Old school guys never checked media. Or at least knew how to ignore all they hype and just focus and play. I think the bright lights finally got to the Wolves, and they are overthinking things.

Never imbibe the news media hype, the same guys who found a reason to crown you the next MJ will realease another analysis to demote you once you lose. Like JVG says, you are never as good as they say you are, you are never as bad as they say you are.

I dare say it would be interesting to see a battle between Kyrie/Luka and Jaylen/Tatum. Granted one set is technically a back court and the other isnt , but you still have 2 duos that dictate the offense. Im a bit worried though, it might turn onto a glorified 3-spamming series

In the Lakers series MPJ showed up big, this allowed denver to stay within reach before Jokic and Murray two man game closed things out.
This is why role players stepping up matters.

Did he really show up better in playoffs than the regular season, or did the charmin soft lakers "defense" make MPJ look like 6th man of the year?

It was 20pts with 10 and a half minutes in the 3rd.

They're just an unserious team. They think everyone is the Lakers. They go on these nasty ass extreme slumps that I don't even understand.

Who blows a 20pt lead at home?

A guy like MPJ has now become a spot up shooter. All these guys now do is shoot. 6'10 no handles, no post game. Just a spot up shooter, once your 3 doesn't fall you're useless cos you're not a 3 level scorer. Which is a travesty for a player of his potential especially on that contract

Man, I circled back to the game at some point and I swore I saw a double digit lead for the Nuggets. And went back to sleep, so Im shook this morning. Had to be an epic choke job, lol. I did warn you about MPJ, the guy man has not lived up to his potential in some years now and stays injured a lot

Now you see why I was so pissed with dem Lakers and Lebron, they slept through their series mehn, I know it!!! They mailed that series in, including Lebron. That should at least have been a game 6 or 7

I have one advice for the Pacers. Keep the lead above 15, not because it guarantees you the W but you don’t want the refs to have any influence. If this game gets close, say 5-7 points, the Pacers would have to pray hard because the refs would take over.

You guys have rested too long, and knicks have sharpened the Pacers some. I think pacers forward momentum will give you guys problems

Last night game just look like a sold game to me tbh.

Refs read body language per game and whistle accordingly. Wolves set the tone, and never let up. If you set the tone early, refs will judge you that way. Nuggets tried to superstar themselves into winning a series, and they met a young team foolish enough to be fearless. They have given these guys confidence as even KAT is feeling abdul jabarrish

Or you can credit the wolves for bothering the nuggets early and refusing to fold early on the game. This is the same playbook the Thunder need vs Doncic. Dont let him get comfortable, most of today's league superstars have no 4thq stamina if you press them early. Doncic will gas out and drop a dud.

OKC is overthinking this game, Dallas D is not as stellar as they are making it look

This is the most excitement I think I have seen for NBA playoffs in a while. There are like 4 teams that could win this ring this year, and best of all, none of the usual superstars!

Imagine burning 2 important timeouts in the final minutes of a tough close game to remove your starting guards (Doncic/ Kyrie) because they are defensive liabilities and if you win the possession, you burn another timeout to get both players back in.

I had even forgotten about JVG sef. Birds of the same feather. I don't know what they aim to achieve going that route. As a wise man once said insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting a different result.

Because thats how they got where they are. They were never skilled enough to play high level basketball. And they arent the most brilliant basketball minds. Their road to success was outworking the more talented. Unfortunately they over apply this life philosophy to basketball. For example I cannot explain how much man love JVG had for Chuck Hayes, on the strength of the guys hustle, with 0 talent It does work, until you meet a talented and motivated team.


Lets see if Tibs can adjust, because in the past, neither of them have been able to change game plans. Once the opposing coach figures them out, series is over! Their only adjustment is to hustle harder
