onila:

Nigeria has the largest supplier of peacekeepers in Africa
To be real with u guys, i don't see or feel any sense of goodwill from other african countries or the international community at large about our peacekeeping efforts in Africa.
Maybe deploying troops to keep peace is now old sch or maybe we are very poor in negotiating a bilateral deals with the countries we commit Nigerian lives and army to. Or maybe they just hate us no matter what we do (trust me guys, that's becoming a valid option).

Anyway, i just feel, if SA was going to mess with anyone, it shouldn't be 9ja now, that's f**king disrespectful.

south africans, i trash u in football any day any time. U're forever in my shadow. At least football wise. cheesy cheesy
Oga clam down, even though i am a strong believer that SA doesn't know how to play soccer (real talk!). i wouldn't brag about it right now, cos cos nig sucks big time in soccer
Politics / Re: We Won’t Apologise To Nigeria, Says S-africa by bigsean(m): 4:34pm On Mar 08, 2012
@Cantell b4 ur abuse me join (lol grin)
i just saw u post owning up that the repost was in error. Its all good.
no need for u and vavavoom (funny name though) to dey bash urselfs, we all in this fight for restoring our international pride together.
what SA did in the first place is not good, it goes a long way to show how they really look at us, it was a premeditated plan.
call me an a.r.s.e but if i was govt will only listen to SA when my 125 SA's deported from Nigeria is complete.
And i will start respecting my citizens more, cos its obvious, nobody is going to give u more respect than ur own home country.
Because the international community is watching our response.

(they say when u are in a new place, the first person that "try" u, u go rake like say the heavens wan fall, so that everybody else watching go give themselves brain if them wan chance u before)
The world is watching nigeria.
Politics / Re: We Won’t Apologise To Nigeria, Says S-africa by bigsean(m): 4:27pm On Mar 08, 2012
@Cantell, Seriously bro?

This is just funny, i tot i was seeing things cos i just woke up or a glitch in the NL system. But no the cantell guy actually reposted exactly the same sentence twice.
Politics / Re: Yellow Fever: South Africa Apologizes Over Deportation by bigsean(m): 4:10pm On Mar 08, 2012
i have reported to the moderator and i think the rest of u should to, cos apparently the moderators are not seeing the obvious glitch in their system concerning the troll and scammer in  bettybill98 and their foolish proposal.
Politics / Re: Yellow Fever: South Africa Apologizes Over Deportation by bigsean(m): 1:32pm On Mar 08, 2012
@Mr Globe, as much as u are correct, It doesn't change the fact that Nigeria as a nation must act at one point or the other. And if it takes a political head to be embarrassed before they can act, aslong as they acted swiftly is still something (however small & petty we may think it is).

How can SA bounce us? That's a direct message that they feel threatened by our political position in Africa. Look, if SA wants to be the no1. economy and most influential in africa, thats fine, nigeria has had it for many years (or almost had it, not sure) and we have gotten nothing out of it; no diplomatic respect from any country to the best of my knowledge.(even though there are a lot of other reasons for that as well, "corruption, 419 etc" but which nation doesn't have its own rotten eggs).

Anyway, my point is, even though u are correct that this disrespect has been going on for some time and the nig govt has been acting like :nothing is happening:  now that it has come to the forefront for whatever reason, we should encourage the tit4tat approach by the nig govt to save the nations shame. Lets even assume the yellow fever docs are fake - (mind u, not all of us carry fake docs, my dad takes documentations very serious even yellow fever, i remember going somewhere on the island to get inoculated back then when i was about going to the UK) - there are many diplomatic ways of handling the situation in a less tense and dramatic fashion. Like i read in another post, the passengers could be charged a premium price at worst and get inoculated right there before leaving the airport (this is just one option, and this is what they have been doing in the past).
SA mess up big time, they are sending Naija a very clear political message with this action, it is up to our govt to stop embezzling money, open its eyes and do what is right for its citizenry.

(What is not GOOD is BAD, there is no in-between!)
Politics / Re: Switch Off Mtn Line Protest By 12:00 Noon For 7 Days by bigsean(m): 5:15pm On Mar 07, 2012
Can we refocus on the topic. . . . . People should stop player hating, or hating from the sideline (touchline).
US, Uk and 9ja are all great in my opinion. (not to sure about the latter though grin)
But seriously, the govt have worked hard to damage our reputation. Yes i know yahoo boys have a huge chunk of the blame to, but its still the govt.
its the role of the govt to solidify bilateral relationships with the international community. I know deep down all Nigerians are hard working and creative by default, but u need the environment to show ur skills, not  only are the govt not providing such environment, they are taking away whats left.
As much as it hurts to say this, MTN has no role in the current shameful event that just took place.

PS I'am here in the interest of naija, I don't have to tell you what I'am doing here.

If you have the interest of Nigeria at heart then what are you doing in the UK washing plates and cleaning toilets? Guy, come back and do it,  We get plent plates to wash
R.E.T.A.R.D ALERT!!!

why digress and attack someone personally, with a stereotype?
If u think that its everybody that's outside 9ja that wash plates, then too bad for u. (poverty of ambition.)

KINGwax:

and Who said nokia is fading?
Bro, NOkia is fading, market share said so.(whether u believe it or not doesn't mean its not true. . . just a fact!)
don't get it twisted bro, if nokia was that strong as u think it is, phones like BB, iphone and Android would have never seen the light of day or had all the huge profits the are declaring.

I'm a nokia fan, trust me, i bought 2 nokia phones in the US here to show my loyalty, but they where to slow to catch up with the tech curve, what they were trying to do, iphone had already done it and BB did it like 3-4 years ago.

BB is going down,(u do know they changed their CEO cos of not meeting target) they dropped the ball somewhere and if they don't wake up fast, "the thing go over them".
Phones / Re: Rim Launches Blackberry 9790 In Nigeria by bigsean(m): 2:50pm On Feb 28, 2012
Blackberry is a dying technology and company, if they do not re-invent themselves, they will fade faster than nokia.
