HealthRe: Do The Dead See The Living From Heaven? Can They Interfere? by binhozie(op): 9:26pm On Jan 28, 2012
F-weezy:
Let me first start by sayin that have you have my deepest sympathies and condolences on the irreplaceable loss of your Dad
The answer to your 1st question is YES and your 2nd question is NO.
Everybody in Heaven is given a chance to see anybody (especially loved ones) who they wish to see on earth, and so rest assured your late biological father can see you here on earth (and to an extent, see into your nearest future) anytime he wants. But that is as far as it goes because there are rules in Heaven, he will not be allowed to communicate with you, relate with you or warn you of any pending danger he forsees in your nearest future. The best he can do for you now is to interceed on your behalf to God and pray that He guides your path and you make Heaven too like he has done. You needn't worry yourself about him anymore cos he's alright, but rather as he worries about you, you also need to worry about yourself and how you can overcome all the obstacles that the devil will place on your way to prevent you from gettin into heaven to reunite with your Dad. If truly you love and miss him, then pause and think deeply about this,
I imagine that you hav gotten some ideas from american movies of the dead intefering with the actions of the living. I am sorry to announce to you that they are all SO VERY WRONG. Only angelic beings hav that special ability to transit the physical and spirit world conveniently (sometimes at great price). Angels in heaven do so only at God's command but demons (fallen angels) at will (or maybe at the devil's will i think) but dead humans, capital NO.
Humans were not created that way and can only relate with each other while here on earth. Script writers of such movies know nothing about God, dont consult the Bible and only try to create a feeling of false assurance in the hearts of viewers of their films. Such deception is intended to make people feel that they can live their lives anyhow they like against God's will and still have a chance or hope of reuniting with their loved ones in Heaven who have passed on before them. Son, that concept only works well in the movies but you can tell as much as i that God is no fool. Be not deceived God is not mocked whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap. Our world today maybe so twisted and all but believe me that there is such a thing as real as karma in the after life where its effectiveness is never in doubt. i DONT want to sound like an authoritative preacher on this matter bt i can show you hidden proofs of all this in the Bible which sadly many people tend to overlook.
Thanks a lot.
I cant really explain how very happy i am to read this post.

CrimeRe: Mob Lynches Cop For Killing Driver Over Bribe by binhozie(m): 12:20am On Jan 27, 2012
IBADAN—A policeman, Olufemi Ajayi was Wednesday lynched and set ablaze in Ayete, Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State, for allegedly shooting to death a middle aged man.

The policeman was said to have been lynched by irate mob after allegedly killing the man, identified as Mr. Emiola Kolade, said to be a popular commercial driver over a bribery disagreement  at a check-point.

Mr. Ajayi was said to have shot the commercial driver in the eye. One of his eyeballs was said to have bulged out of its socket.

Though the driver was said to have struggled with death, he died later at a nearby Igboora General hospital. His death was said to have triggered a street protest by sympathisers especially women.

The trigger-happy policeman was said to have been pursued into a nearby bush and was forced to take the driver to the hospital for treatment.

According to an eye witness, angered people on the Idere/ Ayete road were said to have descended heavily on the policeman and set him ablaze.

He said, “The victim was flagged down by the police corporal, who demanded N100. The issue then  degenerated into a hot argument and what we heard later was a gunshot and the commercial driver was found lying on the ground in pool of his blood.”

Please Nairalanders i need your opinion on this point
I will be very grateful if you can answer this question as meaningfully as possible.

I have two questions to ask.
I lost my Dad about 2 and half years ago and he was the dearest person in my life.
I loved him dearly and he loved me too. It seems like yesterday he left me.
I know he is in heaven because he died in christ.
I want to know two things:

1. Do dead people (in heaven) see the living on earth? Does my father (My earthly father) See me from heaven?

2. Can dead people (in heaven) interfere with the actions of the living (As in the movies: Pardon my crazy analogy) Can my father probably protect or save
me from maybe some harm??

Hope i dont sound odd?

Thank You

Janus-Faced Fashola Exposed By The Nigerian Army Regarding Deployment Of Soldiers In Lagos
Posted: January 20, 2012 - 00:57
By Opeyemi Adesina

The Nigerian Army spokesperson, Col. Mohammed Yerima has broken his silence over the heavy presence of military men on Lagos streets, saying it was requested and actively sponsored by the Lagos state government.

Although, the minister of Defence, Bello Haliru Mohammed, told newsmen on Tuesday that the military personnel were deployed by Federal Government to Lagos to safeguard lives and property in view of recently protests and national strike.

Yerima stated this in a four paragraph statement he read to journalists at a press conference in Abuja on Thursday. He noted that the soldiers were drawn from the same Operation MESSA, a security arrangement of Lagos State government made up of police and military personnel.

The statement reads: “The attention of the Defence Headquarters has been drawn to the unsubstantiated claims by a section of the public alleging that the Federal Government ordered the deployment of troops in Lagos to halt the protest against the fuel subsidy removal.

“While the Defence Headquarters do not wish to join issues with any individual or groups regarding the matter, we wish to state categorically, in the interest of the larger society, that there is no element of truth in those claims.

“The soldiers seen on the streets of Lagos are still the same men of the special task force code named Operation MESSA set up and sponsored by the Lagos State government long before the fuel subsidy protests, for the purpose of supporting the civil police in protecting lives and property as is the case in many parts of the country.

“The men of the task force who are currently in Lagos have been there and were not brought from outside Lagos. They are members of the Lagos State Government sponsored Operation MESA and the demand for their withdrawal is therefore uncalled for”, he concluded.

But in a swift reaction, the Honourable Commissioner for Information & Strategy, Mr. Aderemi Ibirogba, said the claim by the Nigerian Army was a blatant lie and there was no iota of truth.

He enjoined Nigerian Army to show the entire populace the proof that the Lagos State Government has a hand in the mass deployment of soldiers.

Ibirogba said the state government has nothing to gain in victimising its citizens, because they have constitutional right to protest without destruction of lives and properties, which was not obtainable during the 6-day industrial action in the state.

Inspector General Of Police Gets 24 Hours To Produce Boko Haram Escapee

CP Zakari Biu and IG of Police, Hafiz Ringim
By Saharareporters, New York

President Goodluck Jonathan has given the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Hafiz Ringim, 24 hours to produce  Boko Haram suspect  Kabiru Sokoto who escaped from police detention on Monday.

Earlier, the Commissioner of Police, Zakari Biu, the head of the Zonal Command -7 of the Nigeria Police Force handling Boko Haram investigation in the Crime Investigation Department was suspended by the IGP.  Police sources said they were shocked that Mr. Biu was brought into the unit in the first place, given his background.  Under Mr. Biu, many Boko Haram suspects have been released under questionable circumstances.

The suspect was allegedly responsible for the Christmas bombing of St Theresa's Catholic Church, in Madalla, Niger State, about which he made useful statements to the police concerning the masterminds of the sect.

Apparently in a bid to prevent him from exposing the sponsors of terrorism, he was allowed to escape in questionable circumstances.

Whereas he was arrested by two lorry loads of mobile policemen on Saturday, only three policemen were detailed to accompany him to his house yesterday for a belated search.

It is an unusual practice that the suspect was accompanied only by a few police officers, which is at variance with police procedures that ensure that high value terror suspects are accompanied by well-armed mobile police officers with advance parties as well as surveillance teams in mufti.

Mr. Biu acted as an enforcer for former military dictator Sanni Abacha. In his heyday in the force in the 1990s, he was responsible for detonating bombs that were later ascribed to opposition figures in the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO).

Mr. Biu was dismissed by President Olusegun Obasanjo, but he was later reintegrated into the force as an Assistant Commissioner of Police, and then promoted to Commissioner of Police under Mr. Jonathan.

A source told SaharaReporters that Mr. Biu was very bitter about the death of his son, Tahir Zakari Biu, an officer at the EFCC who was killed in the October 1, 2010 Independence Day bombing that claimed 27 lives in Abuja.

The blast was allegedly carried out by the Niger Delta militant group, MEND.

In a new petition yesterday to President Jonathan today, prominent Nigerian civil rights lawyer, Femi Falana called on Mr. Jonathan to remove IGP Ringim himself from office, or he will request the special prosecutor of the International Criminal Court to investigate and prosecute him for aiding and abetting crimes against humanity.”

Mr. Falana, commenting on the escape of the Boko Haram suspect from police custody, recalled Mr. Jonathan’s recent disclosure that the federal government has been infiltrated by the sect.  He noted that although the statement was borne out of frustration, the government should be blamed for rejecting the genuine calls for the removal of incompetent security chiefs.

“It was particularly embarrassing that Mr. Hafiz Ringim was retained as the Inspector-General of Police after hosting a co-founder of the dangerous  Boko Haram sect last year,” Mr. Falana said.  “When asked to justify the meeting which was held at the police headquarters, the police chief claimed that he handed over the prime suspect to an unnamed security agency! In an interview aired on AIT later the wanted suspect claimed that he alerted the IGP, in advance, of the bombing of the police headquarters.”
