ironic thing is now that we have midfielders injured, the formation will really help us and protect van Dijk as he isn't fit. Vvd is costing us some matches. Having a backline in rotation of Vvd, Matip, Gomez with Nat and Konate will help us real well and a Midfield of Robbo, Trent, Henderson, Thiago with Jota, mane and salah in the front, any of them dropping in Midfield specifically Jota to play as a 10 will help. But Klopp is too stubborn.

I think it's a good idea...we should consider that formation pending when Vandijk will get back to proper fitness...we are conceding heavily and it's going to cost us the league...Trent on the other hand is now starting to act like Moreno who was very sloppy at the back but sharp upfront...his position has been slacking and it's costing the team....

If we can set the formation this way...it will be a good idea
