Don't waste your time. That guy is a fool.

If you say the appeal court judgment is only about jurisdiction and that it doesn't return Amaewhule, why do you need to appeal it?

Just concentrate on the substantive suit which you say is at the federal high court.

Meanwhile, this is the CTC of the judgment delieved by the appeal court. Pay attention to the highlighted part. You'll see why you shouldn't waste time with any fool who tells you the judgment was about jurisdiction

Nice one.
I believe those standing on the side of Fubara and his 3 members know that not everyone will read or care to see the CTC of the judgment and even those who did will interpret out of context and add theirs to sweeten their stand. Likely in the event that the next court judgment don't favour them they will say someone have bribed someone somewhere.
I guess they are looking for which of the HC judges they would want their case to be in front of.
We wish all parties good luck.

It's unfortunate that 90% of you arguing here don't even know what the issue is about.. Oko jumbo has headed to the SC for clarification on JURISDICTION!!!
The substantive suit or meat of the matter I.e the case of wether their seats were rightfully declared vacant HAS NOT STARTED!!!

Supreme Court is NOT FINALISING ON wether they defected or not.. Supreme court is simply going to either agree with or disagree with the appeal court that YES, the state high court DOESNT HAVE THE POWER to declare seats vacant.

Once Supreme Court agrees that with appeal court that state high court doesn't have the power to hear the case... all the parties WILL PROCEEED TO Federal high court to now start discussing the main issue of wether declaring seats vacant was im order.

Are you still confused? It's very straightforward!!!

Like I said the SG and Oko and his co- travellers are just stalling which basically is their only game plan.
The verdict of the HC/AC/SC when the real case is brought up still does not change. It's as easy as ABC the outcome of the judgment.
There may be a way but it's just wishful thinking.

Those who assert must prove. You defected and your seats declared vacant. Go to court and tell them why you defected AND MUST keep or seat OR that you didn't defect at all. Don't turn law on its head please.

You took someone to court and you're asking the person to come say why he was taken to court?
I don't rigmarole. The same people who claimed that the FHC does not have jurisdiction but the SHC have now seen the judgment of the Appeal Court.
Is it this same case you people want to take to the SC?
You are the one who went to court , so it's your responsibility to show proof of defection in the FHC where jurisdiction lays and let the judge serve judgment.

All this stalling will not help anyone. I dont even know what is the quorum now of a 3 member SHA. Do you?
Religion / Re: Can Christian Couples Have Sex After Traditional Wedding? by bixton(m): 10:59am On Jul 07
cutecommend:
Is it bad for Christian couples to have sex after traditional wedding and before white wedding?

This is the answer..
Christian couples can have sex if traditional wedding is the last wedding as agreed by them or their parents etc, and no other wedding after that. But if a couple have another wedding after traditional wedding, please they should not have sex. Have sex only when all weddings are done. You can do only traditional wedding if you wish, you can marry in your father's house etc, as long as both parents approve it..
Lesson: Have sex after all wedding(s) are done.

If you are putting up a Christian or religious write up, it's better you put up Scriptures to back up your posts. Thanks and God bless you richly.
Religion / Re: Should Church Workers Confess To Church Authority When They Fall In Fornication? by bixton(m): 10:57am On Jul 07
cutecommend:
If a church worker commits adultery or fornication, should they tell their pastor or church leadership about it or just repent and move on?

God is loving, forgiving and merciful, and he forgives the worst sinner.

Now, when a church worker commits fornication or adultery, such worker should in wisdom inform the pastor and seek for prayers also. He or she may also tell a trusted church leader about such acts.

But firstly, the person should repent of it and then speak to a trusted leader or the persons clergy or pastor about such acts. This is in general terms in a bible-believing and good church. This also applies to committing adultery in marriage or cheating in courtship.

Such acts should be confessed to the partner, as God will not like such secrets to be hidden and covered.

You did not quote any Scripture to back up your posts.
Nevertheless, while it's not good to remain in sin or continue in sin but one should know that when a sin of such nature is confessed to your church leadership, you are bounds to abide by whatever punishment is given to you by the church and if one is not careful that disciplinary action would cause you to loose your salvation and consequently fall out of faith. Many have gone down this line and have died or never recovered from the ways certain churches handled it.

Remember after you have received the free gift of salvation the rest of his you live your life in a world full of darkness is a personal thing and also note that God is the one who forgives us of our sins, the sin we commit of our body and we should also forgive ourselves for allowing our bodies to be instruments of sexual sins.
Man forgives the sin that is committed against his fellow man.

Which structures are you referring to that the Jonathan's and Odili's built that Wike climbed upon and destroyed?!!!!!
You seem not to know the politics of Rivers State and the rising of Wike other than what you read on socal media.

My brother, the law is an ass... very soon you'll understand that statement.
Oko jumbo is just buying time. Infact, he would have not commenced any action at the Supreme Court and nothing will happen ,
Amaewhule is still the aggrieved "speaker" who is not recognised because he and his cohorts still TILL TODAY have not convinced any court that they didn't defect and should still keep their seats.. they are depending on issues of jurisdiction to still hang in there but it's not possible.

The governor doesn't recognise them so they MUST GET A DEFINITIVE RESOLUTION on the state of their seats..

It is not Amaewhule that will prove that he did not defect . It is those who took him to court will show proof that he actually defected and had right to declare his seat vacant.
This same people are those who were suspended on the floor of the house and are now parading themselves as members of thr house!!!!
Please who lifted up the suspension?
Was it the man who is now as CoS and how many house members were in on the floor when such suspension was lifted?

We seem to be playing around with trifle things and mixing it up because of hatred and dislike for someone.

Intermarriage happens everywhere, since we settled closer to the igbos, our ancestors married Igbo daughters to avoid marrying their own siblings and somehow the Igbo daughters married into our land taught their children the Igbo language. And this practice happens till date where children found themselves speaking their mother's language. If the Igbos claim we came from them, let's hear their own Kanu and Ojukwu story about the ancestors of Ikwerres. Before the civil war, the Igbos came to settle in Ikwerre land and began to rename our streets bearing our true ancestral names to their language names. Now during the civil war they killed us and did a lot of evil to us whom they now claim is their brothers (since they're unaware of the language-work of their daughters married by our ancestors). Now, when the war was intensified, they ran away (why would they run if they owned the place?). When we saw how we were tricked by those tribes, we took back our properties they stole from us, we won the battle.

I like this.
Imagine running just because of war to where is their proper and rightful land and left this who are the real owners to die and after the war they intend to return to claim what is not theirs......
The igbos apart from the fulani's are the only tribe trying to claim other peoples land even in this age of technology.

Juxtapose this with the fubara case and explain how it is different in line with public service rules. That's what I asked you since you claimed to know so much about it.

Well let's just wait till the dice is rolled and events makes Fubara to release documents he said he has for such approvals.

But Ngozi Iweala showed a written note from Jonathan as reason she moved $2.1bn to Dasuki's office and she was left off the hook. Can you explain why based on your deep knowledge of Nigeria civil and public service rule

Do you know the contents of that note. I am sure the office of Dasuki must have also sent her a note from someone in the Presidency and what she presented was a cover note.

Now, she produced that note based on her position she had a sum value limit as to the amount of money she can approve within her powers vested upon her from that office.
Beyond that it requires the President's approval before it can scale.
Now, these persons here are not career officers in the Nigerian Civil and Public Service.
Remember even OBJ said if anyone is to investigate his former Ministers especially people like her, he should be the one to be held responsible if there is any crime.

Do you remember the case of one fromer CJN Onnoghen that was suspended and removed during PMB first tenure and replaced with the other person from the North. I'm sure you do remember the allegation(s) that was used to remove him from office which wasn't the actual thing that got him in the bad books of the government.

There are certain amounts of monies that has to follow appropriate channels before approval even before it gets to the office of the AG, can Fubara say all those he said his Boss told him to approve followed the right channels?

Do you also think Fubara will be left off the hook if the authorities come to do their auditing? People will definitely say it's witch hunting if they start.

Even in the Military where they say "obey the last command" is not completely true especially if the command goes against rules, codes and conduct of operation, a junior officer can say No to the command or order of his superior officer.
Forget about sentiment, please ask those who are career officers in the Civil Service.

The only thing he needs to do is to put food on the table through massive employment of the unemployed, promotion of civil servants and payment of upgraded salaries, benefits and pensions. Massive key infrastructural projects that wil aid trade and commerce from rural communities to urban centres. Create more city centres outside the major key LGAs.

It's a pity that at the end of the day this Speaker and his co- travellers suspension will turn into vacation of office and it's their seats that INEC will conduct election for to fill. The former speaker who now is the Chief of Staff to the governor will be the one probably in the payroll of the RSG.
It's just a matter of time. These men will have no place to hide. I only hope they have houses overseas to go for self exile.

Because the NDDC gets it's funds from the oil revenue in the region.

Business / Re: How Do I Stop This Bad Habit? by bixton(m): 5:02am On Jul 05
AbokiWam:
My Salary is a little above #100, 000 naira, My friends know I am working which brings enormous pressure on me, They think it is a high paying job because of the Corporate dressing and all.

I don't Know if it is the hardship from this era, but now 4 out of every phone calls someone receives is usually them asking you to lend them money. Currently self I am skeptical of answering phone calls. Work Colleagues also do not spare you in this regard.

My problem now is I am too soft hearted, Any small story and I am already heading to my bank app to do transfer for,

Beginning of June, money I lent to a total number of 7 different people was running into almost 60,000 naira.
At the start of July, Only two people have paid me back (5000 & 4000)

Because of that I promised myself not to lend anyone money again from my salary, but Just this morning I got a call from someone I know , he was crying to me of his salary being delayed at work.
He pleaded with me to lend him #10,000 which I obliged, Knowing fully well I wont get my money back (He has borrowed 8k from me before without paying back)

I think something is wrong with me, I can even go to loan app to borrow and gift a friend if I don't Have

Same borrowing habit almost ruined my Dad, it destroyed his friendship with a close pal, he borrowed his friend #800,000 back IN 2011 when money still had value, the friend refused paying and that crumbled his business for a while.

My Mom have warned me if I continue, I might experience same.

I really need to change...
If every one should pay me money they have owed me, I would be able to buy honda baby boy
This is a bad habit I need to stop.

It's good to assist those who have financial burdens but you should also know that especially for those who borrow and refuses to pay back then you should know that such persons should not be given again especially if those persons are also on a work that gives them a monthly take home that's constant.

Anyways, this is usually my advice to those who have a soft heart to assisting financial.

(1) If you pay rent on the house you stay....... please plan towards building yours.
(2) Try to look for a side hustle to do even if it's an online business or if you have a trusted person whom you can partner with but ensure you check the financial records at least twice a month.
