I will tell the world that it's time we unite against gods... against extra terrestrials... against spirits... against principalities. The world belong to us. No Supernatural has helped us at our lowest. Russians are slaughtering Ukrainians... bandits, terrorists, security agencies and hunger are killing Nigerians... humans in north Korea don't even know the year of the calendar...many Africans live their entire life without ever having a taste of good time even for a second...the gods are useless to us, yet we spend our limited resources to worship them; to make them feel good. We need to starve them...they need us more than we need them....we give them worship, they give us nothing but misery and threat of hell...

Finally, bro please like how much did the Facebook advert cost you in total? And for like how many weeks did you run the facebook ad? I am contemplating on Facebook ad too for my business.

You don't need to reveal the nature of your business.
Facebook add is cheap if you can customize it effectively. I've spent less than 7k so far. While customizing, I targeted people within my locality. I limited the age range between 30 and 60. I made my writeup very simple and catchy with just three pictures. I also linked my WhatsApp to the add.

From January I will make more extensive campaign

How was the sales conversion of the Facebook ad you did? Did it bring more sales to you? Cause I heard nowadays Facebook ad is a waste of money.

I am thinking of advertising my business too using Facebook ad. I want to learn about your experience using Facebook Ad if it worths it.
I work in the building sector. Facebook add gave me clients that paid for contracts worth millions of naira. In fact the very first week of running the add, my first client paid almost three million... Facebook add needs being creative.

I'm a very private person. I've revealed much about myself on with this Monika. If I spell out my business here people can easily reconcile it with my main Monika that has my face; my identity. That's why it seems like like I'm not being open with my business

Family2021: My Worst And My Best Year by BitterSoul(op):
Hello nairalanders, this is one year and few weeks since I created this account. You all remember this post? https://www.nairaland.com/6249966/lamentations-bitter-man#95936848

Well the last days of 2020 was literally hell to me. Thanks to few people like pcguru1 (I don't know what happened to that Monika) that helped me to survive after reading the post above. God bless you wherever you are. Let me briefly tell my 2021 story so that everyone can learn.

The challenges
December 2020, I was as broke as harmattan forest. I left my 20k monthly job out of frustration few months earlier and just settled for a 10k monthly job because it has a future. I remember one day on the last week of December 2020, I had just N10 left with me, no food, no water and no hope. I'm that kind of person that can't ask for help unless anonymously. I was chatting with random old friends and one conversation led to another and in the end one person sent me 3k the other 2k, so I had 5k. Immediately I went out, withdraw the money and bought garri, beans and bread. Thank God I had gas in my cylinder. That was how I became"rich" again.

Few days later, I went to my alma mater to enjoy my private time with nature since everyone else have traveled for Christmas holiday. So while alone, something strange happened; I got an sms that I have been selected for the federal government loan that I applied for. I clicked the linked and provided my BVN. Few days later I got alert of about 280k. That was how 2020 ended.

January 2021...
I cracked my brain on what type of business I could do with that money. While on that, feeding and some other expenses was sapping the money. In the end I settled for POS business. Being that I had spent most of the money on feeding, bills, repaying loans and acquiring everything needed for the business, I had just little money left for the business. I couldn't run the business myself because that my 10k job which later became 15k was very important to me; it had something I was looking for for the future, so I had to employ salesgirl that I would pay salaries to.

Now I needed loan to keep the business afloat. The emergence of UGM in Owerri made POS business risky so I was careful about collecting the loan. At the end of April, I felt it was the right time to collect the loan. A friend offered to loan me 150k in which I will pay 500 every single day till whenever I will return the capital (at his request). I agreed on collected the money on the 30th of April.

The big problem
On the 1st of may, my salesgirl was defrauded of 96k from the 150k. I sourced for money elsewhere to fund the business, and two months later on July, armed robbers attacked at broad daylight and collected everything. By October my salesgirl left, I employed another one but barely two weeks into the job, wayo people attacked her, collected all the money on her including my two ATM cards with her and the pin to the cards. Before her eye cleared, they have zeroed my account. That was November 2021

The testimony...

After all the disappointment and heartbreak, I am ending the year on a good note.

Firstly, I have just paid for a one bedroom apartment for two years in advance; paid for upholstery and will be fixing everything else before the end of this year. Remember the 15k job? It started yielding results already.

Secondly, apart from someone I'm owing 50k and federal government, I'm no longer owing anyone else.

Thirdly, I've found a love

NB
When you're broke, you don't reason normal. But please don't let desperation lead you into something bad. I've had to visit native doctor at a point...(check my post before this one). I would have considered suicide if not for my strong nature. But at last, I see hope.

Don't underestimate the power of the internet. Few thousands of naira for Facebook add was a major game changer for me.

When you're in bad situation, see it as a dark cloud that must give way for the sun at dawn. I do not have fat bank account; I may not even travel for Christmas, but I've moved from despair to hopefulness. If I could make it, YOU can make it.

Sorry bro undecided

That's why my orientation towards some people in this life has drastically changed. I've found out that people will always want to use your simplicity as stupidity at any slightest opportunity. Hence, i don't longer have sympathy for offenders. I don't advise people not to take vengeance anymore because i know if we all pass our judgment here on earth without waiting for God or authority, some people will sit up and behave right or do the right thing.

Just as Timaya said that the world want good people, but they want to do without the good people. I've begun to culture my mind in a way that, whatever situation i found myself, i will adapt to it. I've told my wife that I'm gonna train my children on how to paint their mind black and white. They should be able to use the right colour at any situation they find themselves. But never to hurt anyone who meant well for them and also be able to identify a mistake from intentional act.

Most times, good people don't go far in life. Both physically, politically, financially and otherwise. Most of them don't always get want they want. People will always use your kindness as a weakness to fight or overpower you. I now believe in vengeance to those who doesn't consider my feelings or wellbeing. Thinking they are smart or tough.

The reason why people are doing evil is because they know that they are good people who will forgive them or have mercy on them. That's why instead of them to go hustle, they rather stand at the corner looking for who to robb or snatch his/her belongings. Inside this same buhari regime. Not with me. We settle it here on earth, when we get to other part of the world, God will settle us.

Please don't judge me. It is just what the world has turned me to
You've said it all

POS business did not directly ruined your life but rather thiefs who have been watching your movement for quite a while, people usually get rubbed of their hard earned money regardless of the kind of business they're into.
If your current location is not secured enough i will advise you to leave and get to a more secure and a bit populated place.
Once again sorry for your loss, this will all be a story someday that you will tell your kids and laugh about. Stay strong.

I can't type much. But the most part of the story is in this thread https://www.nairaland.com/6533588/ive-been-pushed-wall-time

Today, armed robbers invaded my shop and collected the remaining money. My neighbor too was robbed. My salesgirl just came back from bank when they attacked.

I don't think this is the end of the road, but I don't see any possibility of any further headway. It's just safe to scream game over

BusinessRe: Mobil Filling Station, ₦10,000 & POS Wahala: How Can I Resolve This Issue? by BitterSoul(m): 9:19pm On Jun 24, 2021
tunbosun002:
Does Anyone Know How I Can Resolve This Issue?

Good morning nairalanders,

Please I have an issue with MobilinNigeria(Mobil petroleum station) in one of their branches in Lekki axis and the manager seems not to know what to do about it or he’s trying to play me.

On the 12th of this month, I was at one of the branches to buy diesel worth N10,000 with my atm card using POS..the fuel attendant whose name starts with M tried using my card with their POS machine and after about 30mins, he gave me the card saying the transaction was declined and opted that I transfer 10k to his personal account and he would pay later when the POS machine starts working, which I did and I left the petrol station.

On getting home, N10,000 from the declined transaction was deducted from my account. I sent an email to my bank(FCMB) immediately asking them to make a reversal of the N10,000 deducted from my account and I got a response stating that they will investigate for 3 working days.

After the said working days was completed, I got an email from FCMB saying the POS merchant got credited with the money with proof. I went back to mobil petrol station and I met with one of the attendants, asking to see their manager and I explained why I needed to see the manager but when the guy he called their manager came, the first thing he said is “IT IS A POS TRANSACTION and IT CANNOT be traced”, I immediately told him he cannot tell me there’s no way to keep track of their account records and I needed my money back since FCMB said the money went through, I also showed him the receipt FCMB sent to me. He promised to investigate and call back on Monday noon which he didn’t, I gave him till past 6pm of the said day before calling him, he asked that I call back so he can check and when I did, he said he didn’t see the N10,000 transaction in their account.
I called FCMB yesterday and they still insisted that they received the money and they asked that I go back there and give them a call to talk to the manager.

Note, the manager has refused to check with the bank copy receipt FCMB sent to me saying since the one they gave me at the petrol station says declined, then the money is not with them.
Please I need help from bankers in the house and nairalanders on how to get this money, N10,000 is really a lot this period as I have not been working for the past six weeks now.

I will attach the declined receipt I got from the petrol station and the receipt FCMB sent to me after their investigations.

Attached is the declined receipt I got from the fuel attendant and the receipt FCMB sent to me after their investigations.
I'm just seeing this now. Believe me, the money is not with the filling station. Go to any branch of your bank and fill dispute form. The money will be reversed. I can give you thousands of evidence to support this

"only God is all powerful" yet God has not protected security forces from the bullets of UGM, boko haram, Herdsmen etc and has not answered multitude of prayers for a better Nigeria. Read history my people. God was all power yet Catholics killed protestants in their thousands and vice versa, and Muslims killed Christians in their thousands and vice versa. Adolf Hitler killed Jews in their millions, women and children die in their millions in numerous wars across the world at various times without his intervention. Ordinary malaria is killing people in thousands annually, yet the all powerful God does nothing about it.
