Travel / Re: How A Man Helped An Accident Victim And Ended Up Regretting by bixton(m): 5:05pm On Sep 10
Ishilove:
Me, I help from a distance. Last year, I was passing by in my company vehicle when I saw an accident victim lying bleeding on the road along Kudirat Abiola Way, I quietly took my phone and called an ambulance for eni eleni.

I kept on following up with them until they picked the man. In short, there was a point I almost screamed in frustration when I called, and the paramedics told me they were held up in traffic but thank God they were able to arrive in time to carry the victim away before he bled out on that road median. I don't have the heart to watch a person in that condition, but knowing Nigeria for the zoo it is, we need to apply wisdom in our humanity so that our good will not come back to haunt us.

Why will the Nigerian police arrest a good Samaritan who was only allowing the milk of human kindness to flow? Why? Apart from being unlawful, it is also very immoral.

From your post, the police have ascertained that your dad is innocent and only trying to help.
If the police are not arresting him or taking him to court then you have to tell them to let him go and give that money you have already raised to the deceased man family.

If otherwise, please if it seems like it's intimidation, kindly look for a human rights lawyer they'd not tribalistic that will ensure your dad is allowed to go without any form of harassment.

The bolded is how Ajuri got his position after Buhari left.

The reason behind both of their appointments is distant apart. PBAT can do without Ajuri because Ajuri holds no significant political influence even within his geographic region. But can PBAT do without Wike as far as the South South region is concerned and I won't even limit it to just Rivers State alone?

So you intend the Minister and President to do the work of the IGP even when they have provided the security agencies with the needed equipments to solve the insecurity issues!!!!

How many households have boreholes in the FCT, many get water through wells dug in their compounds.

Really, street light is not a pressing concern?

Is that wrong

I think we are almost saying the same thing. I know there may be politics behind it but what do you expect them to write? I genuinely want to know. It is the most appropriate thing to write in this circumstance, don't you think? Do you remember the StatePress release when Sanusi the CBN Governor was asked to go?

Ajuri is one of the few that got lucky to remain in BAT's team because The President from Day 1 wanted his own men and he did this gradually. Some members were not happy he was left in the position and these are people within the same party. I await the outcome of Wike's relationship with Tinubu because he too is like Ajuri when it comes to how some members of the party view him within the cabinet. I think Ajuri has done well for himself and he may still get lucky with another President. He has served 2 different Presidents. That itself is an achievement for his career.

Wike is not like Ajuri and vice versa.
Irrespective of what those members think about or have against Wike, it would be a hard one for PBAT to listen to anyone when it comes to Wike. There's absolutely no sin or crime those who dislike Wike have not done and even worse as far as politics and politicking is concerned in Nigeria.
If PBAT decides to put Wike away then it probably means the APC chances of winning another Presidential election is very slim and dangerous.
If you look well even amongst the Ministers, there are few and not more than 5 who have substance and what it actually takes to win even an election.

I think we are reading too much to this. That was the best thing to say, even in corporate world. You want to wish him bad? When people already have a bias against someone, they look for all clues to support it. I am not a supporter of the President and they could have managed the issues behind the scenes and giving us official statements. Even if it is true he has personal issues to attend to, ypu still want to wish him well. common guys!

The point behind my post is not that he is leaving based on medical issues due to a member of his nuclear family....for that is a story and a fictional lie.
The statement PBAT a telling him which they are telling the public is just a proof that he is no longer with them and there is no place for him in the administration again and in the future.

The solution to the current fuel crisis is to immediately sell off those dormant refineries to private investors to bring them back to life.

That will ensure there’s competition and sufficient product in the sector.

So you prefer the refineries to remain dormant with different administration spending huge amounts on Turn Around Maintenance that is not turning anything around while the staffs continue to receive salaries for doing nothing?

The President should shut down the refineries and pay off all the staffs. They have benefited for too long.

If there is any private investors let them go and build refineries as Dangote has done new and afresh.

“But, can we help it? Can we develop good roads like you have here? You see electricity being constant in quantity and quality. You see water supply, constant and running, and you see their good schools. And we say we want to hand over a banner without stain to our children?

Don't give meaning to what was not spoken...

It would have been better the so called Nigerian community that he was addressing asked him specific questions if he was referring to the price hike after he signed in the #70k minimum wage then we'll get his response but I guess that community there are not in touch with reality on here in Nigeria. This is the Emir that many claimed that is well educated, esposed, more civilized than Emir Bayero. Emir Sanusi in his usual cleverlyness and sentimental political tone is out to speak again. The power and influence he commanded when he was a CBN governor he did not aid the then FG whom he served to solved this so called crisis he's talking about. Emir Sanusi still did not do any when he was was crowned the 14th Emir. Emir Sanusi as CBN governor fought the PGEJ admnisration and forgot to address the challenges his Fulani herdsmen has had for years.
Now he speaks. You're finding soft landing with PBAT. You'll first have to sort yourself out with Bayero.

The FG through it's security agencies are destroying local refineries otherwise known as illegal bunkering sites who through crude methods refine the crude for petroleum products rangung from PMS, kerosene and diesel whereas the FG have blatantly refused through the petroleum minister and MD of NNPC to ensure the nation's refineries built during the military regimes of old refine crude into it's derivatives.
It's no shame that we are not a serious government and people when it comes to maintaining government owned establishment.

Now, he is the Minister for Petroleum, ordinary refinery(ries) can't refine even after post dated timelines. What is your point? Is a monarch suppose to show partisanship? Is a monarch suppose to be a card carrying member of a political party? Did you watch the video? His remark was really unbecoming of a traditional ruler that is suppose to be the father for all. Do you know the implication of his remark. It means if there is a land dispute in his kingdom between a pro -Wike supporter and a Pro-Gov. Sim supporter he is most likely to rule in favour of the former.

His action as exemplified in the video is to be expected because he is a Wike imposed monarch. He isn't from the royal family and hence was never eligible to be a king.

Our monarchs in Rivers state should learn to emulate the posture of the king of grand Bonny kingdom. That man doesn't meddle nor involve himself with the political class in Rivers state. You don't see him taking side. And that is why he commands great respect.

He is not the first monarch to do that. Infact Gov.Fubara becoming a governor enjoyed this same partisan politics from this monarch and all others over other political aspirants in the last elections. Let's stop all this sentiments and pretentions just because a former governor and his successor are having issues and because many detest the former they have now become righteous and holy.
You all enjoyed it when the former was doing it and having his way and no one condemned him. Don't do that now. Let's stop the hypocrisy.
