Roland17:Nope. Lue won that ring first year as a coach, and he went toe to toe with the warriors all star coaches. Brad is brilliant, no doubt, but nothing like Lue - even doc rivers says it |
cavs got robbed. At least they got a Jae Crowder, whom I despise but have to respect his physicality...fits in with the Cavs. But then again I look at Kyrie without and with Lebron - Im not so sure the Celtics made out too good either. Can Kyrie make a team better? Is he good enough to risk team chemistry IT had with this team? I understand this takes the albatross of paying IT off the table, butthis is a gamble, imo. I would like to see how Hayward does next to Kyrie - if it works, they would be ECF contenders easily. But I have a feeling last playoffs has put a shine on Kyrie that is not completely legit. Anyhow I look forward to the matchups!!! Good thing I never really hated IT. Hard to hate heart, 'na mean? how does it feel rooting for Kyrie....loool,gotta hurt a bit ![]() |
Roland17:the rats always come out when it gets hot. anyhow its better when these guys come out and show who they really are. how are you going to use family connect just so you can peddle a story you yourself admit "its not really what it looks like". SAS is a disappointment. but issokay |
Donlittle:true dat. just packed up from miami like that I realize lbj and co are a new generation of players. They go after the money first, and you know what, Im not sure its the wrong thing. Imagine old men making billions of the sweat of your youth, while you spend your old age flashing useless rings...lol. That why im not mad at kyrie either. Get yours while you can!!! |
Lots of stuff floating around about this peculiar Kyrie business. I thought I'd look for a journalist that actually knows these guys well...yall take a listen. Sounds plausible to me - bottom line, the owner Gilbert can really not be relied on to spend the money to build a championship team. which means LBJ is hesitating about staying in cleveland. which means kyrie sees no reason to be there either, and would rather not play little brother role https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P03iesxMCjQ |
Donlittle:on nairaland? or elsewhere I think when lbj gets over the initial shock, he is going to see this for what it is. A 25 year old man trying to make a name for himself out of the shadow of his 33 year old brother. Man's gotta do what he gotta do |
is there a way to block someone individually? why am i seeing repeated ravings over a rookie in meaningless SUMMER LEAGUE games. bykebyke, stfu and get off lonzo's jock. for real ![]() wtf... |
SmooshCHN:say what? swaggy p? lol |
Arccangel:There is only one way, and its not GO this, or daddy that, or apostle whomever. I think many genuine Christians get lured into seeking the easy way out, and fall prey to control by powerful personalities. Remember that the same Jesus that commanded legions of angels washed his disciples feet, not as a ritual for everybody to see in church, but as an instruction of how leaders and shepherds are supposed to be among the flock. If there is any takeaway from these stories, it is to develop and be sure of your personal faith even while fellowshipping with other believers. So that when you see error, you can either correct in love if need be, or leave silently in love if you want to avoid strife. Above all else, dont let anyone guilt you into giving beyond your faith level. Whatever you do outside of your faith is a waste of your time and resources. If all you can give is 1buck every offering (I have been there), stay there and grow your faith by staying in the Word until you can give 10 bucks, then give 10 bucks. Whatever principle gets you from1 to 10 bucks, will get you to 100bucks. But its going to be your faith primarily...regardless of how many shepherds try to guilt you into giving sacrificial seed ![]() ok let me stop b4 i get pissed |
Decale:Ameeeeeen!!! Who said superteams are not good for the NBA? I havent seen this much excitement in offseason roster moves since...ever! |
SmooshCHN:where is roland17. the celtics offseason is looking bad imo |
Donlittle:noth'n wrong wit dat ![]() |
lolawilliams:I hear you. But to lebrons point, for every nba player, there is at least a thousand really good ballers who will never go anywhere. The odds are way better if you are a scientist or engineer. And this is why I will always be an lbj fan...the amount this guy has donated to his own community's education is astounding...I am not sure I or most people have that kind of giving heart. In other news, Im still waiting to see what cavs do. I saw one news somewhere where kyrie was traded to the suns. Thank God it was just rumor ![]() |
lolawilliams:If players can make more from these billionaires, Im all for it. Btw Currys payout is partly because he was on a crappy contract for so long, given how much he meant to the franchise. Considering his patience and maturity in letting Klay and everyone else get their payday, this deal is a good reward. Also sends a message that the warriors will treat their players right. I dont know that i can say that about rockets |
WC is loading up...some scary looking teams right now, but I dont see anything that shakes the warriors. Maybe Houston if Harden lets CP3 run the offense...but this is an older cp3. Cant believe Spurs missed out on cp3 and george...its to late to sell Aldridge while high...just see what you can get for him lol |
oh yesssssss ![]() |
SmooshCHN:good stuff. unripe banana to fruit festival ![]() I realized by game 2 that as brilliant as the warriors were, cavs werent playing the type of defense you usually see on LBJ led teams. Im going to leave this one at lebron's door. This is something he should have addressed as team leader. |
i have fully recovered from this loss Once again, Lebron let down by the studs that were supposed to be helping. Love just never really got going. JR played like a dog etc. If not for Kyrie it would be a sweep. But hats off to dem warriors, definitely a team for the ages. Im not shedding any tears for lebron and company btw - they got millions and kardashians to return to ![]() if im not able to keep up with this board, i hope everyone is in one piece or better next season. this thread is the only reason im still on nairaland. there are some good peeps here! |
Ewuro4:yes ooo...next season man ![]() |
People are shameless mehn!! In spite of the obvious, blatant favoritism from the refs, you still have some folks here jawing. You graze someones head while going for the ball. Flagrant foul. You punch someone in the nuts after whistle blew. Jumpball. Chai! Even in Naija we dont cheat like this. If we got half the superstar calls these divas are getting, our duo would be scoring 50 each every night. That why Lebron was perplexed and asked Durant, why are you talking crazy?? Some of these warriors think they are tough and real ballers. They forget that they are playing a brand of basketball the league office likes, so the rules are skewed for them, and against more traditional teams like cavaliers. They think its because they are that good...shiorr. And they shamelessly grin on court as the refs switch technical from Green to Kerr to keep the crybaby in the game! Is all good tho, but i must ask so called warriors fanson nairaland, why you guys talking crazy all of a sudden. Why you acting like you d first to cop a ring. Calm d f down |
lolawilliams:Lol |
Crushing loss indeed. We been here b4 tho. Amazing season, amazing run. Stay strong cavs nation |
I had positive vibes about this game, but I dont like the crappy play by this team. I need to see how the cavs come out in the third, but it looks like outside kyrie, lbj, tristan and shump, everyone else is just cowering |
Lifestone:hahahaha...u no code bros. they should have done hidden camera experiment, see which one these ladies will pick between struggling guy, ok guy and ready made when talk becomes action. Best believe 99% are flocking towards the money |
Very good game in spite of the blowout. If Kerr had not coached this game cavs would have been in the mix until the end. I have to say Durant exceeded expectations. This is what we in houston were hoping tmac would become but he never really developed that takeover-the-game mentality For my cavs, they need to go back to their regular identity. Instead of running up and down with warriors, uglify and slow the game down. Take 3s when wide open, in pace. If we still lose, we at least know the best team beat us. Did anybody see lebron panting like antelope father time kwa |
A40: your yoruba sayings mehn...Seriously tho...forget all the jibber jabber. Here is the bottomline. Every era has a superstar. MJ, kobe, now lebron. Except for MJ that wisely handed over at the top, father time ensures everyone superstar hands over to the next generation. KD has spent about a decade in the league, so its definitely his time to be the alpha in the NBA. Lebron's only job this series is to delay his own demise, and deny KD the mantle for another year. I said it last year, and it is more obvious this year, that Lebron already peaked physically. At this point he is a much better jump shooter because he has to be. Lets see if he is crafty enough to steal one from KD. I know Kobe lasted longer in the league than he should have primarily because of bball iq and good roleplayers. That is where Lebron is now. I am not missing any game....baton is about to be handed over...either that or a coup plot ![]() |
Donlittle:You do it for sure. Like LoJ said, it gives you a decent shot. But aldridge is not the dynamic scoring big we thought he could be. I swear Diaw is more valuable to the spurs than Aldridge. Spurs need another dynamic scorer who can mix it up in the paint if need be, draw some fouls and spread the floor for spurs numerous 3pt specialists. Aldridge was supposed to be this guy, but he really doesnt fit quite right. If he is not scoring, its like he has no effect |
joephemzyz:So you are with the other sinners. Judgement day is at hand ![]() |
Donlittle:Cp3 will fit the spurs like a glove. It wont be enough though |
joephemzyz:dis man u scarce gaaan... abeg add ur prayers on top...your king lebron needs epp |
SmooshCHN:ok sir! |
lolawilliams:i like it tho. i hope they get overconfident again...maybe say something crazy on the podium and insult the cavs... |

Which way is now the right way!? So somebody cannot go to church again because you are afraid of what the pastor or members may be doing? I'm just really tired and scared. This kind thing dey kill faith
