But the same man once wrote to the Vice President that he was only a supervising or coordinating vp while the President was away.

The man had better reply the query because if him try shake table many of his backers go enter trouble while Kyari go stay put as the key man of the president wey him be
That one dey sha my guy... These are just the beginning of the 2023 games reason I said shots fired! If this is true, then it's about to become open season for Tinubu's boys!

Now you know why a President with approved list of ministers would decide to delay their swearing in and rather work with advisers and P.As for months.... The honeymoon has ended for some of the key political figures in this country
Mr. President is reviewing some key offices of his first term.

Eyo
Fowler
Obla

Kyari is the chief of staff... Correspondence with the president goes through him.
Yes but he doesn't have the powers to sack nor query any administrative staff directly employed by the president.

I personally feel it's time for some tinubu boys to begin to dance though... The game for 2023 coupled with all the intrigues just started officially if this letter is true!

in administrative law the chief of staff can write on behalf of the president and this letter is either fake or improperly written ,abba kayari ought to have expressly state that he is directed by the president to write.the president will not write a query to anybody and sign it perosnally
Boss an official letter such as this, even if he was directed by buhari to write it, can only be signed by buhari. He signing it makes it null and void and unbinding because he doesn't have any powers under the law to sign it.

If the letter is real then clearly he must have gotten clearance approval and directives from Buhari who is the appointing authority of chairman FIRS. Abba Kyari couldn't have written the letter without Buhari's approval..
I however have doubts about the authenticity of the letter though.. The way it looks.. Maybe its because its a copy and not the original though..
I disagree my friend.
If the letter is genuine, Such a letter must bear the seal of the president and only be can signed by him not his chief of staff.

No matter the approval the chief of staff got, he signing that letter makes it null and void! He only has powers over the presidential staff at the state house
PoliticsRe: Abba Kyari Queries Tunde Fowler Over Tax Collections by bishopkay: 3:49pm On Aug 18, 2019
Shots fired! But on the other Hand, who and what gave Abba kyari the powers under our laws to query the head of a government agency?

The office of the chief of staff is tantamount to that of a PA with absolutely no administrative powers attached so what gave Abba kyari the locus standi to query the firs boss?

54,000,000 can empower 54 Youths in my village with 1 million Naira each!

I’m no way a hater but I believe In helping one another, even animals help themselves when feeding.
When you have your money, go and empower them. Even Jesus said the poor will always remain amongst you!

There will always be poor people in this world take note!

Gbam, Na real ozuo, you have time engaging some posters on here, when you tell them that the useless contraption foisted on us by lugard called Nigeria is not working, they will call you names, l am happy with the judgement, let the company go after the Eurobond, if this will lead to balkanisation of this useless contraption Called Nigeria, so be it, Nigeria is not working because it is headed by a useless demented scallywag belch by a village witch, it is better to balkanise the country into different regions than continue with this nonsense, most of the people posting on here are also suffering from the endemic hardship across the country. Nigeria is the current headquarters of extreme poverty, 6th most miserable country on earth and also a country where 21 states has been declared unsafe for western visitors.

I left Nigeria years ago but my whatsapp, email etc is full of request from different family members, friends and relatives who are dying of hunger and starvation daily in Nigeria, l am heartbroken for them l try to send money as much as I can to all of them but I can't solve all their problems and that is why I am pained to read daily of what Nigeria has turned into.

The country is dead completely and beyond redemption except the status quo changes or else Nigeria is doomed forever but zombies and patriotic citizens will disagree with you and me but they are trapped in that hell of a country grin
You couldn't have said it better! Every week in Nigeria I spend a minimum 20k to carry me not because I eat the whole 20k, I don't even ball but because I have a whole lot of dependants to take care of. Today it's school fees tomorrow it's pocket money and feeding money. These are not requests from my immediate family yet oo.

All this then some brain dead bastards come here and expect me to worship buhari! God punish all of them!

Your hatred for the country is so intense, I am sure you wish for the country to be nuked, with you and your family inside, just because of hatred.

Why should the Nigerian government be subservient to British courts. That's an insult to all Nigerians irrespective of tribe or religion. Who ever signed away Nigeria's sovereignty should be shot. At worst there are other international bodies that handles disputes between countries. Does it make sense for a British court to arbitrate a case between Britain and Nigeria?

If your hero agreed to dash a British company $850 as you alleged ( which to me is a lie), why didn't he give them before he left office? How can he agree to dash someone money for no work done or goods supplied and hope the next person will pay it?

I wish Nigeria was like Iran, you seize our $9 billion, we seize your assets and any British ship near the gulf of Guinea.
Shebi, after trying shit with Iran, they have agreed to return the oil tanker seized after Iran seized a British tanker in return.
I know you don't have sense and normally I don't respond to fools but with you I'd make an exception.

You just wrote trash and because you think this is a blind forum you can come here to show case your foolishness huh? Just like your certificate less fraud of a master. What do you know about international trade laws? If the court which decided on this issue didn't have jurisdiction, Nigeria would have never honored the suit which led to all this.

Since you ask why did GEJ's government not pay the money settled out of court, I'd respond with a suiting reply to such a foolish question. Why did the election rigging rugarist not reject the Paris refunds? Why did he not reject the repatriated Abacha loot even after claiming abacha never stole a dime? He should have sent the money to obasanjo or Gej because their governments initiated the moves. So you benefit from the estate of a benefactor but refuse his liabilities?

Now to answer your question albeit foolish, You think being a president gives you unfettered access to approve a payment just like that? These things take time and process which his government no longer had and which I'm very sure buhari was notified about on the hand over notes he was given. He as normal with him simply dumped it as he was only interested in the name "President". The time line for the process began and Nigeria was not on the table courtesy buhari pulling out of the arrangements and asked to proceed to court (go and read up this case and how buhari has handled it so far). Government is a continuous process and buhari goofed big time in this. However I'm not surprised... He's been a failure all along and am I surprised you his supporter Is also this dumb? No... After all Like birds like they say, flock together and for the records, you can relocate to Iran and you can also get nuked with your family too while at it.

Read and develop yourself, you won't agree. Ozuo!

I remember this case and the GEJ's government then opted for an out of court settlement. The arrogant bastard rigging rugarist came in and as usual threw everything he didn't understand away without asking for details forgetting government is continuum

Now Nigeria would pay for his foolishness very heavily! Imagine an out of court settlement which would have seen us pay $850m in tranches now a judgement debt worth $9b in whole payment. And to imagine one very uneducated fool went there with the APC blame game manuscript!

Does he think the UK'S judicial system is like ours here which lack merit and can throw away a case with substance for a filing technicality? They think because they win cases here using the we vs them syndrome they can go replicate that outside the country? Bunch of inept fools!

CrimeRe: Nigerian Soldiers Kill Three Police Officers, Injure Others – Official by bishopkay: 5:58am On Aug 08, 2019
Or maybe what happened is a section of the team decided to go rogue, kill the uncooperative members of the team, make it look like they were ambushed, got some self inflicted injuries to make the story believable, collect their share of the 100M naira ransom Alhaji Mamisu offered them and turned him loose.

I'd trust a snake in my house first before I trust a Nigerian police officer! The lie those people tell would put the devil's title as prince of lies to shame and I am sure the devil shudders and grumbles each time they unleash their lying prowess.

Well I guess there is no need to dwell on the past anymore because you are trying to at least remedy your actions albeit too late. The polity has been torn and divided on all fronts and Nigerians can never have a united front ever on a quest to oust buhari; we had our chance again in February but with nudges from tinubu you people reinforced him to an extent he could rig himself back in again. I just had to remind you so next time you don't get in on the bad side of history.

We are dealing with a well coordinated kidnapping ring in the country and you're here saying someone is not happy those people got released. No one ever said they are not happy people who were kidnapped got released. We are saying how did it happen so fast? If it were a voiceless people, would it have been so?

False. Avalon uses the same drivetrain and powertrain (Engine and trans) as sienna and camry-MZ series. 2. 5L to 3.3l engine
Corolla has 1.4 to 1.8L
Avalon has better torque and more efficient in pulling out of bottomless potholes and muddy areas..LESS wear and tear on the engine, but takes more FUEL to do the work.
Corolla has less torque and less efficient in navigating “beautifully tarred/paved” Naija roads..but it puts a lot of wear and tear on engine and trans. You save more in fuel cost, but give up on longevity, wear and tear.
About fuel, the MPG difference is only 6miles/10km

Bro do you know why people prefer the mechanic on the streets to the mechanical engineering graduate who claims he can repair cars? Experience!

In the streets, experience not books do the job. You just quoted some fine readings out of an online article for me but have you ever experienced it? I speak from experience mind you friend.

A man who wants to buy an avalon should have very deep pockets and should not even be considering a corolla in the same sentence with an avalon because when the problems come and they must surely come, he does not want to be caught napping on the avalon.

Power, sleekness; yes the avalon has got it. The corolla is just one boring piece of slow metal on the roads with handling like an old lady but never ever compare a corolla and an avalon in terms of reliability and I'm not talking about fuel economy! Don't let the sienna narrative fool you ooo my guy. Go to your nearest mechanic and confirm from them what I just told you! #peace

Hello Nairalanders,

I want to buy a car in the near future and I am turn between an Avalon and a Corolla 2007. Based on my price review on Jiji, both vehicle are within the same price range of N1.8million - N2.2million for foreign use depending on condition and seller.

I'll like to ask Nairalanders who have experience using any of these cars to advice which will be better for a personal user with no plans for long distance travel or ride hailing.

My key concern is aroung.
1. Cost of servicing
2. Repairs and maintenance.
3. Fuel consumption
4. Overall driving experience.

Thanks for you feedbacks
My brother if you like yourself, don't ever I mean ever consider buying an Avalon. That's one of the quickest routes to the village. That motor go put you for street ooo grin even yahoo boys sef dey see the car dey run now Lol

Go for the corolla and save yourself the pains hassles and problems! Avalon na very problematic car and I am speaking from experience... Matter of fact, many experiences! Forget as e long like ojile bread ooo forget that sleek shape... It's a very unreliable and useless car! Enough said
