MetaPhysical: Bigwig, wow! Is your wig blocking your vision?
How do people chained inside ship revolt and seize ship in middle of ocean? I think that film Amistad, got you guys incensed and revved up to come up with all kind of scenarios for slaves that if indeed happened would have ended in heavy massacre of the captives. Slave revolts happened on lands. If it happened in boats there is no record of one that was successful or that ended in a take over. Lift up your wig so you can see what you type. God bless! soon chinese will be slave masters to all the yorubas |
Nairaland General › Igbos Landing by bigwig071(op): 7:28am On Aug 03, 2020 |
History before civilization. The story of Igbo slaves Long time ago, in the Month of May 1803 75 igbo slaves from the eastern part of Nigeria were captured by the British, remember that the major means of transportation back then was water, so the captors of the Igbo slaves were sailing back to sell the slaves to their masters, the 75 Igbo slaves were chained inside the ship half way into the journey the slaves revolted and took control of the ship, the 75 slaves grounded the ship Dunbar Creek, St Simon island, Glynn Country Georgia.
Instead of submitting to slavery they drowned their captors and started marching in to the water holding hands and singing a native igbo song, while drowning their selves.
Igbos landing. This historical moment is called the "Igbo landing " and it will be forever remembered as the first freedom match in the history of America. Leave a comment below, like and share with any igbo person you know. Thank you for reading. |

HappyNigerian: Amaechi, in a statement on Saturday, said that the $500 million loan was collected during the regime of former president, Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan and not in the government of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has stated that Nigerian government has the capability to pay back loans collected for the construction of rail projects within the stipulated period of 20 years, but that the loan was not collected by the present government as claimed by many. Torixus reports.
Amaechi, in a statement on Saturday, also said that the Chinese government are the only rich country in the world that can give out loans with a very low interest rate of 2.8 percent. And that’s why the last Government proceeded.
“The 500 million dollars was not taken by us, it was taken by President Goodluck Jonathan in his term and that clause was there.
“Nigeria has the capacity to pay back for the period of 20 years at 2.8 per cent, which country will give you that loan? Secondly, these loans are not given to us, they are paid directly to the contractors.
The minister also said that the Nigerian government has paid 96 million Dollars already and will complete the full payment before the next 20 years.
“We are paying the loans. In the same National Assembly sitting, they were told that of the 500million dollars loan, we have paid 96 million dollars already, Nigeria is already paying.

ogbonti: oppressive regimes do not like free communication because they know that is how the oppressed citizens rise up to cause revolutions
take a look at north korea - there is no whatsapp there
if we default on this debts and China takes over Nigeria - social media will be grounded because the Chinese will not want Nigerians to be plotting how to liberate themselves
if you think this can’t happen - Paul Biya did it in Cameroun recently - the internet in the Ambazzonia area that was trying to secede was jammed and no one could log in on facebook or internet for almost 3 weeks - no whatsapp or social media because the government didn’t want the atrocious activities of La Republique Gendarmes in southern cameroon to be broadcasted to the world
that is ordinary cameroon ooooo, a third world country could do that - not to talk of China that has the technology to jam communication in Nigeria for 100 years so that ordinary phone call sef u can not make to outside Nigeria. your phones will be like toy radio on your hands just to make sure the outside world doesn’t interfere with the punishment of the Nigerian people.
Take a look at Cuba, information flow within the country amongst citizens is so regulated that no one is free there - it’s like they are living in the stone age, and that is how social and communication control is done in pseudo communist enclaves
take a look at Hong Kong - if these things happen to Nigeria, the sky will not fall - the world will go on and we will just suffer for nothing because of Buhari and Amaechi selling us into slavery! na tinubu invite the Chinese and that same money be that bullion vann and all the.....that owned by igbos |
