Christianity EtcRe: When You Die, Don't Go Towards The Light!!! by birdman(m): 8:08pm On Mar 16, 2023

Don't confuse secrete of satanist in movies with their evil agendas as life secrets. Doctrines of devils. Full of lies and deception.

Yes we all in Nairaland and Nigeria in large numbers will still believe in Jesus Christ till eternity to the pains of the devil your master.

Now see the prooves of Jesus christ the Lord who dies and resurrected. If you say a man is alive, one needs to see his actions and him doing things even if you can not see him. Jesus is alive and still does the thing He is well know for, Healing, Giving Life and Abudant Life:

Watch and become a follower of Jesus:

These are few examples of real provable events that have dates and locations that anyone can go and verify. Real life. Go and verify.

There are thousands of them. These are how good the Light is to ordinary people like you and me.

I pray you receive the Light in Jesus name.
I wont have seen this is they didnt quote my name grin . Very moving and thank you for sharing!

But your guy is notorious for this big superstar thing nau. He was the one openly pushing for Kyrie.

The analysts are one thing, they're only doing their Jobs for clicks and views. Lebron who is an actual player should know better. I mean the only reason why we are not hearing people call for Pelinka's neck is because so far the trade has worked else we would have been hearing more subliminal shots
I didnt hear anything from him openly. I think he likes to play politician, and never says more than he needs to just in case. Everything else is just noise. There is no way he and his crew have forgotten how Kyrie handles the last exit. I dont think Lebron ever wanted Kyrie - but he wasnt going to come out and say so. The one thing he has always insinuated is needing knock down shooters.

I agree with most of what you said because he has been injured more than he has been on the court. However, the idea that the best player naturally translates into leadership, while great, is not necessary true. AD has been a leader from his high school day to college but I don't think he wants to lead in the NBA. I feel like he just wants to play basketball and not worry about the other aspects of the game like leadership. I think that mentality stems from being out of so many games it has made him mentally fatigued.
He likes to lay low, thats for sure. Hard to do in LA. Na Ja Morant go fit LA well well

Roland17:
I have been reading about trades and coaching since this run started with no mention of AD's role. Don't get me wrong, Palinka did an exceptional job with this trade, especially with DLOs return because he has developed his game and looks more mature. But make no mistake about it, AD is the focal point of this resurgence.
AD should be the focal point of the Lakers, period. But its no one's fault he is injured all the time. The leadership position is his, but he has to take it. No one is giving it to him - without Lebron heroics, the Lakers would be at the bottom of the WC. Give Lebron his dues. So if folks are not talking enough about AD, thats on him, or more precisely his injuries.

Same way everyone skipped Kawhi while he was load managing. PGIII has more credit for this teams success, even if Kawhi is supposed to be the focal point. I think you feel like Lebron is getting more credit than AD for Lakers resurgence, well that is the truth. AD has been in street clothes a looong time
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 2:43pm On Mar 15, 2023
Roland17:
That AD is just as important in this resurgence as other factors (trade, coaching and Ajala’s absence).
Was anyone ever in doubt of that? Everyone I know has been waiting for AD to takeover for 3 years now. Lebron looks like papa smurf out there lol.

Funny enough, he reminds me of how Pierce used to play towards the end of his career. Like an old fox trying to trick his way to the rim grin Pierce was strong and could have played longer, but I get the feel he wasnt trying to learn any new tricks.

I will start taking you Ajala stans serious when you acknowledge what you are trying to hide… You giys side step the obvious and I just laff.
AD just posted 35/17 and is pretty much leading a dead Lakers to the playoffs.

The Lakers are not dead. They just set a franchise record with 15 3PT in the first half, which was the main thing that propelled them to the W.
You have to throw away wins like this. 15 3s before the half is a fluke, and wont happen again. In fact it can work against the team, because you play lazy the rest of the game and carry it over into the next game. But they have a good coach, so I hope they can ride this emotional wave and string 2 -3 wins per loss.
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 2:28pm On Mar 15, 2023

Lakers would be looking in hindsight that it was a blessing in disguise they didn't get him
And I was glad when they couldnt get him. A team with Lebron/AD needs a deep roster, not another superstar. The Lakers roster would have been depleted to make the trade, and Lakers would have missed even the play ins. How would they have competed vs even the timberwolves?

It always bothers me how tv analysts keep hyping names without looking at fit - its like, do they actually not know what they are talking about, or are they playing dumb to generate ratings.

Like I said earlier, there was no big superstar in he Laker's trade, just pieces that can work under a smart coach.
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 2:23am On Mar 15, 2023
Hard to keep a 35pt lead in this league. I had already written off the lakers this season, but the team is clicking. I had written Laker off because Lebron led teams typically fall apart if he is absent. Partly its the way the team is constructed around him, partly its that everyone starts to unconsciously rely on Lebrons greatness to bail them out and they get mentally lazy.

Question now is, can Lakers make it to 6th seed and avoid the playins. The way the west is shaping up, I think 1-4 are pretty much set

Lol. You see am? You say there was no game changer in the trade. So Vanderbilt hasn't made them better defensively?
There was no superstar in that trade ala westbrook or other big name. These are role players. Including Vanderbilt. The Lakers are winning because they are playing like a team, instead of relying on 3 superstars. Even Reaves is balling. The biggest MVP on this team right now is the coach.

See that was my initial problem with all these GM types, trying to get big names and build a big 4 or some nonsense like that. The league is too advanced for that. That westbrook experiment shoulda never happened, and it took them a few weeks in oct/nov/dec to start clicking. Now they fighting for playins when they should be like #3 or #4 seed. But it is what it is. Lakers have like 3 weeks to tighten rotation and get ready for play offs.

Guys Lakers won the transfer trade .

No cap 🧢.. after the transfer the team is now feared .. but Lakers need to work on their 3rd quarter... Too much lagging
They have also been getting better under the new coach. Even before the trades, they were going on streaks. I think people make too much of the trade - there was no game changer in those trades

You people underrate Dray too much and it wants to make me mad. But I'll say this, without Dray, the Warriors would have only 2 championships. I would have said 0 but the KD Warriors were just too stacked to feel the absence of Dray. Dray is the engine of that team and Kerr knows it. That's why he keeps getting away with all the atrocities he's been committing.
I have heard all kinds of talks.
He knows where to give the superstars the ball...
He understands the rhythm of the game...
He does the little things...
Etc Etc...

Yet the guy man dey average 7pts, 7 rebounds as a PF on a team that has weapons that should free him u p.

What you guys dont realize is you what you are describing exists in many other power forwards. And there are at least a dozen better PFs in the league now than Draymond. They just didnt have the opportunity to play with an all time great like Curry. See ehn, Curry is quiet, and sells himself short, and it makes him look less than he really is. At the same time, it makes his teammates look bigger than they really are.

Was Klay really better than say Beal?
Was Barnes really that good a small forward?

Why then are you ascribing all this to Draymond, just for being lucky to be in the right organization with an unselfish all time great?

Personally, I love the the fact that the Grizzlies and Warriors hate each other, we need more of these in the league. Can you imagine what a Warriors vs Grizzlies series would look like again? Not necessarily about the results but the intensity.
I miss watching buildup to series where both teams genuinely hate each other and will go hard before during and after the game. I don’t want to watch a live fest during games, especially during the post seasons
With that being said, the Grizzlies need to scratch the surface, they are not anywhere remotely close to the Warriors. The Warriors are a team I respect for what they have achieved!
And I hope it leads to playoff games where scoring is <110 points. Otherwise, its not watchable

So just right after Dray talks sh*t about Brooks and the Grizzlies, he gets blown out by them without Ja. Can't make this thing up grin
The guy who makes the warriors run never talks. Dre is nowhere near as good as people rate him. On any other team, he would be a bench player

How won't players sit out games here and there? Lol. Be comparing today's game with the 70s and 80s and 90s. Abi you think the pace of those eras can be compared to that of this era? Those years that guys played at a pedestrian pace. You could literally be walking on the court. Look how fast the game is today. Guys are always running.
No, pls dont say this. That was a grown man's game back then. The size and way they played make it look deceptively slow, but it wasnt. Go time those Larry Bird jumpers. He looked slow, could barely jump. But time it and see where he releases from, and compare it with KD.

Speed is not the most important thing in a game. I would argue its not even skill. Its the grown man mindset which is lacking today. Outside of a few shining stars like Lebron, Durant, Curry, Jokic, Embiid, Giannis, we got stars that are OK with missing half the season just because they dont feel too good. Kawhi, AD etc all skilled, but soft like charmin. Soft. Dont care how fast they are, they soft. If they dropping 40pts on your @ss at half time and get to 70, you soft. Trifling as well. Rockets Im looking at you angry

I think we have seen enough of the Lakers this year. There are more interesting stories, from more serious actors on stage. We will see you guys next year.

Ja Morant needs to slow it down! He is heading the wrong path outside the court and will get burnt someday soon if he doesn’t stop. Kid wants to forcefully identify with the “Thug life”. God I hope someone can help him see otherwise because his dad is obviously not helping.
Lebron had that odd crew he used to roll with when he got drafted. Those kids looked like a gang, looking unruly. Fast forward 20 years and all those kids were really just kids, looking for opportunity.

Ja Morant was doing the same as a rookie, and I assumed he would grow up at some point. Apparently not, this fool is looking to become a parable. smh

He said it popped literally and kept playing. I can respect that certain injuries you know the deed is done and you might as well keep playing and try to get the win. I can't fault him for that

I think the Lakers if they make the playoffs are a threat. I thought they were a threat before the trade and still a threat after the trade. When I look at all their potential matchups who really can an AD and Lebron duo not beat besides the Clippers for some reason and maybe the Suns. They for some inexplicable reason do not match well with those two. The rest I don't know that they're not scared of the Lakers. Even Denver
yeah, something about the clippers always trips up Lakers since Lebron joined. Maybe Ty Lue knows something. But Ive seen clippers flog them with even no kawhi, no pg3

In hindsight Lebron continuing to play after that foot injury midway into the Mavs game looks to have backfired. Really sucks because coming back from the death like that told me the Lakers are definitely making the playoffs

Shey Rich Paul was chatting megedefegede about how AD would have beat the Raptors if he was in Giannis shoes that year. Well time to show and prove. Hold the fort
Yeah, the amount of work he had to do to score those 4th Q points, I knew there would be repercussions. The Lakers can make playoffs, but even with Lebron can they beat the top 4 teams 4 games out of 7? I dont think so.

Well sha, lets see if Lakers can get into playoffs without Lebron.

I could barely watch the all star game, and at some point I just decided it was a waste of time. Feels like a gimmick at this point, like NBA Jam. Ditto with the regular games. I like the top 4 in the west and east, assuming Suns move up the standings, and hopefully we see some real bball come playoffs.

I hate to say it steady986, but I dont see Lakers even making the playoffs right now. I an willing to be proven wrong.
