KnowAll:@ knowall, please pay attention to your sentences: The diaspora? I would say 'The Diaspora Nigerian (or Naija) Every single town? I would say every town masseurs? check the definition please! To grasped? To grasp is the correct one! 'Magnanimity of these proclamation'? Do you mean to say the 'magnitude of these proclamation'? |
she (Akunyili) needs to apologize on this. What the hell! Do they (she and her colleagues in the government) think that they own the country? Why this colonial mentality? Is it even not about time we changed the name of the country? Afterall a 'hooker' named us Nigeria! If she is so proud of nigeria, then why is she not bearing at least a Nigerian first name? Why was she thankful that she won American visa lottery? Why are her kids marrying americans? madam hypocrite! |
there are only three relevant post on this thread so far! Home matters should just be that! |
all the pages are interesting esp pg9 I dont what pg 12 is seeking to achieve, Take note of the magazine (that 'elected' the greatest africans) name please: New African Magazine The very list is on page 17. It is interesting to see that: Serena williams is ranked ahead of Mandela, Pele. The first seven were entertainers save for Martin Luther King and Malcolm X; Fela Kuti is 36 behind the likes of queen of sheba, hannibal kwame nkrumah ranked behind emeagwali At 43 is wole soyinka behind chinua achebe(26),philip emeagwali (32), anwar sadat(40) etc obafemi awolowo is at 78 And guess what the selection is based on 'Buzz Index' (i guess online search for a particular day or time) The question is that who was doing the online buzz (search times) on that particular day? Another question is why is it that people who had no buzz index at all still make it and yet my name is not included? |
just wondering, Is emeagwali among the 35 greatest Africans? Is Nigeria owing emeagwali? Is emeagwali the most popular scientist? Is emeagwali's website the most visited? Did emeagwali solve one of the grand challenges of all time in mathematics? All the questions arose as a result of his online acclaims (were on his website for a long time). Guys, lets have your opinions. |
sorry for the distraction. But did emeagwali ever say Nigeria owe him? Just pondering |
Mariory:What do you mean? dim? no I am not! I guess you lack home training and you are a tom fool. |
Attention-seeking OBJ! He could have arranged it all by himself!! |
Dont mind the guy! He needs to go for some mental check up asap. By the way, when will he be brought to book for all his atrocities. |
ha! So, promise of 2015 to SE is the only thing this guy can think of in order to be in the race. What a waste of human semen. Where is vision. What will nigeria look like at the end of his tenure? What are the step-by-step way of achieving it? Who is he to insult a whole people? Is he in a position to dash power to anyone? Does he have power over even his own life? This guys (this saraki boy and others) need to be tamed! |
thought Become, whatever had left this forum, What is he looking for now? |
this might actually be the beginning of revolution hoped for. |
Their governor (or may be imo state governor) once said that Yoruba bankers caused the kidnapping. Hmmm, |
@ jarus Your story was rather interesting. The last bit indicated that if not for the nysc dg, they would have physically assaulted you. Stories like that are abundant in nigeria. I don't support character assassination on the pages of the dailies. But no matter what concern someone might raise, some people in the corridor of power usually take things personally. Sss or whatever they are called are some boys of whoever is in the power. They are just there to do the bidding of who calls the shot at the moment. |
I think failure to have at least 4 credits should attract death penalty. |
@ frosbel, For every hate-filled black, there are ten thousand hate filled pink ( so called white) people. Proof: Visit: www.stormfront.org |
I am begining to suspect that white people and haters of blacks have invested this forum. The brother in question was saying some truth. He was saying the reason why he alleged that enemies killed abacha. He was not saying abacha was a nice guy. Who is even nice now? He was saying that so far we have people that dance to the tunes of the enemies, we will never progress as a people but instead spiral downwards as the enemies intended. On issues of Abacha's supposed billions: if he had played ball with them and if he had misappropriated our funds, will they not have covered him when he died? Did Abacha stole more than IBB? Why then did some enemies of our future from the evil land send emmisaries to the chief evil genius to contest and win so as to secure again the total destruction? Is it not possible that most of the so called loots of Abacha were actually fabricated to demonise the guy? Is it not also possible that most of the killings in the country during his tenure were masterminded from outside? I am not a supporter of Abacha at all, but I think. |
@ikengawo, Didn't you read the number of countries involved? Also, if nigeria is the heaven that I suppose you think it is, then why on earth will a nigerian be ready to escape to places (such as sudan, somalia, or wherever)you would believe are worse. By the way, why measuring up with the ones you assume are worse-off? My believe is that if I don't get the best, then I have failed. People in nigeria who IMO believe that showing face i.e. being also-rans is good enough are the main problems. And these are the overwhelming majority. |
what kind of president to be would talk like this. It reminds me of a primary school text book joke: On a fateful day, rabbit and his friend were quarrelling on how to divide a love of bread among them. They were almost ready to settle it amicably though one of them has smaller portion. Mr monkey enters. He said "well, I can make that to really be equal among you. so that no one will feel cheated" To this new idea, the rabbits were eager to give a try. "okay" one said. from nowhere, Mr monkey brought a beam balance. "with this, I will divide this loaf equally between you my good friends". With rehearsed grace, he set up the contraption and immediately set to make his judgement. However, it seems things would not be as expected! One side was significantly greater than the other. To compensate for this imbalance, Mr monkey tore a piece of loaf on greater side and into his mouth it went. He munched it with practised expertise and even belched to show his satisfaction. Did this solve the problem? Your guess is as good as mine. No! It did not. Mr monkey had deliberately made the smaller side to be bigger this time. To 'solve' the new problem, he simply repeated the procedure therefore making the loaf on either side smaller alternatively and ended up consuming everything. However, after what seemed like eternity, the two sides of the balance became equal. But all the bread had gone! Simple Monkey trick IBB! Bleep off Now!! It is not funny. Stop insulting ME!!!! |
guys, read between that lines, please! If this is true, it means that IBB is backing off from presidential race at a price! He is being bought, or rather he is selling his worthless self at an enormous price, |
ha, SELF DESTRUCTION IS GATHERING MOMENTUM AT LAST! THE FOOLS WERE TOO BUSY STEALING AND DID NOT PAY (STILL NOT PAYING) ATTENTION TO BREWING CATASTROPHE!! |
Lol, Imagine a nigerian leader! That most of the nigerian leaders are like this dude in terms of mental power is a FACT!! |
