I read a lot of the replies here with amusement and surprise. Most of the married men don't understand the psychological make up of a woman while most of the women either do not understand themselves or have made up their minds to endure marriage rather than enjoy it.
My understanding of a man from my study is that he gets turned on easily sometimes against his will; it's natural but for the woman to be turned on she has to be completely involved emotionally, physically, I mean it's not just a spontaneous reaction for her. That's why she'll not cooperate when she's worried,sad, angry,etc.
Most of our mothers did us no good by preparing us wrongly or not preparing us at all for the sexual aspect of marriage. That's some women view sex as a man thing. If your wife belongs to this group you are in trouble because she'll only be there while you do the work. I tell it'll be laborious to say the least.
Some or most women had been taught consciously or otherwise that men cannot be relied on thus your children are your husbands. Husbands to these women will definitely be abandoned as soon as children start coming into the union: the children have all the love their fathers should get then the man becomes miserable.
There are more reasons but it's of utmost importance to discuss sex in your courtship, learn as much as possible about sex. Learn more about women and marriage particularly if you are a Christian or you don't want to cheat your partner as a responsible man or woman.
I read the comment of someone who is considering leaving his virgin fiancee to that I want to say authorizatively that virginity has little or nothing to do with a woman's response to sex after marriage. Her mindset about sex and the way you introduce her to sex and sex to her is what will determine what happens to your sexual lives after marriage.
I am a christian and an advocate of no sex before marriage, married as a virgin having learnt a lot about sex in marriage and sexuality of both men and women, I'm enjoying my sex life giving and receiving as the need arises. I'm not just married; my kids are all grown up.
It's wrong I must say for women to use sex as a means of getting what you want as a woman,if you do, it's like you are reducing your own value.

This farm doesn't belong to the man alone. It's a cooperative effort, anyone can invest in any aspect of the farm. Ranching is just an aspect,rice,soy beans,corn, yam,etc are also cultivated by the group.

What are we teaching the coming generation? I believe our children should be taught to obey the rules and regulations of whichever organization they find themselves. My child wrote this exam,he was asked to remove his shoes and he wrote the exam barefooted.
We're all aware of the high rate of exam malpractice. I believe it is better to allow these children grow as good Nigerians.

I am highly disappointed by the prosecution counsel. They could have at least read through their positions before submitting it to the tribunal. How can a judge be bribed two years before hearing a case? Can you bribe a judge to make you lose a case? Can you bribe a judge who is not a member of panel in a case to win such a case?
I do think Nigeria now has a dictionary that is different from rest of the world. So much for intergrity and corruption fighting.

I think the YORUBAs behaving like a fool has been misunderstood by the original fools as the YORUBAs been the fools . They thought the Yorubas are foolish , thus the docile and cowards amidst the three tribes, yet the ditto invariably determines the country's fate.
The YORUBAs since 1999 till date have been in charge of our democracy. They have been determining who lives in ASO rock and how long. Obasanjo having served two terms from 1999 till 2007 brought in yaradua in lieu of babangida as was initially agreed by the elders to take over the affairs of the country, knowing fully well his boy(goodluck ebele Jonathan) would succeed him(yaradua).(credit to obj for trying to bring back the igbos into Nigerian politics, although Jonathan wasn't pure igbo) . Soon afterwards , obasanjo removed Jonathan from office after he felt he has been betrayed by his own boy. He and tinubu then recourse to bring deserted buhari into play from 2015 till date, and of course till 2023 when the country's fate again would be determined by the acclaimed political fools but apt people.
Truth is, the YORUBAs are wiser than you all think. They have played a key role in our progress and regress. What we ought to do is to harness this wisdom solely for our progress rather than professing the reverse of the reality out of ignorance and envy. The Yorubas own and determines the fate of this country. We solely can determine when NIGERIA splits. We are intrinsically powerful and wise people.
