The truth is that you have completed all the process for your passport application, what is remaining i believe is to produce your passport and like i told you, if the officer who helped you to facilitate the passport already has asked you for additional, am very sorry, that's the sistuation of things like...understand and top up the money and get your passport...

He didn't ask me for anything he was just telling me that there is shortage of booklets

I got captured since August 2nd in Osun State office yet no booklet till date

I registered August 3rd and but I was told they are still printing those that did theirs in July 14

The excuse has been that they are given limited booklets but I later heard those that pay 60k were able to collect their within a week.

I once taught some kids during d Corona holiday.


The pay was 5k per month and I just needed it (at least to purchase toothpaste, bathing soap and other small stuffs like barbing hair).

Luckily, d place was like a 20 minutes trek from my house. So, I trekked everyday to save cost.

Once paid, the first thing I do is to remove 500naira from d money (for taking myself out and spoiling myself).

I usually buy a bottle of malt + 300naira goat meat.

Then start managing d rest .

There is no official ban placed on issuance of work permit for Nigerians living and working in the United Arab Emirates, the United Arab Emirates’ Ambassador to Nigeria Dr Fahad Obaid AI Taffaq has said
Ambassador AI Taffaq stated this when he received Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) at the Embassy in Abuja.
He said just like others, he read about the ban in the social media ,stressing that the UAE has no restrictions against any nationality.

He said there are possibly isolated cases of individuals whose work visas were not renewed for one reason or the other.
Dr Obaid added that only UAE issued over 50 visas to Nigerians last week and stressed that there are thousands of Nigerians working and living legally in the UAE.
The UAE Envoy said they were optimistic that Emirates Airlines would soon resume flights into Nigeria.
Mrs Dabiri-Erewa said the clarification was really reassuring given a barrage of calls and inquiries by Nigerians within and outside the UAE on official stoppage of issuance of work permit to Nigerians.
NiDCOM boss urged Nigerians in the UAE to always obey the laws of their host country, be good Ambassadors and excel in whatever they do.

But the agent from Uganda you recommended told me Nigeria is not being granted working visa for now, that I have to do tourist visa first then when I come over to UAE, I will do partnership visa.
