PoliticsRe: Yar’adua: Nigeria May Opt For Two Vice Presidents by Bishopking: 10:13am On Feb 03, 2010
did they also consider the possibilities of the president and the 'favored' vice president being incapacitated at the same time?

Also, what use would the second vice president be when we know from experience that vice presidents are generally 'spare tires'?
Why ethnic presidency?

Also if the presidency is zoned to a highly heterogeneous area such as south south, will this arrangement still work?
in the same vein, has someone thought of the implications of this strange arrangement at state level?

@ becomrich

I really like the Flag you put up, God bless you for that. We only need little modification to that. It is far better than the one Emperor Olu put up about a week ago.

Sorry mate!
Americans don't make friends with people who have airports called 'Mohammed Airport'.
This was culled fromm BBCs website and is being displayed for all the world to see.
This airport is in Lagos, Yoruba land.
You have the same image as Afghanistan, and yemen.
@ adigun 101

The airport will change name soon. Trust God. Enough of these guys!

Kobojunkie,

You are right. They say he achieved something because he is the only African on the list
What about the only Indian, European, American, Australian, Canadian, etc on the list?
Any non-African reading this claim will be laughing their heads off, saying ''see these fourth world country people fighting over crumbs.''.

Any Africans reading this will say '' these fake giants of our continent don come again oh!''

In a country of mediocres, any slight thing is balloned to high heavens.

Drama:
Kobojunkie asked a question: what is the IT record said to be broken?
Ignorant tribesmen provide the answer: he is the only African on the list. grin grin grin grin grin
The driver's licenses used in developed country were made though similar info technologies. So there is no record broken. May be in Nigeria
Please change the title to: Re: Kehinde Adeyemi Breaks IT Record in Nigeria.
@ mekus

it is a noteworthy achievement for the young Nigerian coming at a time when all associated with nigeria is negativity in every aspect of life, The american or other nationals may be the only ones from their countries on the list of first twelve ( and i can imagine that there would be many of their fellow nationals that entered for the competitition originally)
. Moreover, those ones are not as weighed down psychologically by negativities in their nation as their Nigerian counterpart, smiley

still @ mekus

I was surprised that 'ignorant tribalist' could come out of your mouth! grin was it a mistake? Remove the log in your eyes,

Kudos to the Nigerian achiever. I am sure that had the guy come from some tribe, by now about twenty topics will be promoting the strange idea of tribal superiority. grin grin

One love my people.

is he also called 'ahmed' because the link i posted earlier showed the name on the certificate as ahmed. And parent's name is stil mutallab!
PoliticsRe: Evidence Mounts For U.s.,israeli Complicity In Mutallabs Terrorism by Bishopking: 10:14pm On Jan 02, 2010
there are lot of reasons to suspect the American government of foul play!

for how long had the chap farouk stayed in yemen to have access to the high ranking members of al-qaeda?
How could they trust him?
how did he move the 'weapons' from yemen through all the countries before he finaly made it to detroit?
Why did mutallab sr suspect foul play on the part of his son such that he could only report him to US embassy! why not other embasssies? why not any security outfit in nigeria?
Why did US embassy still give him visa despite previous warning?
why did farook wait until the plane was approaching landing in the US territory before he tried to detonate the 'crackers'?
, how come he sustained injury and yet the 'weapon' did not fully detonate?

why did they say that he was 23 years old? A video (titled: suspect hometown stunned) report on
CNN website:http://edition.cnn.com/video/  (pause on time 55s) showed on his primary school certificate that he was born in april 1988 (meaning he was 21 as at the time of his crime). why is this in contradiction to his travelling documents through which they got his supposed age? Dont nigerian reduce their age (if they want to lie) instead of inflating it?

Why are the informations simply not adding up? Why?!!!!

You have to apologise for that lack of creativity!!!
PoliticsRe: Oba Rejects Car Gift From Government by Bishopking: 4:23pm On Jan 01, 2010
The tradition of having Obas is no longer an important one.

Obaship, ezeship, ooniship or whatever should be a ceremonial thing if recognized at all.

Most indolent, low-intelligent, greedy and evil people are calling themselves Obas.

Indolent because they will not work! They have hands, legs, heads and everything needed to work with, still they wont contribute to any national development efforts!! angry

Low-intelligent because they seek solutions where any right thinking person know that there is no solution! Take for example, during the recent spate of arm robbery attacks on banks across the country, some obas resulted to doing sacrifice (including using humans) hoping to wade off the evil spirits 'that brought' the robbers! Some of them even shut the main markets in their town for some days in order to carry out some sinister activities in the name of sacrifice to wade off the so called robbery-bringing robbers from their domain! grin, Human sacrifice was alleged to have been conducted!! How dumb could some people be!!

Greedy because they always want everything to be theirs. Imagine an Oba having the most beautiful women as wives, the best houses, all the land!! angry, refering to people who are better than him in all ramification as his subjects huh begging all over the world for money, and resorting to outright stealing in many cases. Incidences have been recorded where the obas and their family members were involved in arm robbery cases. Yet no trial because they enjoy some form of unconstitutional immunity.

Evil because they are promoting human sacrifice, laziness, not encouraging creativity, anti-progressive, and because they impose themselves on people.

Whenever an oba die (especially the so-called grade A ones), many people will be sacrificed for them, Many recent incidences to validate this points can be referred to. Akure is a fresh one in many people's minds. Innocent people were kidnapped on the street, in public transport, even in their compunds for ritual purposes. One can ony imagine what would happen when the like of Ooni finally kicks the bucket cry

Are we going to allow this to continue forever? Must we wait until it happens to someone we love? in the words of the highly quoted Pastor Martin Niemoller:

First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out - because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for the communists
and I did not speak out - because I was not a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out - because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for me -
and by then there was no one left to speak out for me.

Speak out now!!
PoliticsRe: Regional Poverty In Nigeria- North, South-West Worse Hit by Bishopking: 1:06pm On Dec 25, 2009
4 Play:
If you look at the poverty stats, Lagos has a relatively lower level of poverty. The higher levels of poverty in the South West is due to the surrounding states. In Nigeria, there are greater levels of poverty in the rural areas than the urban areas.

What these stats reveal is the total disconnect between Govt investment and the poverty levels. A good lesson for lefties everywhere, including the UK/US. If state intervention reduced poverty, the North will have far lower levels of poverty.
please include the link to your 'stats',
PoliticsRe: Regional Poverty In Nigeria- North, South-West Worse Hit by Bishopking: 12:50pm On Dec 25, 2009
SEFAGO:
Interesting statistics-

It could be possible that the mass migration of people in the South East and North to the South West, due to the significant economic opportunities, could have increased poverty in the South West, and consequently reduced poverty statistics in the South East. I would wager that there would be a larger number of people in the South East if such an adjustment was made to the methodology of this study.

My two cents
GBAM!! lipsrsealed

If the S' East is that rich, why are the easterners AND northerners trooping en mass to the S'west in millions everyday? The S west Nigeria is the now the melting point of the fortune seekers from across West Africa. This dilute as a matter of logic, the existing wealth and social infrastructure there!

How many Yoruba people are in the East as compared to the Easterners in the west, And they never want to go back home!! grin
