Eruditor: I won’t blame him so far. The whole team just looks somehow. Lacking leadership and at some moments disinterested.
I think if they don’t close up this 15pt gap by 3rd Quarter they would give up and lose the 4th easily. Na mind game at this point. OKC owns this game. They need to stop thinking about next season |

I hope wade comes back next season. I am impressed with the poise of this young philly team. Heat did everything they could. Wade gassed out trying to make a run. And philly still kept that double digit lead |

A40: It's difficult to tell. The Pacers are not winning on the back of their relative youth. What I can say was perhaps underestimated was how well these Pacers match up with the Cavs. They won the regular season contests comfortably.
The main thing ailing the Cavs is their lack of secondary scoring options. With the vets they had guys that could pick up the slack when LeNomad sits. Wade would not shy away from the moment and neither would IT. In a game the Cavs are chasing do you expect Larry Nance or Rodney Hood to pick up the slack?
You and I know LeNomad would not stick around to find out if he can win with these guys.. I would like to see LBJ on the west coast for a change, hopefully not Rockets. Durant's legacy will always be tarnished for that punk move. LBJ needs to know that if he wants to be classed at the MJ/Kobe level, he cant go to a team as good as Rockets. But I have a feeling he will gut it out in cleveland. He is already an old man, playing past his time. Look at Wade, Melo...those guys have maybe 1,2 seasons left? |

A40: Obviously for the long term. However you can't seriously be thinking of going to war with the West this year with Nance. Hood and Clarkson.
I think all hopes of competing with Golden State or Houston were destroyed the minute the trade was made It depends on how those 3 adjust. You dont need superstar points from them. Just activity on defense and 4 or 5 baskets on offense |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 5:58pm On Apr 21, 2018 |
A40: Thank God you're seeing it. I believe Game 1 was his worst showing but he gets a pass for Game 3.
This is why I believed the mid season trade was a bad idea, guys like Wade , IT ,Crowder would not shrivel this badly in crucial moments like these. I don't think anybody besides Kevin Love scored a bucket in the last 9mins of the game for the Cavs. Lebron has been nil on defense which is essentially negating his offensive output! I've always seen him as an average to poor one on one defender but you couldn't deny he at least showed effort. These days he can't even be bothered
I think Sixers would be his best landing spot. That team should be a problem for 5 years at least. I dont think it would have been any better without the trade. The league is so young now that cavs would be down 3-0 right now - pacers are too young, too fast. Hood, Nance, Clarkson are still having playoff jitters. If they made half the gimme shots they took yesterday, results would be different. As tempting as it is to want older vets, this youth movement is the only way Lebron gets a shot even in the east. Lue needs to figure a way to rest LBJ while leaving potent offense on the floor. I think the decision to play LBJ without any rest in the second half was a bad mistake. |

Useless 8th seeded team.
Wolves are a better matchup. They got behind early, once rockets feel loose, those 3s rain down |

SmooshCHN: He's having a bit of an identity crisis. He has always been super nice since his rookie year and after he moved to GSW, he's been trying to fit into the villain role and he's doing a bad job at it. He's still super nice on the inside but if the media and fans keep coming at you everyday over a decision you made to create a successful part for yourself, you can't afford to be soft and let them get into your head. KD is still the real KD (not the snake some are calling him). However, this has very little to do with his ejections. The refs have been outrageous especially this season and many of his complaints are legit and the ejections aren't just worth it if you still watch him play. He's no Rasheed Wallace those who make that comparison are the blog boys who won't stop beating him for joining the Warriors. Giannis almost beat up the ref yesterday. It just shows how human these guys are. KD will be good. KD has never been nice. Durant has always had a mean, mischevious weirdo personality that he hides under being the nice and chill tall black guy. The pressure of moving to GS and just the fact that he is growing older and cares less means you are seeing more of the real Durant. But is what he did here that bad? WOuld Kobe get the same kind of heat? The way refs allow folks to get molested sometimes, you have to call them out. I do wish it was a coach that did this instead of Durant, because nowadays these refs are superstars in their own eyes. They may try to take revenge in another game. |

Eruditor: I am a man of the spirit and this your wish is not from God.
I thereby reject it fully. Amen. so you would rather he re-injure just to get a shot at the ring. anyhow, i tend to like players more than I like teams. However much I may yab Curry, I don't want to see another Derrick Rose type of situation. I still feel like Curry is owed a significant payday - at least stay healthy until you collect. |

Eruditor: Zaza is the one that annoys me the most but it is what it is. We always get drama like this when something huge is in the offing.
See Curry, the consummate class-act. Went to shake McGee before limping off so he won’t feel bad.
I almost cried yesterday. Could not even sleep. wao. just googled it. I saw the news flash earlier and I thought it was the old injury. Man, that is rough. McGee cant be feeling too good right now. If its 4 weeks, he could be back by the time they really need him, deep in the playoffs. Or maybe shut it down for the year rather than risk re-injury, just like Kawhi |
