Politics › Re: Fuel Scarcity Hits Ogun, Lagos, Adamawa Borders, Petrol Sells For N600 Per Litre by bigfish3k: 1:40pm On Nov 12, 2019
Kanade21:
Well, here is the explanation

At the time , in 2016, fuel was selling at N87 per liter., meanwhile it cost N132 to import that one liter of fuel.
Also in 2016, as oil prices were now at $30 per barrel, the revenue for paying for subsidy was also very low.

So, government raised the price to N145, thus ending the subsidy..for then...till import costs shot up to N150, then 200 per liter today.
What government does now, is have NNPC import fuel at N200, sell at N137 to depot..and pays NNPC part of the difference, while NNPC makes up the rest.

And that is why fuel is at N145 per liter.

As for why we cannot improve refining capacity

1.Danogte is building a refinery...as are two other guys.

2.Most people don't want to build refineries because the cost of refining one liter of fuel here in Nigeria is more than N145. (Even Dangote is looking to exporting to make up any loss from selling fuel at home).

NOTE

GEJ did something similar...in 2011...raising fuel from N65 to N140, with a landing cost of N99 per liter before protests caused him to knock it down to N97 and then to N87...while landing costs kept on rising.
from ur write up
low crude price didnt favour us
high crude price didnt favour us...

what is the way out or are we going to continue economic rigmarole

As stated elsewhere....remove fuel subsidy, allow marketers to set the price, and watch as all this smuggling ceases.

Because fuel costs
N386 in Cameroon.
N328 IN Benin
N350 in Niger
So, why won't a smuggler buy fuel at N137 from depot and smuggle it across the broder...

If subsidy goes, the smuggling would go too.
how many times will they remove subsidy?
if not , what was the reason given for the increase from N87 to N145

Oponu ni bobi yi sha.cheesy

Let me simplify it for you

Activity 1 :You claimed you have seen "video" evidence that all the women caught so far are indeed Yorubas.

Activity 2: I asked you to provide evidence

Activity 3: You provided three links that led to one source without showing any videos as you claimed.

Activity 4: You started to write mumbo jumbo that does not correlate with our previous discussion.

Please provide me a link where I can actually watch the video you claimed you watched

Simple as Abc

Simple enough for you grin
tribalism is not good
support humanity not tribe

there is hunger everywhere

How?

You can tell by pictures

Aren't Yoruba women" dark and ugly again". cheesy based on your well defined twisted narrative. The second woman is obviously light skin

Again no tribal marks !

Politics › Re: Buhari Has No Third Term Agenda, Fani-kayode Contradicts Falana by bigfish3k: 6:54pm On Nov 10, 2019
Sirjamo:
Both third term and northern agenda ( if any) will crumble like a pack of cards.
I don't have any regret with kicking out Jonathan/PDP and bringing in Buhari/APC, it was the right thing to do at the time. Nigeria was bleeding badly from the multiple stab wounds inflicted on it by the PDP and Buhari was/is the right person to stop it from bleeding to death.

When Buhari finishes, its will be the turn of the south (South west specifically), to continue from where he would stop.If any northern cabal try to play smart, then, the APC should be ready to kiss the Aso Rock good bye for the next 300 years!!!!
the northern agenda can only materialize if the SW contests in 2023

The rate of improvements might be low but we are still passing a message to them that if you don't perform we wont for you next tine
its part of the freedom igbos are fighting for, most of these people are not popular
when a governor has abuja connection he can win elections with few local support

just support igbos to be free

Because of their political irrelevant... Igbo's should have asked their governors, senators, house of reps members what they are doing with the resources in their capacity.. Same as other region though only that they have it a little bit better than Igbo
am talking about freedom here not resources

btw, have u forgotten that u people will attack us if we try to deal with our leaders, so stop telling us to ask our leaders anything- ekweremadu as a case study

it will happen when everyone see what the north is up to
i wish for a restructured country instead but if not then disintegration because we can never , i repeat never grow like this. the world will always leave us behind
janjaban that was shouting restructuring is now mute now that he has influence
most of my SW friends including the educated ones dont want disintegration, they also dont want hausas to continue ruling, they are indifferent to restructuring, they dont want nigeria to remain like this, they dont want igbos to rule, they dont want regional govt. they are just confused
the one i interacted with recently simply told me the truth that they dont want disintegration because they dont have oil
its a tough situation.
i just wish nigeria the best

dont worry, if thats the case we will do it with the north the same way u people did in 2015

Don't look like a fool simply because you want to support an idiot.
zombie - why must the rice be dirty in the first place, are we supposed to have stony rice in the market? i ate one recently i had to go outside so i can be disposing the stones easily, i couldnt continue with the food , i had to stop angrily
instead of u to call govt and its agencies to be alive to their responsibilities u are here attacking the messenger

dont point any good local rice rice to me, or who are u people reserving the stony ones for, is it not the same nigerians that will eat it
dont we deserve good things?
