yellowpawpaw: Wanted to answer but remembered u r a man.
Leave chics alone.how do u expect them to marry down?
Men only marry down cos they want to control and I tell u rebellion cometh knocking in such scenerio.
Its simple law of nature.
Exactly my point and i have no problem with it...

It was madam buka that was tryingto prove girls dont have high standards...

Just today a senior bros was telling me of his girlfriend whio dumped his arze that he had no money
She left him to marry a chief
He moved on and remarried..

he met her some years back at the airport// same flight
She was like wow.. were we on the same flight

Hes like well.. i was on first class...

meanwhile she married into a polygamic home and she no get pikin...

sad sha

bukatyne: I think there is a disconnect...

I guess you are referring to money as 'marrying up', I was referring to the morals.

If those marrying because of money, they have no standards at all grin

Money can come and go, character remains
Well me i am not a spirit to know peoples mind
All i know is that chics will not even look at a hustler who does not have a keke napep not to talk of car
they will prefer to hustle for the ones that are already hooked leaving the managing ones alone

No be my portion to marry broke arze

Why give my sometin for free

Abi na lie i talk

bukatyne: With the type of men getting married these days,

I don't think so grin
u r on ur own....

women have always been known to marry up

What is that if not high standards...
FamilyRe: A Little Advice Needed by biolabee(m): 10:23am On Aug 05, 2013
I think you have a problem with her attitude

She feels discouraged and is lashing out as things are not working as she envisaged

Why don't you have a talk and share your visions to each other

If you are not compatible that way, you can let her go

But frankly from your write up
I still can't see the issue

My own take on your no 2

Women have extremely high standards

That is why there is a study that in 10 years time there would a dearth of marriageable men

Women marry up
Men usually marry down

You can never see a successful woman marry a socially or materially lesser man

While rich men marry women of lower social standings everyday

In madonna's word

I AM LOVING IN A MATERIAL WORLD
AND I AM A MATERIAL GIRL

This is sad..

I can relate to pure money grabbing. Innately born of greed but when people resort to diabolos tinz.. I have to hands up.

I hope for more empowerment for these women.

But I know of women who are who are bank managers, GMs, oil and gas companies, accountants and administrators who are doing well so it's not so bad.

To rise and stay to the top is not beans na

Amelian: Biolabee, it's indeed tragic sad......

The number of women being empowered, yes it's growing... But how many empowered women can sustain and Av been able to maintain what they either strive for initially to make themselves independent financially, or were given in the process of either goodwill of the government / family assistance... Am afraid, the number is not much. It's takes hard work and consistency with seriousness of purpose to maintain any form of level of successes, financially..
I interact with women on a professional level, work with them, talk with them everyday.. Everyone of them , I interact with talk about their dreams and aspirations, cause its what I do for a living ..to inspire and empower women, but along the line, of all the fine lines of how they want to be , they want to be that....then gradually turn into grumblings, sighs of how hard it is to achieve it....some become tired, docile, looking for a way out and thinking desperately of getting hooked to a rich guy, to fall back on.....while some follow up their dreams with such fierceness and dedication, that most times it makes my heart glow with. Admiration, but these numbers in this category are very few....
It's not easy to stay at the top, in whatever u r into...be it maintaining a family/ growing of business / maintains work ethics to boost up career , etc..... It's takes a lot of hardwork and precise planning and clarity.
Until a lot of women get to that level...scavenging for married rich men at all cost will reduce drastically..
So sad.

InvestmentRe: Mutual Funds In Nigeria: Please Share Your Experience by biolabee(m): 3:20pm On Aug 03, 2013
In my experience

Mutual funds do well in a boom economy

In a recession you suffer more because the managers still have to collect their fees

Put your money in a TB for now

Build up your knowlege

Do some real estate- there are good deals around if you are patient

FamilyRe: To My Dear Ladies: A Must Read. by biolabee(m): 1:46pm On Aug 03, 2013
No there will most likely be none except ra.ping and conquering

Lolz

coogar: men don't kick-start any cycle of infidelity. the power to say yes or no is with the woman. the woman having considered the cuteness, wealth and the manners of the suitor, then agrees to sleep wïth the married man. if every woman says no regardless of the pressure heaped on their shoulders, there would be no infidelity....

men are the victims - they are always at the mercy of the women except in the case of räpe - which is a crime!

and i am saying the intentions of the married man is irrelevant as he still has to wait for the decision of a woman before infidelity can be established. if women treat all the married men asking them out like they shout at bus conductors, there would be no infidelity!

i am absolving the men because women have always gotten away with playing the victim in marital infidelity? they are the culprits every time. if they don't agree to the requests of these married men, can there be infidelity?

Hmmm..

Just feel helping out in d home should be joint

No problem

devour129: if you marry a good man,he will always step up when nessecary .its not a must n no one should force it,it's just what it is
FamilyRe: Seven Surprising Mistakes In Marriages. by biolabee(m):
devour129: exactly ! Am a lady but am tired of all this 50:50 thingy.women do your work and let the men do there's.this is one of reason marriages are failing.when you marry with the mind your hubby will sweep house with you.
I dont know about percentages but not helping around in the home is not necessarily a sign of machismo

Changing the baby, feeding are all nice things fathers shd do to bond with their baby and help
Its not easy in the early months for a woman to do it all alone

Moreover these same women also work..

But please whats your point.. are marriages failing because women are working?
FamilyRe: Seven Surprising Mistakes In Marriages. by biolabee(m): 4:16pm On Aug 02, 2013
50calibre: Splitting the chores 50-50 WTF? As far as Africa is concerned, any man who even discusses splitting of chores with the wife is a foolish man.

The wife is supposed to perform all chores a 100% no questions asked, she is supposed to perform them happily and gracefully, if she's having difficulties performing them, then she should discuss hiring a help but telling your husband to come join you perform chores is a height of disrespect, I've never seen it before.
are you being sarcastic or really serious...

more from wengi J

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger on the Gunners signing players before the transfer deadline: "We are working very hard to strengthen our squad.

"I am confident. You look at many teams around us. Nothing has happened until now. This team with financial potential as well.

"At the moment the market hasn't moved a lot. Apart from Man City, nobody has done anything."
