Jennyclay:
Sorry! I don’t eat fufu undecided. Especially southwest fufu. Southwest fufu has this offensive odour that can make me throw-up embarassed

And if I must try it, I think I will prefer to eat fufu from the south-south (calabar or Edo). Their fufu are neatly prepared and doesn’t smell.
But fufu from South south specially akwa ibom are very strong like sedimentary rock... not kidding

saasala:
Not so so well but I'm okay, and my business is moving at a good pace. I make enough to maintain my family, eat well, ride a decent car, live in a decent apartment and a little leftover. I'm very much okay with that. I'd rather remain here than go to a strange land where I will be homesick, miss my friends and family and face racism or do jobs that I will never do in Naija.

And yes, UK is facing economical downtime. Its so hard to get a decent job. Prices of goods and service, including cosumable are so high. You can barely make enough to cover for house rent. There are chances that you might become homeless.
I'm really glad you doing good for urself and your family... I just hope the inflation and economic crisis comes down some you can gain more profits from your buisness...

Mehn never knew.. the UK are facing some real deal over dere until I saw the recession... I just hope they can manage the suitation and stay strong, we Nigerians are fighter! I'm sure they will be fine

The United Kingdom has been hovering around depression for quite a while. Everyone I know in UK is complaining seriously.

For japarians, it is not a choice destination presently.

Canada, USA and Australia are better.

But for me, I will remain here. Naija dey okay for me.
You must be doing so well to remain in Nigeria

Is the economical suitation so bad in the UK?

All the countries around us in west Africa their currency are not running away. So why is the Naira fallen every single day despite all CBN has done to stop it.

There is a deliberate attack on d Naira to bring down d government.
I believe its a deliberate attack... as worse as the formal government was....as emefele tiff reach.. the naira/exchange rates wasn't that bad...

This dude came in, in less Dan a month and he wiped off Average Nigerians from the surface of the earth...

Now is either Rich, or poor
Politics › Re: Sowore: The Revolution They Are Running From Is About To Happen by BigDawsNet: 9:13am On Feb 15, 2024
okongo:
I laugh when people use revolution lightly. Which modern state has revolution helped Cuba, Tunisia, Egypt, venezuala, Syria or. What is the plan after revolution. It ia better to maintain constitutional order than throw Nigeria into a state of anarchy we will all eventually suffer for. The same set of people will come back and take over after all called revolution. Let us carry out the revolution through the ballot.
You are right... I used to say.. you need lots of votes to be able to rig elections.... without the population.. you likely to waste money for rigging...

If this 3 tribes can unite, and chase out apc coming 2024... den everyone can taste how d new party and government will feels like...

If the new party mess-up, chase them out again after 4years...

I'm sure if this cycle continues... no one will jeopardize dia political party if they giving chance to govern

Gajagojo:
How old are you?
We're you around when Westerhhof was here
That is when we got to 6 in FIFA rankings
Again do you recall when Keshi won AFCON?
Again do you recall when Egypt was dominating AFCON defeating countries fielding European based players

Your statement is not logical
So when England or Germany or Spain field home based it is okay? They don't need your so called international football experience? It is only Africans that need it?

That is just inferiority complex speaking
If a player is good he is good

Okocha and Kanu were not made by any So called international experience. They were made in Nigeria

This Nations cup that just ended many of the teams were at the same level . There was no one team that stood out above all the others.
There are many countries with more money in their league than ours e.g Turkey ,Belgium,Greece, are their national team s that great or superior to ours.
It is that football learnt before the age of 14 in the trenches in Naija that is the core
Dude 1900 is different 2024... the game style then is completely different from the recent one right now...

Keshi and Okocha + Kanu is way different kinda of play than iwobi, Simon moses or chukweze...

The comparison is absolutely different...

England, Spain Italy game style are different from African especially Nigerian league games...

Oya goan bring Norwich and Leeds United in championship to play lobi star and remo... tell me if the Nigerian local gaint team will see draw...

Does that mean the Lobi stars players are not good? They are definitely good but African games are definitely nothing close to the foreign game style..

We need lots of foreign based and some home based to do well...

Southafrica are team that focuses on home based for decades... where are they in fifa world ranking? Hun?
Sports › Re: AFCON 2023: Should Jose Peseiro Stay As Super Eagles Boss After Final Loss? by BigDawsNet: 4:12pm On Feb 13, 2024
Gajagojo:
Some few?

Why must they be few?

Is it based on quota system or merit?
Let me tell you a simple fact

Osimhen was made in Nigeria and would not be any worse if he never played in Europe for one day.
The same is true for Nwankwo Kanu

There is a reason why Westerhoff was so successful
He lived in Nigeria and understood our league
Almost all the Europe based players he used ,he was instrumental to them moving abroad AFTER he arrived
By the time. A player Is 16 he has acquired his core skills.
Iwobi does not think like a Nigerian midfielder because he is not made in Nigeria like his uncle.
We can't field large numbers of home based player
.. there is what we call international football experience...

We are not going to be playing Afcon everyday... world cup is dere... you can't play world cup with African game mentality... you won't like the result...

We need 70% foreign based player
30 % home based player

Yes he deserves it!

But on few conditions...

1. Invite and drop Iwobi to bench
2. Don't Invite chukweze again
3. Remove Uzoho completely
4. Start scouting some few home based players
5. Organise more international friendly
6. Scout for more attacking midfielders
7. Try and secure international player like Maduake, Chukwameka, Michael Olise, Solanke

The solution is to unite and vote someone who is ready to work. Tinubu has failed.

Come 2027, if Nigerians don't vote him out, survival would become a luxury in this country.

We don't want that now... just let them keep using the social media to make money and catch cruise... that will keep them busy... till the government fund a solution

Remember we export steady electricity to 4 neighbouring countries and we the exporter can't boost of 3hrs power per day

So it's possible we can be the largest food exporters and Nigerians may still suffer famine
