Good evening people

Can anyone recommend any pills to buy to boost chances of conceiving naturally? For me and my husband please.

Thank you

Blendy77:

Iui is the same as sleeping with your husband to get pregnant just that in this case eggs are monitored i.e like ovulation so iui for sex selection won't wont work in this instance. If its real sex selection you want, your best bet is ivf then u pay for sex selection. Now sex selection is not cheap, Olive Branch charges as much as 7m for sex selection while Kingswill before his death told us 3.5m. You can equally gamble and just do iui or ivf for a 3rd child and accept anyone you get at the end cos for someone who has 2 boys, its up to you to kno if you want to go all the way to spend that much when others in this group are looking for just one. Since you get pregnant naturally, just focus on getting pregnant and leave the sex to God.

Ok thank you very much

@ favoredgirl,

48 hours starts counting the minute you check in and by 12 midnight that day, the first 24 hours has gone. That's why people complain of being overcharged by hospital.

Finally Dr F got to me by 10.30 am today and I had my very beautiful baby 12.25 pm.weighs 3.57 kg. So I have forgiven him and hope he changes for the better.

Yippee am a FTM and am so in love with my Angel.

Congratulation Biola1 . Please I will need all necessary info concerning the bills at oakbend and Dr E

Hello everyone . Don't know where to start as I had to exit this thread cos I had miscarriage early this year and all I read and planned for delivery actually evaporated from my head. Glory be to God for his faithfulness for performing another miracle in my life. Want to say a big thank u to firsttymum, LadyG, Justwise &Co....for their patience in running this thread. I had my visa long before I got pregnant the last time and I wrote a letter of intent to the embassy , I didn't get a reply. Didn't follow up cos I lost the pregnancy. Will write another one soon and I hope they reply. I'm back on this thread and I pray God will see me through this time.

Firsttymum, don't mind dem jare... some people feel you owe dem duty of care to accomplish their give birth in US mission! what nonsense! I keep saying to people, I got ALL info from this thread. I've been to other cities in the US bt goin to Houston was my 1st time and it was for birthing. Even every1 in my house tot I was crazy for goin on such adventure but I was fully armed and prepared. Infact they were so surprised hw I went about everytin smoothly in a completely strange land.

IGNORE anyone that comes across as nasty! U read thru dats why u av the pages to wat dey are askin, dey should do same. Even now, I still update my notebook.

Later, they will blab rubbish about clique and no clique.

Nef, u sef av tried ur best. Forget them. I remember how you and modath combed Chicago and posted all the info yet some1 will not read and be asking plenty question!

My people...devil no wan gree me enter Nairaland but God pass am. Bin trying to sign in after I gave my POE story. I got in May 17th and left June 29th.
Had my baby on the 10th of June
I used Oakbend Medical Centre and Dr E( fab as usual) and una sabi d usual bill and all. I wanted to get back to naija with United last flight (29th June), so I decided to change my return ticket from July 5th to 29th June, leaving me with just 19days to process all docs but God was super fateful.

Processed all my baby's docs in less dan a week. Only SSN took longer and it took 8working days to drop.

1. Picked up birth certificate at fort bend county and paid $23 for a copy
2. Same day, Headed straight to passport office in downtown on 1919 smith street . Took passport photograph for $17 (2 copies) directly opposite passport office in downtown. Paid $165 for expedited and was asked to come pick up ffg day.
3. Scanned baby's birth certificate to Mrs Stella with all necessary docs. I did ETC and paid $300. It arrived after 5days via FedEx
4. I called United to attach baby to my tic
5. Headed back to Naija.

Stayed with my host but left for Soulcare Concierge when my mum arrived. Make all of us no becum liability.

MARGARET OF SOULCARE CONCIERGE was awesome. I enjoyed my stay and she made us feel like home away from home. The fact that she conveys one for doc appointments and grocery shopping makes it all stress free and whole. Will def use her again.

Supa Dupa grateful to all... Omodadi( my main Pal..we sure rocked Houston together, I'm glad our ways crossed kiss)LadyG , Firsttymum, Feddy27, Happytbaby,Modath, Nefertitiram and all. I met wonderful mamas but I've forgotten their monikers and l don't want to mention their real names.

You all made my second missionary journey a successful and stress free one.

God bless us all and May we all not labor in vain over our kids in Jesus name.

Hi everyone,
On my onward journey to Alaska(since na me be the first person on this thread to go that route lol and Seattle POE experience has only been mentioned on this birthing thread once or twice lol) ... here's my POE experience

I flew emirates airline with my mum on Wednesday(7hrs to dubai, 14hrs to Seattle, 3hrs to Alaska.... shortest flight time i saw of all the airlines), got to Seattle and the line at immigration was so long and moved very slowly. I didn't book a wheelchair cos i wanted to form James bond lol. We stood for over 1hr30mins and at some point i left my mum on the line and had to find somewhere do rest my back. i was so scared, i kept praying in my mind, mum kept praying too

CBP: Hi, how's it doing?
me: great, how about yourself?
cbp: Can't complain... passports please
hands over passports to him
me: this is my mum
cbp: ok ok... so you are going to Alaska for fishing, hiking and camping?
me: no. i'm here to have my baby
cbp: * stretches over his screen to look at my belly
i moved back so he can see me
cbp: oh wow, i did not notice that. so, How pregnant are you?
me: 35weeks( praying in my mind that he shouldnt send me for secondary inspection)
cbp: why alaska though?
me: i was here earlier in the year and i saw and booked a doctor....
CBP: * he interrupted me and went on to say... mum can you scan your four finger
my mum scanned hers
cbp: switch with mum and scan your fingers
i scanned mine
cbp: husband coming in at any point on your journey?
me: no, there's so much going on at work and hes busy
cbp: too busy to take care of you?
me: Oh my, when you put it like that
cbp: * he just laughed for a while... how much do you have for this trip?
me: 19thousand USD
cbp: how much cash?
me: 8100 USD and the rest on our cards
cbp: what do you do?
me: i'm a .....
cbp: and husband?
me: hes a .....
cbp: how long do you think you will need to be here for?
me: 9weeks
cbp: well i am gonna go ahead and stamp you in until December in case you need to stay that long. But i'm sure you wouldn't want to be in Alaska in December
me: Alaska in December no
Cbp: *laughs again... you ladies have a safe trip. careful with the baby, lots of mosquitoes in Alaska
me: ok thanks.. have a good one
cbp: you too

We were sent to Agriculture, i was so sad and almost crying. My mum was telling me to keep calm...
The officer at agric asked me if i have food, i said " yeah, i have cereal, chips, doughnuts and the pear i was given on the plane( although i had cereal chips and doughnuts i was too scared to mention the other things in the bag like Egusi, pap etc, ogbono, milk, crayfish, one bowl of buka stew i booked from one mama put and carried in my luggage cos i craved it alot in naija etc)"

They scanned my bag, they were too busy focusing on the pear that they didnt search my main luggage. i opened my handbag and gave them the pear and just walked away so fast before they remember the main luggage( i was too scared) lol

As a FTM, I'm grateful to God, i'm grateful for this thread..... to think that my initial plan before i found this thread was to go as early as 5months, not declare being pregnant and stay till i put to bed, but this thread taught me that it's ok to be honest and it's not illegal to birth in the US. Y'all are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
