Nigerian society is too tainted with religious extremism for even the highly educated to function properly. If you believe the world is coming to an end, why would you be FULLY committed to make your society a better place? Most Nigerians believe that this world does not matter because they are gonna START A NEW LIFE WITH THEIR SKY DADDY after the world ENDS. This is one of the most fundamental reason behind Nigeria's underdevelopment. So, until a sizable number of Nigerians are committed to creating HEAVEN on this Nigerian EARTH, rather than awaiting some sky Daddy to descend from the sky and save us, corruption and underdevelopment continues to no end.

So young man, could you please explain what brought about nature, your existence, the air you breathe, the animals, the water bodies, the universal bodies, the demonic world and the rest you know if what you wrote up here make sense to you.

From a reliable source, the Road has been earmarked for rehab though.

There is nothing in the 2017 federal budget for this road, it was stated as one of the roads for rehabilitation before 2019. This road has been like this for years, Lagos government can at least fix the Lagos end of the road, that was what Fashola did for some years when he was a governor, now as a minister and he knows better, I don't the problem, let's look at the slow pace of work at Lagos Ibadan express way, this government has been a hype.

It's been a long time we have been experiencing this side of the road and both the commuters and the car owners are at the receiving end.

Can't remember how many times I have changed shaft, bow-joints, breakpads and low arm bushing this year alone.
Between High School and sawmill sometimes we spent two hours for a less than 500-meter journey. This ordinarily should take 1 minute.

We are part of Lagos State, hence Governor Ambode kindly come to our aid.

At Op, this road is worse than this pics you posted, and it is so bad down to sagamu, the ogijo end of it is a dead trap with trucks carrying containers falling on a regular basis. I onced posted the video to one of the special advisers to Ambode, and this road has been like this since last year, Winners chapel came to the rescue last year and I learnt they were fined.
This is an industrial area and a major federal road with so many steel industries, this government is not serious.
