Wickedfacts:Who will force him out if there is no declaration? If there is no declaration the status quo remains |
Congrats to the new person. But the old one has the right to appeal |
Wickedfacts:My point is that Makinde won't vacate the seat even if the supreme court endorses the 'judgement' of the court of appeal. The Court of Appeal judgement did not say that Makinde should vacate the seat |
Techcrunchng:Even if it was real, how did he KNOW what they were doing? |
yankeevibe:How do you KNOW that this is a diabolical way to make money? |
Wickedfacts:The Court of Appeal did not also set aside the judgement of the Tribunal. |

Katsumoto:Well done. I didn't realize that someone else had done an excellent job in caging that arsenefc monkey! What you have done is commendable social responsibility. |
Oh my God! A man that is sick in the body and mind in the person of arsenefc is also talking. A man who thinks of only d.ick and womanliness of people young enough to be his daughter. We have a name for people like you where I live. I won't waste my time on mad and demented men. Never! |
I don't know why some people are wasting precious time on this Beaf of a man. Can't you see that he represents all what is wrong with that wasteful country called Nigeria? |
What's his prophecy for Boko Haram? |
PurestBoy:No one else is sick but you. You also need deliverance from the love-peddlers that you have been sleeping with, even on the first day of the New Year! ![]() |
Are the following Bible verses applicable here? Num 12:6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. Jer 23:21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied Deu 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. Jer 14:14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart. |
May be we should ask him who will win the presidential contest. ![]() |
Big B1:Smartness is not an end in itself but should be seen as a means to an end. How exactly has this much-touted and strange smartness benefited Nigeria and Nigerians? Compare all indicators of economic, political and social development between 1985 and 1993 and tell us his precise, unambiguous, and specific achievements. This is the way to go and not by making general statements. This test should also apply to all aspirants to public office. Waiting for you Big B1. |
5p1naz:I have chosen to ignore the outright insult in your reply but what answers do you have to the following posers: 1. Do you know that the Catholic Church persecuted Galileo Galileo for championing the Copernican theory that the earth revolved around the sun, in contradiction to scripture, church tradition and the ancient authority of Aristotle and Ptolemy? 2. Are you aware that the position made him to be tried and convicted as a heretic in 1633? 3. Do you know that Galileo was not fully vindicated until 1992 when, upon the recommendation of a papal commission that reviewed his trial and condemnation, Pope John Paul II formally absolved Galileo and acknowledged the error of the church’s judgment? 4. Look at I Chronicles 16:30: "He has fixed the earth firm, immovable." and Psalm 93:1: "Thou hast fixed the earth immovable and firm, " and Psalm 96:10: "He has fixed the earth firm, immovable, " Revelations also says that the earth has 4 corners. 5. The early Bible writers believed that stars were small objects (almost all Nigerian cultures even believe(d) in this) and could fall on to the earth from the sky. Read Revelation 6:13-16:, the stars in the sky fell to the earth, like figs shaken down by a gale; the sky vanished, as a scroll is rolled up , they called out to the mountains and the crags, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of the One who sits on the throne, " 6. Also the Bible writers assumed a flat earth, which was consistent with Hebrew cosmology, in several passages: Daniel 4:10-11. In Daniel, the king "saw a tree of great height at the centre of the earth , reaching with its top to the sky and visible to the earth's farthest bounds." If the earth were flat, a sufficiently tall tree would be visible to "the earth's farthest bounds," but this is impossible on a spherical earth. Likewise, in describing the temptation of Jesus by Satan, Matthew 4:8 says, "Once again, the devil took him to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world (cosmos) in their glory." Obviously, this would be possible only if the earth were flat. The same is true of Revelation 1:7: "Behold, he is coming with the clouds! Every eye shall see him, " 7. Again, the Hebrews considered the celestial bodies relatively small. The Genesis creation story indicates the size and importance of the earth relative to the celestial bodies in two ways, first by their order of creation, and second by their positional relationships. They had to be small to fit inside the vault of heaven. Small size is also implied by Joshua 10:12, which says that the sun stood still "in Gibeon" and the moon "in the Vale of Aijalon." My friends (especially 5p1naz and ccollins), the spirit of God is true but some of these things are not correct. The funny thing is that those that even brought Christianity to us are now aware of this position. You may ignore it or take a subjective position on it but you are bound to lose any argument based on the realities of today. Consider this, if the early Bible writers had been Yorubas, Ijaws, Igbos, or Hausas, some of their belief systems would probably have found their way into the book. I have absolutely no problem with any sincerely held religious belief and I am not trying to mock anyone but we should not, in the face of modern astronomy, continue to revel in ignorance and continue to see the Bible as a book of science. God is true but some of the passages of the Bible may not stand the test of science. We should not be dogmatic about this or resort to name-calling and outright derogatory remarks. Don't be surprised that this position is no longer new or shocking to many people preaching the gospel all over the world. |
This is the beauty of democracy: the opportunity to criticise your elected leaders and change them at intervals with better people. Back to you poster, WHO do you have in mind that can replace Fashola and outperform him especially in all these areas where he has 'failed'? Waiting for your recommendations please. |
I wish there was a way to ask the kidnappers how much they found. ![]() |
http://www.tribune.com.ng/sat/index.php/news/1592-lady-causes-stir-says-commissioner-impregnated-her.html THERE was a mild drama in Lokoja, Kogi State, during the week at the venue of a seminar for information officers and traditional rulers when a commissioner was roughhandled by a lady who claimed that she was impregnated and abandoned by him. The lady apparently got wind of the commissioner’s presence at the venue of the seminar and came with her baby and a friend who held the baby for her so that she could be free to vent her anger on the commissioner. Oblivious of the lady’s presence, the commissioner declared the seminar open and after every other formality, made for the exit of the venue when the lady came out of her hiding place and held his outfit. Baffled and embarrassed by the sudden turn of events, the commissioner tried to break free, but the lady held him tighter, pouring all sorts of abuse on him, shouting on top of her voice and telling onlookers how the commissioner impregnated and abandoned her and her baby. Aides and friends of the commissioner, however, saved him from further embarrassment as he was quickly ushered into his vehicle which zoomed off. While trying to escape, the lady, still shouting on top of her voice, threw all sorts of objects in sight at his car, vowing to continue to harass him at every official and unofficial venues till he took responsibility of the baby she had for him. |
It is amazing that those who claim to be educated try to muzzle criticism or opposition. Even those who brought the religion you are defending to this clime have since opened their minds. Do you know that the Church at a time tortured the scientists who said the earth was not flat but spherical contrary to the teachings of the Bible? Pray, shouldn't you be grateful for the free of charge and priceless opinion poll provided here on the obscene and unChristian conduct of those so-called pastors? This is a golden opportunity for them to mend their ways and return to the true path that Christ treaded and stop being worshippers of lucre. Although most people know what is right but some people have surrendered their hearts to their pastors instead of submitting themselves to God. |
Yes, the parliamentary system of government is cheaper and there is collective responsibility. But what Nigeria needs is a very fast return to true federalism. |
omomoller:My belief in God is strong and firm but many folks masquerading as men of God (and it is so easy to get that title in Nigeria because most people are gullible and uncritical of them) have so much distorted and bastardised the essence of Christianity. Jesus himself, whose name they mention at the drop of a hat, would cringe at the extent that these impostors and pretenders have gone to arrange miracles and amass stupendous wealth, at the mercy of their unsuspecting and gullible congregation. All lovers of justice and even true Christians must speak with one voice to condemn this ugly trend (this is not judging them) before Christianity is fed to the dogs. There is a church in Auchi where the Pastor tells those who don't have cash to give to remove their shoes, wrist watches, mobile phones, etc and give to 'God/Jesus' in lieu of cash. Go there the next day to see all those items being sold at the church while the proceeds go to the Pastor (because he, just as it is in many one-man churches, is the sole signatory to the account). Is there a Charity Committee to look into how the money is spent? What manner of desperate Christianity is this? Does this not look like a desperate bid to get rich in a country where economic downturn has brought out the beast in many people and religion is definitely one of the easiest routes to wealth? |
Bombooclat, if u see this nyash now inside clothe u would start misbehaving buh see the rubbish now outside clothe.... Looking like spoilt banana SMH....
