Lol...ur choice But not just noodles, u better don't carry any foodstuff at all. They literally seized all from my Couz last week. Again...ur choice dear sugah: Biollar1, temmyo torr.
Anyways maybe discouraging people to go through Abu dhabi is to my advantage sef, make people no go corrupt the CBP's for me.
If I have to go all the way to the middle east to connect a US flight, then it has to have an advantage. And doing my POE clearance half way into my journey is one hell of an advantage.
Worse case I no go carry noodles from naija, Ramen noodles is bloody cheap there.
Simababe, they search your bag anywhere.... Infact all the times iv left the US i always see that search card in my bags cos I usually buy household items. |

See ehn... Whether to chicago or JFK ...u r going to be stamped in from Abu Dhabi cos Abu Dhabi is one of the airports outside yankee that offers CPB facility,So once u reach chicago or JFK, u will just pick ur bags and that's it. No secondary inspection again whatsoever And Yes ,ur bags will be scanned once u get to Abu Dhabi to connect to JFk or Chicago. I prefer Emirates thou. sugah: Please explain something to me. When you get to Abu dhabi POE, your bags are already checked in from Lagos for JFK or Chicago. How do you get sent to Agriculture? Do they bring out bags containing food stuff and ask the owners to proceed to Agric? I know for Atlanta, you pick up your bag at POE and re-checkin for connecting flights but I did not see my bag until I got to JFK when I went through Abu dhabi. |

Pele...congrats dear ify4charm: Thanks everyone for your help. I think my case is peculiar. Don't know if as a result of the epidural or drugs given at the hospital cos I did tear a lot and was in lots of pain. I m on pap, nsala, fluids. Using manual breast pump to stimulate though it comes out in tiny drops, which I give her to lick. Hoping to get the mothers milk tomorrow and probably see a lactation specialist . Thanks guys, it has not been easy physically and psychology. I also have a swollen feet to add to it. Labour was indeed labour, I was literally crying and after 9 hrs of contraction I was told I was just 5cm. Even to check how dilated I was so painful. My mom was still encouraging me to continue. Omo! I told her to leave me, I no fit do Hebrew woman again. Screamed for the epidural. The nurse was just taking her time to set up and call the dr. if no say we dey obodo oyinbo I wanted to give her a piece of my mind. Anyways, Seeing my lil princess made it all worth it. |

My pipu
My Couz is pregnant and desperately need to choose between Houston Northwest Medical and Oakbend Medical Centre. Was just looking like 'Lookman' when she asked me.
I intend using Oakbend cos of Ezekiel but I don't know anything about NHMC, she couldn't place d advs against d 2.
Which wud u rather advise her to go for? And yes it's a matter of choice too but she's very confused as I was too.
Many thanks |

*batts* ifyalways: Your over sabi is astonishing. Excuse me but do you know me, how did you ever arrive at your conclusion of "Knowing fully well you won't be using them" ? I still remember vividly my first post on this thread and the no response it got,I finally got some help here,I posted almost all the steps i took here up till her interview transcripts and finally getting the visa. How you just woke from your hibernation or crawled out from your cave to deduct that I really never wanted to use El Paso beats me. Moreso, You spent a great deal of time with your colour highlighting to all what not analyzing wrongly a post you neither understood nor was addressed to you, I bet if it were a newbie that asked question,You would have been too busy to reply or post the usual " It has been answered before" .
Second off, what gave you the idea that I was blaming anyone for the deductions ?
Thirdly, read that post you quoted very well. It was for people who might be desperate to get visa's ; they don't need to pre-pay hospital/doctors fees cos it won't be an advantage or disadvantage.
As per honesty et all, I leave you to your assumptions. . . Really not in the mood for two-penny-a-piece busybodies. |

Lmao! Ur choice of words ehn bigfido: So I also read about renting a car. Here's my advise to you people.
1) if you know you didn't go to a proper driving school here, please don't attempt to rent a car. You might end up presenting driving tickets and receipt of payment as your hospital receipt when you want to renew your visa.
2) do you know road signs very well? The ones written on the floor? If you don't, buy slate for kewu, and start practising it. Just be reciting it like you are learning kewu in Ile kewu.
3) Google maps.. Please learn how to use GPS very well and if you don't have Eztag please always avoid tolls. If you enter one and you see purple light, no, it's not disco light, it's gbese waiting for you in the mail box
4) speed limit in school areas... It's very important to adhere to it. If you see a school bus park and you see the brake light blinking, please just stop behind the bus.. If the bus doesn't move, don't move or overtake it o. If its there for 1hr, just open nairaland to keep yourself entertained
5) Yield. You need to learn this one very well, or else, accident. And insurance is not sere sere
6) make sure you get a proper insurance. It is better than to stammer incase anything happens.
Good luck people |
