kilode100: Nonsense story.
I did my homework @ the express too, public transport... Yet, I ended up at the brothel.
All these Attention seekers should cut me some slacks.
I already know where that girl will end up.. What's wrong is wrong biko!
Her Madam is maltreating her, and some overgrown ewu here is scratching their anus and smelling to see if it stinks.
Shame on all who appreciated this risky, Attention seeking rubbish. You did this and ended up in a brothel ? That means you were not concentrating on your books or you are Igi Iwe Eso Odo. |

hotdi: U are right man OP, the Pastor may have taking it too far but he is not totally wrong. As for office stigmatization, I also experience it but I didn't take it personal, because even my mum wouldn't let me rest. It is a societal thing, especially from this part of the world (Naija), the calculation is once u take up a good job, get married because ur retirement day start counting from the day of your appointment. I don't think you want to be facing children upbringing especially paying school fees after retirement. That is their point As for respect, you should respect those that are married because, believe me, IT IS NOT EASY AT ALL.......L. They deserve it! When you sight a Married man/woman, it should inspire you because it is a step ahead of you. And you should aspire to take that bold step because it is a step in the right direction. Even the Bible affirms it. As for people who decided not to marry at all your choice, no offence, Paul the Apostle affirms it too, but immorality has to be out of it too Good one form you boss. |

deeptesting: I am married but separated you need to see the treatment i was accorded in Church. The pastor called out all the men to wait for further discussion on an issue and i joined the crew as a man who is above youthful age.. Low and behold they separated us, single men, separated or divorced and held their meeting and never called put to put us on the know on the outcome as promised.
So i assumed their definition of a 'man" is that which is married and living with his wife and children.. Well, life is too short to hang on to the unnecessary so i quit the church.
Now searching for a new place where Jesus Christ the non discriminator is present. I think the reason why your pastor had to separate you guys is that living with a woman is not easy. For a man to be living with a woman means that the man is very tolerant . Living with a woman is tantamount to living with a mad person(No offence). The strong skills used to endure and maintain a relationship with a woman for years can be required to make decision in the Society because it requires a lot of intelligence to stay under a roof with a woman for years. |

Laredojohn: As I will say there is no late comer in getting married, everyone's life is different, we can't use others race to run ours...nice one op Dey there dey deceive yourself. This should be coming from the ones that already have a child. What is the essence of the child you give birth to at the age of 45. No late comer in marriage but there is late comer in child delivery especially if you are a woman. |

dearpreye: Ours isn't a normal society. Nigerians and their needless busybody in other people's matters is so annoying.
Whether or not we want to admit it, getting married isn't the most important thing in life.
Nigeria is a weird society and if you insist on being great, then you risk being misunderstood.
I'm so busy with my life that I hardly have enough time to bother myself with when an adult will get married.
It's even worse with the single ladies. Nigerian society has already stereotyped them as irresponsible.
Married people are some of the most miserable folks on the earth.
Just get on with your life. Let the lousy folks do their talking. "getting married isn't the most important thing in life" but having a successor is extremely important. You know how how Celeb row now, baby mama things. It is not compulsory you get married but you need to have a child of your own. |
