This is a notification that the passport has been sent to VFS from IRCC.

The counterfoil is just another name for the single entry visa issued by IRCC. You'll probably see the counterfoil/visa number on your GC key by the end of today or worst case tomorrow. And your profile will finally read APPROVED instead of UPDATED/SUBMITTED. The package/envelope that you get back from VFS will have your passport with the visa fixed on a page in your passport and a separate A4 sized piece of paper that is your COPR. Hello house Please I need advice. I’m currently in the pool with a crs score in the high 490’s, I’m married and had put down my spouse as non accompanying. However now my spouse is suggesting he would like to come along now (my initial plan was to sponsor him when I land). The problem is, he isn’t willing to do IELTS or get his ECA so all I’ll do is loose points. I’ve lost 28 points from adding him to my application. I know spousal sponsorship can take as long as a year but I also don’t want to waste time and miss out on the possibility of ITA this year when my IELTS expires in a couple months. Suggestions please?

Please I need help here before creating a profile, tried to use the CRS tools but seems not giving me desired results.

I’m trying to determine who the PA should be, we both have same certificate, work in the same NOC.
- Husband Age 34, 7yrs Work experience
- Wife Age 29, 4yrs Work experience

Please advice as CRS tools only showing foreign work experience as 3yrs above as the highest.

PG Dip is not the same as Masters. However, most times, PG Dip can scale up after a dissertation to equate a Masters. Currently, Ireland place PG Dip and Masters on the same pedestal on their NQF for purpose of post study.
Kindly check your program on the ILEP list: www.irishimmigration.ie/coming-to-study-in-ireland/what-are-my-study-options/interim-list-of-eligible-programmes-ilep/
Ensure the PG Dip is explicitly listed and confirm the level.

Regarding job hunting, that's a different animal on its own. Others on ground will comment. All the best.

Yeah finally. They just dispatched my passport today after countless emails that were never answered.
I can now see application approved and counterfoil on ircc account now, so happy days indeed. Still won’t advise anyone to send to London office for now anyway. Bad bad service

(Sent there only cos it’s my primary and nearest VO)
My docs have been with them for 6 weeks and nothing yet, I know someone waiting 9 weeks now, so do yourself a favour. Cheers

For those looking for the visa offices close to them. Not VAC. Google "Canada visa offices outside canada". You have a list of countries and their visa office is listed in front of them. I think each country you send your passport to sends it to the Visa office attached to them. I am not sure.

I am in Sweden. I realised the only Visa Office in Eu. Is rome. So i just sent today to italy. Hopefully it comes back soon

Yeah but these trips were planned way before I even got PPR. I am even supposed to be in Venice today but missed it cos IRCC is holding my passport to stamp something they already approved. So annoying.

Accra wasn’t an option for me because I live in Europe so London was the advised office but it’s been almost 4 weeks and nothing yet. They don’t even respond to emails (lol)
I need my passport to go to the US.
