@Sauron: I've been following your posts for a while now particularly as it relates to M.UTD.Firstly it's nice 2 c that u av toned down on your insults!!I was pleasantly surprised to see that!Long may it continue. You lose to Bayern, but u selectively give accolades to some Bayern players?!How u can question VB contribution last night is beyond me and I guess most neutrals.Olic missed a sitter early in the second half, but he is getting all the high ratings because he scored?!how about the fact that BM goals were "fluke"??Rooney's goal came from Demechelis slip,I bet u did not see that?!!
And then you go on about Barca and Messi; they can't beat M.utd over 2 legshuhThe last I checked big game players rise to the occasion.it thus appear that in your book, that equates to any 2-legged affair except the finals of Europe's biggest competition for clubs!!
By the way I'm an Arsenal supporter with a soft spot for Barca because I think they play football the way it should be played!!I respect M.utd cos i beliv they're arguably one of the most effective sides in Europe!
Lastly I'm strongly of the opinion that fans can be a passionate about their club and be objective.I doubt they are mutually objective!!

2.25 – The Gunners’ average goals per game in Europe this season. More than any other side - including Barcelona, who have notched up only a measly average of 1.5 goals per game.

18 – The number of goals scored by Arsenal in the Champions League so far this season. They are the tournament’s joint top scorers

5 – The number of assists by Andrey Arshavin in this year’s Champions League – more than by any other player in the tournament.

67 – The number of shots on target by the Gunners. That's more than any other Champions League club; Barcelona are third with 59.

Wenger: Messi is from another planet!

ARSENE Wenger knows Arsenal face a monumental task trying to stop Barcelona superstar Leo Messi.

And he freely admits: "He is on another planet."

The Argentinian World Player of the Year, 22, poses a monstrous threat to the Gunners' Champions League dream.

European Champions Barca come to the Emirates today with Messi in explosive form ahead of the quarter-final.

And Wenger readily reveals he is in awe of the Argentina genius.

He said: "You go to football to watch players like Messi. What he does is so beautiful it becomes art. What he does at his age, has never been seen before. To take the ball in the middle of the pitch and go score goals like he was in the school playground, it is just incredible.

"I was thinking a couple of years ago he couldn't go any higher but I am conscious that today, he's on another planet."

Messi was crowned European and World Player of the Year after leading Barcelona to an historic Treble last year.

He banged in 38 goals, including the clincher in the 2-0 Champions League final triumph over holders Manchester United in Rome.

This year he is again favourite to retain the World Player of the Year title - with United's Wayne Rooney his main rival.

Messi already has 32 goals this term, including back-to-back La Liga hat-tricks and a Champions League brace against Stuttgart in recent weeks.

And he fired the winner in the final of the Club World Championship against Estudiantes.

@ big small father,

there you go comparing UEFA with EPL now! Who is the olodo here?

In football, expect the unexpected sometimes!

NB.
There is no known defender that held back opponents 100% of the time.
Sometimes they get dribbled, it's the number of times they lose balls that makes the difference.
Even the great Maldini lost balls and got dribbled.
Clichy (now fully recuperated) and Vermalaen (one of the best full backs in the EPL (and Europe too!) with over 7 goals to his credit this term) have done well and will continue to do well. Gallas and Sagna/Eboue too!
Na Puyol (wen be like native doctor) and Pique wan hold Arshavin, Nasri, Fabregas, Walcott and Bendtner?

Till tomorrow jare!
SULE !!!! I comented based on your previous arguement . Check the pics above, barca busy dey train, see small boys as dem dey play with sand. What do you call this ? Una wan win true true !

Culled from big small father:
A rematch of the final of 2006 has been dubbed as Barcelona versus Barcelona lite. Both sides love to keep the ball, so something has to give in the opener at the Emirates.

Below are five reasons why the Blaugrana should nick it. Just,

1) Target Sol Campbell

Leo Messi had just celebrated his 11th birthday and was watching the TV when Sol Campbell nodded in his controversial disallowed goal against Argentina in World Cup 1998. While the former England defender's renaissance has been lauded as 'unbelievable' by Arsene Wenger he is a potential weak link in the Gunners defence having made crucial mistakes against Porto in the Champions League and Stoke City in the FA Cup. Expect Pep Guardiola to deploy Messi in Campbell's vicinity and the little genius to wreak havoc.
What happens if Gallas plays? Did you see the post right before yours?

2) Zlatan's Revenge

For most of the big Swede's European career he has been labelled a big game
bottler. He was widely ridiculed, particularly by the English media, for going
AWOL in Inter's defeat against Manchester United last year. While it has been
suggested his Scandinavian compatriot Nicklas Bendtner is the more effective
player - yeah right - Ibrahimovic has scored in his last three games for Barca and was bought specifically for games like this one when a more direct approach may be required against a slick passing outfit like Arsenal.
Is this not just a mere hypothesis? Several instances where this never worked!!! Inter/Chelsea, where was Didier Drogba?

3) Win The Midfield Battle

Few sides can compete with Barcelona for possession, but the Gunners are one of them. The two sides rank first and second in the ball-hogging stakes with Arsenal having an average of 35 minutes per game to Barcelona's incredible 48 minutes. Beautiful they may be, but the holders are more than capable of dishing it out and will have been fully briefed on Arsenal's struggles against physically imposing sides like Everton and Chelsea. Midfield enforcers Yaya Toure and Seydou Kieta will carry out the task with relish, forcing Cesc Fabregas - if fit - to curb his natural attacking instincts in order to keep a close eye on his old youth team-mate Messi.
What happened to the irrepressible Alex Song? Did he skip your mind?

4) Keep Andrey Arshavin Quiet

Eyebrows were raised when Arsene Wenger splashed the cash to bring in the
Russian a year ago but he has repaid that faith by providing the most assists in an Arsenal side who have also had the greatest number of shots on target in the competition. Both Samir Nasri and Arshavin like to cut inside so if Barcelona outnumber Arsenal in midfield it will stifle their creativity, forcing them to rely on Nicklas Bendtner to deliver the goods. Stop Arshavin and there's a fairly good chance you stop Arsenal too.
If wishes were horses >>> and no one will stop Messi?

5) Give The Ball To Leo Messi

It sounds obvious, but given his incredible recent form where he is producing miracles almost every game the Argentinian maestro is making even the best of opponents look silly. At his greatest, he is completely unplayable and lest we forget he reserves his finest form for the big occasions, such as last year's Champions League final.
What about Vermalaen/Clichy? Will they just watch Messi doing his shooting practice on Almunia?

Well, I no blame you na the place you copy your post from I blame. Olodo! grin

Your other post:
See wetin i talk ? That content wey dey ya brain , na sugarless ZOBO ! Lol, Now I see you can't even comprehend simple analogies!

This na Uefa we dey talk o ! So what if na UEFA! Aren't there always more English teams from the Q/Final stage? Doesn't that tell you they are the best league in the world? Why you go dey use the track record of EPL dey comphere UEFA ? Why not! Haba, my 1yr old pikin nor fit do that kain comparison . No allow that boy inherit your olodo brain from you o! Oya lie down make i drive CATERPILLAR on top ya head. you dey work for wazobia fm? na dem dey pour people water o!
Just having fun o! What I simply meant that at certain times, seeded teams fall prey to non-seeded teams.
Football no be history or Mathematics. Let's fold our hands and watch good football tomorrow!
I still can't stop laughing at your quoted analysis. Who are these kids Vermalaen/Clichy to hold down Messi ? Where were they when Drogba went pass them during EPL ? Abi their mama send them go market that time ? Can't wait for 2morow.

For some time now men have been seriously accused of beating their wife. Ask me and I will tell you it is irresponsible for any man to beat her wife or girlfriend (either of the two). But then there are some other ways we can do this without actually touching or hitting them physically. Don't ask whether it is by denying them of cash - absolutely No! In fact any man than cannot sustain his wife and children is lazy and not worthy to be called a man.
Meanwhile this is applicable for everybody. When you have problem with your wife or girlfriend:
1. If she refuses to cook for you show her that you too can do can do equally do the cooking ( this is note for everybody as not every guys know how to cook) or you can buy already cooked food outside, bring it home and eat in front of her. While doing this you can put on some love song which will irritate her and make her to feel jealous.
2. You can also visit the Mr. Big, Citi chef or any tantalizer with your children without your wife.

3. If you have sexy body with hairy chest or smooth body this can be of an advantage (Pls don't ask me if guys are sexy - swagger).
4. Play with your children or you can go for site-seeing (with your children only).
5. When together pretend as if you are chatting with your female colleagues (I don’t mean concubine) in a manner that reminds her of the good times. Pretend as if she is not their even when you know she their.
6. When you discover she is remorseful may be you can forgive her (with a smile). Don't forget its part of the game

Celebrities like Muma Gee, Funke, Chioma, Princess and even Emeka Ike really dissapointed me ytnight. Just like Abbas said that most of them are quite different from the way we view them outside.

They have to cool down a bit and note that some youngsters are looking up to them.

Imagine Emeka (maybe jokingly but he meant it) said he wanted to sleep beside Muma Gee, I mean where the ladies are suppose to sleep. Anyway, Chioma, Princess and Funke showed both of them (Muma and Emeka) that that is not proper by shouting and arguing all their lives out grin grin grin grin Celebrities madness,

But believe me, I like the cool of Dare & Weird MC, infact Abass and Daddy Showkey surprised me, I think they are both cool cos I expect them to show their level of Jungle or rasz behaviour.

When the girls were all arguing, Weird MC was just outside saying, "poo meeeennn, etc" I LMAO. grin grin grin

Anyway, the game has just started and I expect more behaviours to be exposed. The real celebrities shall be made known, unless they are still acting to make believe.
But guys don't you think that this could be some kind of script acting behind this ?

Hi all, someone shared this with me and I felt its worth sharing too.

A Man fasted and prayed for 40 days, asking God wealth and Riches, a day after the prayer he saw a Bag containing Millions of money forgotten in a Cab he took ''waho! this is how God answered my prayer'' 3 Months later, he was arrested and with all evidences tabled, he could not deny it.

Eventually, He was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment. Alone in the prison he cried "God why ho! why!" instantly a gentle Voice interrupted him "Because you were unrighteous, you asked me Riches and I asked you Righteousness; the only requirement for your many demands, if you had righteously Handed-over the money, you would have become a HOT CAKE for many Organizations for your Honesty and Righteousness"

*If we think God Robs Peter to pay Paul then we think God is unrighteous who Himself wants our Righteousness.

*And in our attempts to be Spotless we should not be ignorant of the Devices of the Devil who is provoked to fight back at us with Temptations.

MAY GOD HELP US.
