Please how do I recover my money from Union Bank?
On 19th April 2022, I went to use their ATM at about 8:10 a.m and I was debited N20k without cash dispense because the machine went off while counting the money due to power failure from the bank's generator house.
After 24hrs I went to their branch to lay a compliant and they acknowledged the dispense error and started that it will be reversed after 24hrs which did not happen.
I called their customer care line 2 days later and one of their agent told me that it will be reversed after 24hrs and that she has sent It for manual reversal.
Despite this I didn't get the reversal.

I again went to the bank last week Friday, 23rd April and the customer service apologized that it must be reversed that day which did not still happen.
I chatted them up on Twitter, and they claim that it has been reversed, and after proving that nothing has been reversed they stopped responding to my messages on Twitter.
I sent them a mail and they didn't respond till yesterday, where they stated that the issue will be resolve within 48 hours.
Nothing has happened yet.
I tried calling their their customer service now and I noticed that I can no longer reach them with my two lines, probably they blocked my line.

P.s; I am fully aware that they have breached their obligation in respect to banker-customer relationship and that I would be entitled to damages if I sue them for this.
But the truth is, instituting a legal action now would be too expensive for me coupled with the litigation process.

Please what do you suggest I do apart from litigation?

Just wait till after two weeks,if there is no response from them,send your complain to CBN via this mail- cpd@cbn.gov.ng state the efforts you have put in place and copy them(the bank).
See how they will respond .

Reading the story,as a Nigerian I agree with you SAN,but I have a question for you in order to clear every or little doubt that may still be there.The question is why did you have to split the 30k to 3 i.e. deposited 30k in three tranches of 10k? Why not once? Is there any law or rule that frown at it?

The Legal Adviser of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Sokoto State, Alhaji Nasiru Sahabi Tambuwal, has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
His defection was announced in Dange town, headquarters of Dange/Shuni local government during the flag off of the campaigns for the 2019 general elections.
Other defectors included a former special assistant to Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Alhaji Yaro Illelar-Gajara; PDP Women Leader in Tambuwal local government, Hajiya A’in Sokoto; former chairman, Matawalle G-23 and another top notcher of the party, Alhaji Hamza Yeriman Shuni, among others.
The former PDP chieftains said thousands of their supporters across their respective wards had also moved along with them to their new party.
Speaking on behalf of the defectors, Sahabi Tambuwal and Alhaji Illelar-Gajara said they left their former party because it lacked justice and fairness.
They also stated that they joined APC because of it had focus and fairness and the patriotic spirit and trustworthiness of its leaders.

The manner in which Omu Aran people exposed APC and IGP seems to have driven Lai Mohammed out of comfort therefore devices another gimmicks to gain public sympathy and shy them away from further discussion of the incidence .

The sources claimed that Ajuloopin who drove the vehicle himself while on campaign to Oke Ero local government was instructed to park by the road side by some APC bigwigs who are also in the convoy. Immediately after Ajuloopin mounted down from the jeep, some of the imported Lagos thugs were instructed to carefully opened fire on the rear side where some customised caps labeled "AJULOOPIN" had been carefully positioned .

Immediately the thugs completed their task, they took pictures themselves which were sent across social media to hoodwink the public.

Fayose did more than this in Ekiti and we later found out that it was the two parties (APC+PDP) that really engaged in malpractices but the former outsmart the later.

As at then,there was uniformity in NYSC mobilization and the period for batch C was around Oct/Nov, how come Kemi's cert states Sept?

Exception letter is always different from certificate.Your date of birth will be stated and it is always issued @ different time.
