More reinforcements work progress in pictures.

Still on the carpentry formwork, almost completed.

Excluding blocks used for foundation, what is the total number of blocks used so far for the ground floor. Also, how many blocks are you estimating for the first floor.

For the ground floor block setting work, we stacked and used up 3100 blocks but we couldn't have laid more than 3000 because we will have breakages and half's, some will also be used to fill up the hollows of half's.

We will use about the same numbers on the first floor because the spatial dimensions are the same. We might just have more breakages/waste due to carrying upstairs.

Apologies for the long hiatus, I have been a bit under the weather. We have taken levels and set for the decking work.

The architectural drawings showing:
1. Ground floor plan
2. First floor plan
3. Front Elevation

Casting of the front unit lintels, beams and columns. To save cost, we are using the planks from the rear unit for the formwork and that is why it took a bit of a while.

Lintel level achieved, almost 100% done but we will definitely wrap it up today to begin the carpentry formwork next week.

Was the german floor was done in stages over a period of more than one day?
Secondly if u don't mind what is the total size and cost of the damp proof membrane (nylon)

Apologies for the late response, have been a bit busy lately.
Yes, the german floor was casted in 2 stages since we had a step down level from the foundation work, that made it easy to cast it over 2 days.

The size of the german floor is 9.5m x 26.5m and the DPM material covered this. We bought 4 rolls of double layer nylon unlike the black one readily available in the market that comes in small sizes. I will have to check the nylon wrapper to get the coverage of one roll which is in grams anyway.

We started the block setting for the ground floor on Wednesday 25th July. Laying out the first coach blockwork to show the spatial arrangement.

Thank you. For the material, we did a bulk purchase of most of the materials used but I will try and do a breakdown based on usage
1. Granite - We purchased 30 tons and probably used close to 20 tons for the short pillars and german floor
2. Sharp sand - We purchased 20 tons and used it up, what's left is just little.
3. Cement - We used 82 bags using a mix ratio of 1:2:4
