sirgreen: My bros I believe in all you said but look at argument when you manage to finish school you get first degree after many years of striking you apply for they said you to have 3-5years experience where will get that if not in practicing talk about money and opportunity if you don't it what will you do, go to bank for loan they will give you list of requirements which you cant afford where do we start people are ready to some thing meaningful but how to start. please show me way pls plsI've never written a cv so I dont know about the application side, but I started my first business with less than 10k, ive never used the degree I got from school. I grew it into something very big, used funds from it any re invested in other things. You dont need a Big Idea or Big capital. Forget Bank loans, they would never give you one when you have no track record. If its your money you wont give it like that either. Learn a valuable skill you can demand money for, become good at it, package yourself, business name etc, get clients, when you get enough clients, hire somebody to do the dirty work and focus on getting clients or vice versa, whatever you do make sure you are always marketing never fall into the trap of "I am a cab driver so I must drive cabs to survive", learn to delegate and give other people work to do so you can scale up, Draft an exit or expansion plan once the first business is making enough money you start finding yourself idle because your staff are doing everything. Think of a Bigger idea and invest in it with savings from the first. In 10 years see what would happen. Just make sure you make selling and keeping your clients happy a priority |
Lovely Initiative, |

80% of the "Rich People" and "Rich Friends" I know started with nothing, ZERO. If you want to make it in Nigeria you would, when you stop complaining about the "conditions" you would realise every single Bad thing in this country is a problem waiting for someone to solve it and get paid for it (money in the Bank). Pick a problem and figure out how to solve it today, your assignment, your Business Idea. |
Lol |
If you want to steal in Nigeria do 100m up. You would be untouchable. This one don buy market |
manifest: They have been on my neck since last week Friday. I have sent a copy of Passport/ Bank Card and Statement. Its almost getting ridiculous!https://www.nairaland.com/1505974/anyone-else-having-issues-hostgator I'd email you |
Boll2010: don't tell me you can loose in biz......y can't u tel me you can gain in biz......its all abt RISK.....me replyin you is a risk.......be a risk taker b4 you can rch sum certain heights.....mind you dangote took some risk to invest billions of dollars in some project........chevron took risk durin the NIGER delta crisis then.....n its still payn offI've been in Business for years, I've lost Huge sums, made Huge sums, so I'm speaking from experience. I said "You can loose money as fast as you can make it", its a 2 way street I'm probably the biggest risk-taker you'd ever meet trust me, even tending towards reckless in taking opportunities. But what I would NEVER do is steal |
dryakson: have you received my mail?Let me check it now |
Boll2010: But Op u aint wise jst admit it.........the way you pictured the design was not from an entrepreneur perspective at all.......next tym keep the money for 4months in the same account, after four months invest the money into a small bizness.....by that you wld v gained some intrest greater than 20k......let me help you out if you had that 800k you wld setup a gud bakery biz, rather wastin tym sayn no employment,n if u v a job, then it wld be a bonus pay.......now capital is gone to stat sumtn,u left with 20k wey no rch boys spend a nyt.......if you invested the money I'm sure if the bank later get to knw they wld v paid the money n come back looking for you......n if you knw ur rights the bank wld v to give you limited tym to pay back their money,ny so doing you wld v yield intrest........jst my view........but God knw say I no go pay am back, cuz bank self no go pay me back! And for the man to give 20k it shows if he was in your shoe,he won't return the money.......use ya brain........when life throws lemon make lemonade.......them dangote,adenuga,otedola........were all smart with their first dough^^^ Business is not an exact science. You can loose money as fast as you can make it. Dangote had a Loan (legal) don't know about the rest but stolen money usually grows wings, trust me |
dryakson: I was surprised at the user above he asked for my bank details and he transfer 5,000 naira to my account as a reward .Amen ![]() @All, I don't care if the story is true or not, but we should support Good Deeds, If we keep making People who do good feel stupid I weep for the future of this country. Encourage the OP, See Link Below: http://www.wsfa.com/story/23459784/montgomery-native-raises-50k-for-homeless-bostonian-who-did-good-deed |

Born 2be Rich: Thanks sir...Well, IMO i see it as a medium/long term investment... in their Q3 result they were able to grow their PAT by 13.6 % which is close to the believability index forecasted by proshare..Abeg o! I no follow for Oga, make kidnappers no hook me, I still be learner. |

Great one Bro! Honesty is the best Policy, I pity the ones saying you should withdraw and travel. How long can 800k last?? I'd send you a private message now, make I add small thing to the 20k |
abhosts: Ironic, because if it was a Nigerian Host involved I do not think the OP would be this polite in his assessment. Not ironic, I tend to be polite in most situations. Thanks for your helpful observation ![]() |
Hostgator is becoming my nightmare, Especially following the migration this weekend, My sites are slow, Unnecessary Database connection Errors, I guess the acquisition is finally taking its toll, Etc. Anyone Else having issues? |
manifest: Hello NL Programmers,Avoid Hostgator, it's terrible nowadays |
And the Baby would be called "keke" |
yemi2plus: Shut da fucck up... Who you dey show yourself for? Most of the powerful people in the world are non-graduate. Zubby is an example.I'm answering komek, he talked about ASUU, unemployment and free data. Those 3 answers where based on those 3 points. You really should read before you write. And mind you I've never used my degree for the businesses I own. You can put your points across without insults you know? |
komek: The correlation is that I did not quote u even when I said 'we' . We cud mean so many other things, buh u took it upon ursef to quote me. Zubby77, has so many other engagements , so he did not deem it fit to reply. But because of ASUU, the high rate of unemployment and free data given to us by must of our telcom providers, u took it upon ursef to start quoting my opinion. No wahala.1. I graduated ages ago BSC and Msc 2. I pay people to work for me and I've been doing that over 5 years non stop 3. I pay for my internet on every device I use. All that talk isn't necessary. My statement simply meant if others are ready to support Zuby with the story, don't poison their minds. Probably in hindsight I should have ignored you like Zuby did, it wasn't worth it replying you if you can't answer without throwing in sly insults. Enjoy |
Why did Sambo wear a cap in church? |
komek: Serious student, a.k.a Zubby's faithful."we no get money for naija o" Don't generalise that. How does that correlate to what you just said? |
Numero uuuno: ^^^^^Let him not search o!! Amen! |
lol... make I no talk wetin dey my mind |
No vex, Let no one tell "Mr Foxy" we're here o! I didnt miss the Nursery rhymes |
People still live in that place? |
komek: Bros, ur points are noted. Buh we no get money for naija oDon't generalise abeg, |
emmanuel ewumi: Payment can be made through UBA branch nationwide using the following details:Please How do I indicate Payment methods on the form? Also do I send my filled forms to Afriprud or my Broker? I'm offshore right now so I need to courier |
