Solababa91:The question to ask is does he have the capacity to make them not to succeed the next election? Is he ready to spend Rivers State funds on other capacity capable individuals in thr State who can contend just same way it was spent on him and State Assembly members by his predecessor to ensure that win the election that brought them in or is he forming to be saint? |
reddingtonblack:The State Assembly is the legislature and an arm of government independent of the executive arm. Whether the State Assembly members want to make a caricature and humiliate the Governor is not the issue. The issue is that the Governor put lay down his prideful shoulders and proove them wrong and do the needful. Even PBAT will not want to have anything to do with such individual given the circumstances any day and time. |
Kam2021:It is obvious the State governor will certainly not change. All that which he did after that suspension was nothing but a camouflague. The State governor is certainly not one to be trusted by PBAT. Any State governor who can't sway even a good half number of the State Assembly irrespective of an external force ia certainly not doing many things right... Anyways if his intention is to pocket the State Assembly to make them less of themselves then he is missing what it all is. He can't hide under the APC to not do the right thing constitutionally and abiding by the law. |
miracle002:It seems like these people did not listen to the statement made by the APC National Chairman....... Your national secretary is out of line if I understand correctly what the national chairman said... |
Khallicopyro:PBAT is a thorough politician and has a say in who will always become governor in Lagos State and no amount of holding red pen will keep that governor in office if he goes against the interest of PBAT in Lagos. So given the above, do you think PBAT will want to side with Fubara and push Wike to the gutters!!!! Do you really understand what politics of such is all about ? Do you know the repercussions of such and what it will cause and cost PBAT and the APC in no distanct time? |
Bsssss:There's no law that stipulates the State governor supervising the LGA. Maybe you're writing with sentiments and emotions. Whatever Obaseki did is long gone and past. By this new law granting the LGA autonomy, the LGA is also considered an arm of government of its own kind same as the State House Assembly. In as much as we may not like the infighting in Rivers State between Wike and Fubara ,etc, etc, we now are moving to a situation where Rivers State is now a pilot State where true independency and autonomy will be first and fully achieved and implemented even though there's an external force tending it that way. At the end of the day all will rest. |
Truthissupreme:Even a 4 year child will not even believe what you just said and take you like seriously.... |
Davimuyi:Everything money spent in politics is not just a bribe, it's a potential bribe. There's nothing done for free in that sector that will not require one to stay clingy to the one who brought him......it is one good will and favour done in return for another good will and favour when the need arises. That's why most times, certain delegates are given strict orders not to vacate their place of hospitality so that they are not coerced by another aspirant agent... |
Truths9ja:If only the ADC can do it's very first presidential primaries in a way that delegates will not be bought with money by any of the aspirants to gather votes and no statements that tends to be regional, tribal or religious then we'll know the true strength of each aspirant...... |
Truths9ja:In politics, ingratitude is an offence, and biting the finger that prepares your meal is even a more unforgivable offence,” the statement added. The most interesting thing is that PBAT knows those who are noise makers and those who command and make meaningful things happen and he will not let those noise makers who can't even command their own households cause him to lose a election. Wisdom is profitable to direct. |
IJAYA001:Appreciate and give honour to whom it is due without over doing it. Wike has been and is instrumental to the appointments of many Niger Delta sons and daughters in this PBAT FG administration, and such has never happened before where an opposition party member is doing such. A thank you is just the little that can be done, so why would one not do the needful... Do you know how much many others before him pay to lobby for appointments they may never get? |
Seeplusplus:I'm trying to figure out from what perspective your comment is coming from and based on what exactly? |
Pakute:We removed VAT on basic food items and essential transportation . Since about 90 per cent of poor households’ disposable income goes to food, this reform directly benefits them. When you look at the net effect, the poor are the biggest beneficiaries of the tax reform. I am trying to wonder how they removed VAT on basic food items and what exactly do they refer to as essential transportation.? Everyone purchasing such and even in the so called essential transportation, whatever that means has already paid VAT because these things have to move from place to place with the use of PMS/AGO in vehicles, etc.....!!!!! The end users will always pay such in the final pricing of such product or service... |
helinues:We have seen your type plenty.... When time reach, you'll receive sense by yourself. |
hohafrank:APC National will try to do that but it would not fly without the full support of the State Assembly members and LGA chairmen/councilors who are already APC members and automatic party delegates..... The APC National can't rub it even on the Zonal Chairman to do their bidding. They need to plan their concessions on time before they will make last minute mistakes that will cause them all heavily.... Those who understand this game know. |
helinues:You have a habit of supporting no sense. Take a look at your screen shot and make sense out of it...... what's the purpose of a stamp duty and VAT on money transferred to ones personal account ? Do you not know that a 100 deduction on that perosns money has made that money lose its value and intended purpose!!!! If someone asks you for #2500 to buy something and you send that transfer and that money ia taxed, will its intended purpose be achieved and how? |
Reloadedisraelp:No, that's not a good pointer for them to dabble into Wike issues without watching themselves. The only thing Wike could lose might be the FCT Ministerial position but fighting someone like Wike means you'll have your potent formidable enemies within your individual States empowered to contend with you during the forth coming elections and no amount of rigging will help the opposition in this kinds of fights because even the Courts cannot be ao easily bought like many think may happen.... If care is not applied, these infighting will establish and lead to better democratic processes. |
press9jatv:It's one thing to get the ticket and still not being able to govern the State.....!!! There are wars not meant to be fought because one won't see any significant reason to even celebrate victory.... Those who understand life know this. |
ceejay80s:Please show me those who are intelligent both former and current State governors since 1999 till date? |
gaskiyamagana:What truth is being told and who is saying it!!!!! This is the second time he is making such speech towards the judiciary and unfortunately it's the same judiciary he benefited from when Wike was governor and also made him governor afterwards.... |
press9jatv:If they like let them treat him with hacksaw and daggers. All these people won't even be seen around if PBAT loses re-election. They have nothing to loose. Alternatively someone can be said to win a fight but he would not be able to celebrate victory. |
Nemere2020:Wike is an exceptional and gifted politician who could take on the FG to court and still win a case that so many State governors as at his time couldn't even come to such achievement. |
press9jatv:Instead of trying to find ways to mend issues, they are throwing sands and escalating issues raising more dust.... Nobody is arguing that Baba was amongst those who fought the military till we got democracy... But where was Baba when Gov. Amaechi as an APC member could not ensure victory for Dakuku Petwrside who was the aspirant governor then and lost out to Wike who contested.. Where was Baba when Tonye Cole also lost to Wike and also Fubara...!!!! Wike does not need to be in APC to say what happens in Rivers State.....!!! We have seen this kind of politics and those who think they know it will find themselves to blame when the dance starts properly.... |
OLAADEGBU:This is one of the USA pattern to pay themselves on the back for doing something right..... But look back at Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, do you see any meaningful thing after the war and removal of America's perceived enemies from these countries? |
Sundaymessi:Questions for you...... (1) The APC governorship primaries will hold and the APC LGA chairmen/Councillors and RSHoA members are all Wike loyalists and all automatic delegates , how will the primaries play out? (2) Do you think PBAT will be commanding them on behalf of Fubara to do his bidding and fore go Wike? |
Gbadebo19:The banks will have to be very careful because people will over react and you'll hear banks building are caught up in fire when bank staffs become unnecessarily hostile and don't properly respond to questions when customers come to ask and get clarity for such debits....... |
franchasofficia:While you're act that can you mention any four countries the USA has invaded that has enjoyed peace, had real progress and stability? |
Sundaymessi:Questions for you...... (1) The APC governorship primaries will hold and the APC LGA chairmen/Councillors and RSHoA members are all Wike loyalists and all automatic delegates , how will the primaries play out? (2) Do you think PBAT will be commanding them on behalf of Fubara to do his bidding and fore go Wike? |
AMINDA:W The FCT Minister,Wike has proven and demonstrated support to PBAT without PBAT having to bargain with Wike. Gov. Fubara has not shown anything better as proof that PBAT can rely on him and with all the LGA chairmen who are on Wike's side who are already working for PBAT through Wike, what exactly is SIM bringing to the table that's not already there? I don't know how many valid supporters of Fubara that will be voting ad remember many persons in Rivers State would not tae Fubara's word to vote for PBAT for many don't like APC government whatsoever. So what magic will Fubara be pulling when in essence the LGA chairmen will actually be doing all the work? |
A lot of people have no reason to reason because they have nothing to reason about. Someone called another person AA "semi illiterate"......they are happy. The one called illiterate returned the favour by calling the other person "a university drop out" and people are still angry with the one called illiterate...... Why because they don't reason for out of hatred for the one called illiterate. Please what did the one called a drop out achieve while he was a Senator then compare that with what the se illiterate has achieved as a governor....... |
richmond500:A budget proposal is not yet a budget. It will be sent to the HoA for approval and passing into law. |
