Check the following: 1. The tail pipe - swipe with your finger, do u have a lot of black soot? If yes then: 2. Scan if your O2 Sensors are working or clogged up 3. The baba of them all: your ECT sensor (ECT: Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor) .. if that ECT is busted, the engine will remain in open loop ... Open loop happens when u start your car the first time in the morning and it should run for some couples of seconds or minutes till the engine reaches a pre-defined operating temperature .... It does this by bypassin the O2 sensor and flooding the engine with more fuel so as to reach operating temperature.. once it has reached that temperature, it goes into a closed loop & hands over the Long Term & Short Term Fuel Trim to the O2 sensors.. If the ECT is busted, it will continue to run in Open loop and flood the engine with more fuel than it needs .. that itself can damage the engine ... Go and scan your car sir! Wondering how i got to know this? Mechanics showed me shege with my toyota camry (even though, that camry platform na demon; talk about that later) and i had to dig and those are the results i came up with (Owners manual, Hynes Repair Manual) and has always worked for me. Hey bro, just hold on a lil bit while u perfect your web design skills ... once u can handle web jobs and u get one or 2 that u executed successfully and you have enough savings to take care of your needs for like 2-3 months, that's when u can quit. But quiting at this time, is like jumping out of an aeroplane on top of shark and crocs infested waters ... how will u survive? Cos even the 55k u earn isn't enough, not to talk of not having any income ... So pls, perfect your skill (and pls, learn some other smaller skills join: graphics design/motion design join, e get why) before u throw in the towel .... Olympuse: |
Wow! Congrats bro! U go enjoy am ... Funny thing, that same cable can power your yamaha piano keyboard but that black converter portion go hot .... and start tripping off ... But works perfect fine for hours cos the router doesn't use much power! Warning: Don't use it to charge the router UPS o or it will get damaged Adex2442: |
Well, for starters, i'll say, if your one month salary can't pay 50% of your house rent or 2 months can't cover your yearly rent, then you're simply foolish. This principle of being able to pay 50% comfortably with your 1 month rent has always helped me .... Its best to stay in a low brow, less expensive area that match your salary/income .... Why would anyone earning 100k stay in a 650k per year apartment? That is simply a free invitation for high blood pressure na cos everytime the agent or landlord calls to maybe ask some other stuffs, fear go dey catch u say maybe dem wan increase rent or want eject person cos of owed rents.... I use it with my itel star - that popular 20, 000 (20k mah) power bank ... of course, it will work with any power bank that has usb. Just ensure u don't use that cable to charge the routers power bank or else, that cable will get so hot and might burn out! Always use the cable to power the router directly without the UPS/battery: I usually do that when the routers power bank has no charge left .... Adex2442: |
Yeah, that's a great one! Congrats bro! Adex2442: |
That's a great start ... Why not try and maybe move to a place where u can earn more with what u know, instead of working with people who will pay u peanuts? Talk to family members or friends who live in such area and seek for help to get jobs in such area ... abba190: |

Haba, not even 2 kids for 1 man but 3 boys for different men? Na somebody to help her financially she dey find jare ... Safe trip o ... officialwdhtv: |
Bro, leave all those studies alone cos there's more to it .... lets just leave it .... See, Bible says that the power of life and death is in the tongue .... anything the enemy brings in dream or vision, its our duty as christians with authority in Christ to nullify it .... If i wan go buy dreams wey i don get or people tell me about me, i suppose don die 25 years ago .... Switinthemiddle: |
No spoil your brother great day with your yeye dream joor ... that's how you people dis-stabilize somebody's life .... Switinthemiddle: |
1tb data? From where? 1tb isn't a lot of data o except u don't stream videos or download large files sha and i am not sure there's a 1 year plan sef and if e dey, it will be on the high side Mustack: |
I don't have that but what i know is, u pay for the speed u want and the speeds offered so far are: 20mbps - 20k 40mbps - 35k 60mbps - 50k Ultra 200gb unlimited - has unlimited speed but is data capped at 200gb ... there are other plans with bigger data cap but when i tried the 200gb ultra, i finished it in 19 days with moderate usage... Battery test: my observation is 6 to 10 hours Mustack: |
Good morning .... What info do u need pls? Mustack: |
Na normal windows isssh jare ... 1. Ensure u have a working anti virus (avast free) ... scan the entire hdd with another laptop 2. Ensure u have anti malware (malwarebytes does a good job) ... scan the entire hdd with another laptop 3. Ensure your ram is properly seated in its slot and also, the contact are not dirty/clogged up with dust 4. Do not auto-update windows ... i repeat 1 billion times ... update does more harm than good .... it practically breaks your windows 5. As soon as u are bouyant, switch to Macbook Pro ... Apple OS is more reliable ... and u don't have to have the latest ... but the minimum year u should buy if u do graphics/editing is Mid 2012, 8gb ram, ensure the storage is SSD ... even if na 128gb u fit afford Kalatium: |
Ohh, sorry about that... Well, try and save up, but that router bro and escape from mtn data bondage megamindmaster: |
Mtn? Na the name i fear most now o ... dem fit kee person with data billing and disappearance ... Its good to switch to airtel jare .... And i think there's airtel plan for that your mifi o! Best thing to do is to go to their website: https://airtel.com.ng and input that airtel no there, then click to buy bundle ... carefully look ... i've seen that plan there too ... afterall, we are not using the full power of the 5G sef so 20mbps go work wella with your mifi megamindmaster: |
I tire ... the max we've done is about 650gb and i was doing some heavy download - tuts, footages for editing, vfx, etc ... but on a normal day, just 250gb is what we normally clock and its super fair for 20k .... omotola90: |
I'm telling u .... na airtel dey save boiz now o or else, MTN for don use our eyes see shege barawo ... u buy 100gb and e can finish in 5 days ... u will start questioning the usage ... but this one? Unless u hit 1 or 1.5 tb, it won't have issue (someone told me) omotola90: |
I don't know o but I heard so ... The one I have is the Airtel X25 5G Router and it comes with its own UPS .... As a backup, I bought a usb to round port cable so able to use the router on normal power bank whenever the ups is out of power omotola90: |
Ha? That's too complicated for me jare ... but thanks for the response... Save money and stick to that for now ... FarEl18: |
Hey bro, howdy? Sorry about the demise of your dad and also your school issues et al… life happens and we just have to find a way to deal with it … life has to go on … You’re super duper lucky someone is willing to part with 1 milla for u … well, that’s the breakthrough u need as regards seed fund to jump start your journey into career/business…. Wish I was this lucky like u … If possible, influence your NYSC posting to somewhere u can grow fast, like lagos … you’ll learn a lot fast and grow, rather than spending your 1 year in a remote village where u might not even smell electricity/internet for a while … Web Development is a good stuff to go for and u can get up to speed with the basics in some months if you’re willing to really give it time. Cinematography / Video editing/ motion graphics / 3d are also good fields you can dabble into and do well while making good money. But u should understand that there’s a learning stage and then, earning stage? To get u started, u will need a laptop and trust me, I am not part to those Gen Zees that will tell u that u must buy 4 million laptop before u can start video editing or web dev, all na lie dem dey lie. U can get started with a laptop of about 200k (I don’t mean those pepper-yoyo touch screen laptops o, don’t buy them) .. something like core i5 or i7, 8gb /12gb/16gb ram, Storage should be SSD, 15.6 inches is ok and a battery life of say 3 hours is fine … it can be windows or Mac but I’ll recommend u getting a Mac for a start: a 13 inch 2012 MacBook Pro (specs above apply) will suffice cos of the price, battery life and upgradeability … Once u have that, next stage is to decide if you’re the type that can learn on his own with video tuts or u need to enrol in a school to learn these stuffs. I’ll recommend a hybrid approach: Learn via courses but try to apply as an intern (without pay) at a company that does what u wish to learn … like a media or web development company/agency where what u want to end up doing is what they are doing … I learnt a lot on my own using self taught videos sha and later, started mingling with guys who are top guns in the fields i want ... Combining what you’re learning at home and what you’re learning on the job will fast track your growth … your internship might not be more than 3 months … during which that balance u have from your seed fund can be used to survive (spend wisely: no carrying of ladies Ugandan or u go know how far)… They may even end up employing you cos you will have mastered how to do quite a lot from them while running around as their “mumu errand boy” and doing assignments given to u … And if they don’t employ u, u will have gotten a lot of links via working with them By the way, Nigeria of today, u can't sit down with just 1 thing ... u gas learn 2 or more things to be able to make enough to sustain your existence ... My advice is to: Start small, scale up and keep growing … if u need further clarification or help, drop your whatsapp line and I’ll reach out to u. Benjamin4388: |
Noooo, stick with the nokia o cos even the highest speed i got when using the unlimited ultra (200gb data limit but speed is uncapped), was 160mbps which is still within the realm of 4G .... Hope u get me? Until they start giving us speeds like 600mbps, then u may consider switching but for now, stick with the nokia jare... By the way, does this nokia router, have an external antenna? Cos the unboxing i watched was kinda funny: saw some cable sticking out.. FarEl18: |
If na mostly downloading/streaming (not games o), just like me, buy the 20mbps plan jeje Do not, i repeat, do not buy that 200gb unlimited ultra o cos e go finish in the twinkle of an eye due to the high speed ... Intent247: |
Yeah but it's not automatically o ... I will have to buzz and tweak their twitter handles before it's sorted To me, it's not worth the trouble jare Intent247: |
Check that url they gave u ... lemme find it for u sef .. https://www.airtel.com.ng/broadband-recharge Use the url above ... i checked it and the 20k unlimited 20mbps plan is there ... Thats what i'm using and i'll renew this month end sef Obviouslyblunt: |
