It is because of people like you and comments like yours that make people like the op go all out to prove these points that seem like justifying the incidents.

Just like you feel TRUE Christians cannot do this except the fanatics among them, that is how TRUE Muslims too won't condone or partake in such inhumanity.

The bottom line is that, the Creed's are perfect in their own right but the followers are not hence things like these come up.

So next time, when a post like this comes up indicting people of other faith than yours, don't rush to condemn their faith but rather the individuals. That way, if people of your faith commit such crimes, nobody will attack your faith rather, they will attack the perpetrators only.

Kapish
the difference between the two religion is that wickedness against infidels are enshrined in urs thats why people relate any wicked act by ur followers to ur doctrines and sees such perpetrators as ur true adherents
in our own case they are not following our doctrines because Jesus didnt teach such and cannot be said to be our adherents
HOPE U NOW KNOW THE DIFFERENCE - KAPISH

why wouldnt there be service cut with the kind of harassments these telecom companies face in the hands of communities hosting their masts - it is unbearable
. if u want to refuel ur gen - they will ask u to pay and even demand for 50 to 100litres of diesel
. if u want to service the gen or mast - u will pay
. if u want to do inspection - u will pay
. if u want to cut the grass at the site - u will pay
. if u want to install anything - u will pay
. anything that makes u open the gate housing the mast u will pay

aside all these there still exist heavy robbery of their generators, cables and equipments which they have to be replacing from time to time even though it was the community that nominated the "mostly two security guards at such sites" in the name of community empowerment

govt just need to do something about the plights of telecom companies because all these costs they are incuring are being passed down to the consumers thats why its not easy comparing how calls are made at low rates in europe to what is obtained here

MY TAKE IS THAT - LET COMMUNITIES STOP ROBBING AND HARASSING TELECOM COMPANIES FOR BETTER DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY

The protest was about the hike from 65 to 145:and what exactly ar yu praising Jonathan for?

What yu dont understand about Jonathan is that he was a president who doesnt care about loot, protest or welfare of the citizen

Over 20 billions looted by Dizani and more than 30 billion by Patient Jonathan even Asari Dokubo testify how got free money from Jonathan govt

Jonathan was busy pumping money to SE nd SS why SW were merginalized nd u expect us to show him love ?

Yu people ar free to cry to hell

Jonathan the govt of free looters for the SS/SE now no more free looting money nd yu can cry till enternity
how was SW marginalized? i thought they had eight years to themselves before jonathan. why are u people so greedy
jona didnt even do anything for the igbos which u people are using to mock us till date, oya tell me what he did for the igbos that he didnt do for u people despite having left power prior to him taking over. jonathan and yardua just succeeded a SW man

I blame the Yorubas on this thread for not understanding the average IPOBian and Buhari hater, they hate anything Buhari, Nigeria, Yoruba, Hausa, APC, Tinubu etc.

If you all can remember some days ago when a picture of Sowore and Kanu shaking hands flooded social media including nairaland, they praised him.

Later Sowore talked about his #revolution now, they were happy that it would bring about the splitting of the country and bring about Biafra.

Sowore was arrested and they were happy too that it would bring about the splitting of the country and condemned Buhari.

They eventually made a U-turn when they felt the protest of Sowore might be nationwide and may outshine that of Kanu, that was when the insults on Sowore and the Yorubas began.

Hard working and peace loving Igbos, Yorubas, Hausas and other Nigerians shouldn't be in any way moved by their antics, we know better.

but with restructuring u can build ur int'l airports, sea ports, create more states and LGA's as ur demands require. u can create ur own wealth with ur available resources, u can have ur own regional NEPA and manage it etc.
u can create ur own academic standards without anybody restricting u with quota system. u can develop according to the wealth at ur backyard

just allow us do regionalisation so that we can hold them responsible for commissioning incinerator, street light and kerosene sharing
we cant hold them until we restructure into a federation and stop this unitary bullshit

u cant hold them now because the FG will come against u as they did to the ogoni 9 that tried to hold their people responsible

just support restructure and all other things shall be added - we can then come back and count scores

stop this propaganda, first Aguiyi Ironsi did not propose it rather it was a decree which took effect immediately because he was the military head of state from 16 of January 1966 until 19 of July same year. Then he was assassinated by the Northern military led by Major Theophilus Danjuma, the Northern military seized power and since then maintained it, Ojukwu came in with Aburi accord instead of just to reverse the decree made by Ironsi and everyone control their destiny and resources but the North knowing fully well the greedines of the Igbos and how they killed their leaders such as Tafawa Balewa Never trusted Ojukwu so they maintained the Unitary system introduced by igbo Aguiyi Ironsi, even the 1999 constitution was written by Abdusallam and his Hausa fulanis brothers which only benefits them so it all that had happened, I just cant imagine why you Igbos will keep shouting Yoruba when you are the architect of the problem and misfortune in Nigeria.
Ironsi still left the regions to exist - true or false?
the implementation started with state creation that killed the regions

how can ojukwu abrogate the decree - was he the head of state?
aburi accord means every body on their own - how does north not trusting ojukwu affect any body since every body will be on their own

just admit that ur people bleeped up in the case of not supporting aburi accord as a remedy - all these clamour and activism wouldnt have been necessary
if the yorubas had not supported the north there is no way they would have flourished with the impunity and sufferings going on today

Unitary proposal implemented by Yorubas huhI can see that you are very sick and want to keep living in denial of history and facts. You are so sick and has forgotten how you and your father's generation tag Awolowo as a tribalist all because the great man recognizes the fact that we are not one. Now you are typing rubbish that Yoruba proposed and implemented Unitary system undecided. AZIKWE and AGUIYI IRONSI greed led to the problem we face, because the North outsmart you Igbos, Ojukwu came in to try to fix it, so I do not understand where Yorubas implemented Unitary system that you Igbo introduced all because of greed and envy. Bleep of my mention if you do not have any reasonable argument to make instead of propaganda and distortion of history and facts.
i wouldnt reduce to ur level of abusing me - lets restrict only to facts and truths- show love to ur God by saying the truth always

ironsi proposed unitary - yoruba and north implemented it joyfully and u called it outsmart and later turn around to blame igbos - HABA
ojukwu proposed a solution in aburi accord - u joined forces and destroyed it - today nigeria remains a shithole under the rulership of yoruba and the north for over 50yrs- u still turn around to blame igbos - HABA
today every body is suffering it and we all now long for the same aburi accord that u helped destroy - since its now that u have have sense, lets all join hands to achieve it instead of all these abuses so that our children will not suffer this same fate of a shithole country

and again i never said that yorubas proposed the unitary system, i said they happily and joyfully implemented it with the north which has led to this shithole nature of nigeria
but again , if they didnt support it why implement it
between IMPLEMENTERS and PROPOSERS - who is more guilty?

Which your stupid people, Aburi accord was between Ojukwu and Gowon the Yoruba that were there, Mobola Johnson and Adebanjo had no meaningful contribution to it. And even as at that, it was the Igbo and Hausa fulani that destroyed the Meeting they held. Your foolishness made mention of accord but does not want to blame your greedy fathers for destroying the the constitution we had that gave each region self rule where it region controls it resources, policing, Educational systems, taxes etc. Instead of negotiating aburi accord, why can't we just go back to the one we had, the stupid 1999 constitution that we are using now was created by the Hausa fulanis to sort them, I just know it's a matter of time that everywhere will go up in flames if we don't go back to regional system or perhaps break up this shithole created by Igbos and Hausa fulani
yorubas made no meaningful contributions because they were planning to sabotage it as they later did by joining forces with the north to defeat it. even if u didnt contribute and all is OK and good. why not just support anything good - the aburi accord was good
stop making excuses for the yorubas - they bleeped up by not supporting Aburi accord. They joined forces with the north to scatter it
yorubas supported gowon to implemented the unitary system suggested by Ironsi. Ironsi never implemented it
ironsi suggested but didnt implement unitary system, he was still making consultations before he was killed by u lots
even if ironsi made mistakes - ojukwu corrected every thing by Aburi accord
Aburi accord was about regional system and greater autonomy which is what we are clamouring for today.
but ur people just because u want to laugh the igbos joined forces and scattered it just as it happened in 2019 elections where the yorubas were even flogging elderly igbo voters on the queue in lagos - the resultant effect is what we are facing now - the biggest shithole in the world
