Dsalvo: Obi and his IPOB fanbase are comical. Do they think they will benefit electorally by discrediting BAT?
This election is a desperate 'cold war' between North and South. Stakes are very high because 'born to rule' Northerners who always demand power, so as to be able to control every Nigerian money - making parastatal and process, are at their most desperate , in the history of Nigeria, to ensure power remains in the North.
This is because they are petrified Buhari has done so much damage that any powerful Southerner, like Tinubu, will be demanded by the entire Nigeria to 'change it' for them and 'equalize'. There is real anger and bad blood in the heart of Southern Leaders over the perception Buhari has deliberately put the South in jeopardy to favour the North.
This is even why Atiku and Tambuwal combined desperately and jettisoned the need for fairness by finally destroying the North to South equitable power shift. Such is the desperation of some Northern leaders to hold on to power that they are willing to go into uncharted troubled water that may destroy the unity of Nigeria finally and completely.
Nigeria is now in a silent feudal war between North and South.
Even Kwankwaso has confessed that the 'mood' of the North is to retain power. What he failed to add is that it is the mood of Northern leaders and elite, whose existence depends on political power and patronage, he is referring to.
All in all, this is not Obi's level. It is not Amaechi's level or even Osinbajo's level. Those guys are not battle-ready leaders, like proven war generals, with a dedicated troop of leaders behind them who are ready to go to war with them.
Tinubu is the only Southerner who can battle the North so that Nigeria is reshaped in an image that benefits all to include even the Northerners ready to vote their historical and callous oppressors in the form of Kwankwaso and Atiku.
Obi is a little boy in a big man's game. He is going nowhere because there are levels and this is not his level nor his time. After Buhari, Nigeria will not survive the wrong choice of President for even 6 months.
Those talking about Obi are fantasists. Even in much better times in the past, Obi would never last as a President if he arrives with no legislators as he plans to do with Labour Party.
In today's troubled Nigeria, with so much good versus evil battle going on underground for the soul of our nation, Obi is just a clown in a joke of a political Party.
The North, if Atiku cannot win, would love Obi to win so they can impeach him within 3 months using the legislative majority we know they will always carry.
It is Tinubu, who is the most powerful southerner alive and a man who does not fear them, they are worried about and wish to keep out of Aso Rock by any means possible. Their continuous control of every sector of Nigeria desperately depends on keeping BAT awy from the Presidency.
If Obi had been in Tinubu's shoes, battling for the APC ticket against Northern 'born to rule' political fascism, he would have fled Nigeria to hide in Alaska.
The only good thing about Obi is that he will damage PDP's traditional strength in the SS and SE to the benefit of Tinubu and APC. Anyone thinking Obi has a chance does not understand the real desperate battle going on that cannot be spoken about openly by any of the candidates even though Kwankwaso has inadvertently clued on sharp Nigerians with his Northern "mood" talk. Tinubu has cowered and exalted the north than any southern politician, the only person that I think has come close to Tinubu cowering is Azikiwe. Tinubu is just like everyone of them, a northern pleaser, even Obi and Wike are also northern pleasers... So spare us, since evidently all southern politicians will rather please the north, we should go for the most healthy, relatable, and competent one |
Politics › Re: "Do Not Vote For Any Candidate Who Cannot Speak To You Directly" - Peter Obi Say by BigSarah(f): 11:48am On Aug 28, 2022 |
hedonido: This goes without saying. Throughout the PDP era... Obasanjo, even the terminally ill Yar' Adua, Goodluck, they ALL held monthly or quarterly presidential media chats where they directly interacted with journalists LIVE, answered pressing questions, and briefed Nigerians on what they are doing and the state of the nation essentially.
All of that changed with this bastard Buhari who was packaged into office and remained packaged, aloof, and arrogantly deaf and dumb throughout his despicable 8 miserable years in power.
Now the same thing is happening with the old, desperate, wicked, criminally inclined agbado bastard. Addressing Nigerians through characters like Shittima, Keyamo, Dele Alake and other proxies is such a distasteful insult. It wouldn't work. If he can't come out and open his putrid mouth to talk to Nigerians, repetitively and regularly like the other candidates are doing then let him retire to his house to rule over his family.
Bloody BATstard.

I wonder if he's going to create a seaport, airport, add millions of population to every state in Nigeria and tax them for breathing, and mandate every conglomerate to erect offices in all state and pay tax there.
If he's not going to do that then, that's a scam |

Besides, he's not the best candidate, Peter Obi as governor couldn't even get his state GDP above Benue, but will come on national TV and lie effortlessly That's false. Who is a better candidate and what makes the better? You can't call PO a liar, You can say he's occasionally inaccurate but not a liar. |
Politics › Re: Check Out The 3 Reasons Why Tinubu Is Better Than Peter Obi by BigSarah(f): 8:25pm On Aug 24, 2022 |
Lagos should generate more revenue, because of its Ports and population, and previous special status, compared to Anambra.
All of Tinubu mentees are currently in this present administration and we all know the score card of each of them, and the overall score card of APC, so expecting those people to perform differently should Tinubu be elected is foolhardy.
On the issue of security, Peter Obi's tenure was the definition of serene, can't say so Tinubu's tenure with OPC and Nurtw and constant cult clashes, just pick dailies from the times these two were in power. The current security situation of both states now truly can't be compared, but the only person to be blamed is PMB and the current governor and Obiano along with IPOB and other criminal elements.
Bottomline you're dishonest |

I wasn't fooled, some people were like Afam deluxo and Co.. I've also said it repeatedly Peter Obi can not get 18% votes from Northern Muslims, impossicant. I've also said it's impossible for Obi to win this election. But that doesn't change the fact that Peter Obi is the best candidate amongst the top 3 |

And these southerners think northerners are fools, there's really nothing that can stop Atiku from winning, even death |

Politics › Peter Obi Already Paying Nigerian Youths by BigSarah(op): 5:58pm On Aug 19, 2022 |
For the first time in decades 18- 30 year Old Nigerians are Spokespersons for major Electoral Candidates, this week alone 3 young Nigerians have appeared on major TV channels as reps for the LP presidential campaign.
60% of the time you get an representative from the Peter Obi / LP camp on Radio or TV interviews it's a youth (18-40 yr old) representing the movement.
Aside that Peter Obi's ambition is already creating jobs and feeding and engaging hundreds if not thousands of Nigerian youths on the cyberspace ( YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok). Practically every channel of influencers, Comedians, musicians, Sport persons repping the Obidient movement has overwhelming earnings.
Obviously the generation of Nigerians that will overwhelming benefit from a would be LP government will be the generation of Nigerians that has not enjoyed zilch from Nigeria.
40 to 80yr Olds enjoyed a country with fewer population and more opportunities and better chances to succeed in Nigeria, whereas those of us born in the 1990's (specifically 1999 to 2003), haven't enjoyed a "working country with government created opportunities to succeed"
I urge other political parties to give room for younger Nigerians, not the usual grandpa and grandma representatives and beneficiaries. |
