One The technical expertise involved in such Civil Engineering projects is NOT transferred and so the loan ends up creating more jobs for the Chinese. In the past when China was relatively backward when they awarded huge contracts they ensured that there was a technology transfer clause which meant THEIR people acquired the skills.

Road building is not nuclear science. At this rate when will Nigeria learn how to build roads by ourselves. We award contracts to foreigners that ensure we are slaves in our land.Julius Berger has been in Nigeria 40 years and you still find Oyinbo all over their projects.

The second issue with these "contracts" is valuation of the deals. What is the profit margin on these contracts to CHINESE companies on CHINESE loans . We need to ask these questions rather than cheering like monkeys.

Finally why do we need to borrow at all all the money involve here is less than the money that disappeared in the oil subsidy scam under the watch of this slowpoke. Money that was NEVER in the budget. We are watching but we have long memories

I am pretty sure you havent travelled Akwa Ibom where Chinese CCECC constructed most of the roads, you will know that those roads are best in the country.You want us to give the contract to a Nigeria contractor so he can use the road to learn the job, Tufiakwa, e no happen.
