You will not find one world class hospital in any of those states. No proper road network or mass transit system. No proper power generation(Do remember states are now allowed to to generate electricity). Yet the people in those states will never protest. A state like Delta is making enough revenue to almost be independent of Abuja. They can fund industrial development, agriculture,tech... but no, you go to Warri, Sapple or Ugheli and the places look like slums. Same for most of the other SS states. It's a real shame |
GEJ should AVOID helicopters. |
GEJ is the game changer. Atiku knows this. The North will support him massively as they know he can only do 4 years. PO best move is to support GEJ, in return for either a powerful minister position (finance preferably) or chief of staff. The reality sadly is the North and SW will not vote for PO meaning no route to victory for him |
tonesky:PO has no route to victory. The power brokers in the north do not trust him |
GEJ is the ONLY person that can defeat Tinubu. The North will totally vote for him due to the limitation of one term. They will go for a legally mandated one term on GEJ, over a promised one term from PO. PO should fall in line and be a major player in a GEJ administration. |
Forkthiefnubu:200 years ago most English were living in slums and child labour was common. Today the country is effectively broke, with debt more than 100% of GDP. |
SmartPolician:Calm down. The Bini kingdom was doing oil palm trade with Portugal for decades before Nigeria was created. The current problems with Nigeria are more to do with the nature of the imperfect union, forced together by the British. Even with all these issues we are making strides, and turning things around. The future is bright |
Just saying this shows they are not serious. No FG can provide uninterrupted power in Nigeria only the private sector can do this. They need to put the necessary framework and finance in place, so that the likes of Rabiu and Dangote can go into power in a big way |
If its Atiku V Tinubu, then I can guarantee Tinubu will sweep the SS. There's no way SS voters will troop out in large numbers to vote Atiku. If its PO v Tinubu SS may well vote PO If its GEJ v Tinubu, GEJ will sweep the SS The best option for the North is to pair GEJ with a young progressive Northerner like the Kaduna Governor. No way can Tinubu defeat such a combination |
Have you seen GEJ recently? The man is looking fresh and healthy. He's traveling the world on international assignments. Why would he want to return to Aso Rock? Moreso just to help the very northerners who kicked him out |
DevilsEqual:IPOB already claim Warri as part of Biafra. Not sure how they came to that conclusion 🤔 |
Farook was quite crass and unprofessional. Just because you may have been told something in confidence, does not mean you announce it in public, unless you have solid proof to back it up. Is there any divorce certificate between Aisha and late PMB? Is there any record of a divorce hearing? some people just love to gossip like kids |
uzohrome:The so called subsidy was a racket. Yes fuel was cheaper but the subsidy was killing our economy, there was also persistent fuel scarcity. as fuel was being smuggled out to other countries. Tinubu's reforms have been painful but essential. Both PO and Atiku had also said they would have removed the subsidy |
The message from Jagaban will be simple, ' If you want crude to flow to your refiniary, you better get all the Northern Emirs on side for my re-election' |
CodeTemplarr:He was imposed on the state. No way the sophisticated and cultured people of Edo would vote for such moronic individual. |
As usual the problem is with so many people is they don't have a plan. The UK on average is better than Nigeria especially between the family raising years (25-45 approx). Health care, education, security etc Once kids have grown and are in University, the UK does not have much to offer. Most people by that time reach a ceiling in their jobs, and find it hard to move forward. This is the time when Nigeria is actually a better option, IF you have invested wisely. Advice: Raise your family in the Uk If you can, get your papers sorted , so you have access to the free health service, and build at least 3 properties back home. That way you can return to Nigeria in your 40's-50's and live ok on the rent from your properties, and if for any reason you have health challenges, you can always return to the UK |
This simply adds more fuel to the 'Jilbril' fire |
muyico:Dose Dangote not have investments in other countries? If Nigeria divides his investments will simply become foreign direct investment in the new country. |
I understand why many people are cynical about this, but the simple truth is the Nigerian economy is much bigger than is officially reported The informal 'Cash in hand sector' is massive, and its only right that efforts are made to include it in the GDO figures |
If Tinubu develops Benin Port, then 100% he will get my vote! |
Any supporters of PO that want him to run as a vice to Atiku, are sadly naive and deluded. What infuence does the VP have in Nigeria? None whatsoever. All the attributes of honesty and integrity that PO possess will be worthless in an Atiku lead government. Look at what happened with Osinbanjo. An upright gentleman who had zero influence on the monumental corruption in the Buhari administration. If the reality of the Nigerian political landscape is that a man like PO can only be a VP to a crook like Atiku, then I would prefer Tinubu to get a second term instead |
A fine soldier and true patriot. In their time Boko Haram would have been wipped out in 2 weeks. |
EXCELLENT!! Now people should face their useless governors and DEMAND power generation from them. No more blaming Abuja |
ruggedtimi:Things change. In 1967 and 1973 6 Arab nations barely hit any Israeli cities, yet in 2025, despite the iron domestic, Iran is raining destruction on Tel Aviv and Hafia. You'll be surprised Iran may already have cells with drones inside the US, just waiting for the order |
For its size, the UK is doing amazingly well to have 4 in top 10 |
NeckingNgulping:Exactly how will you secure your votes? Go back and review what happened in 2023. INEC made up numbers out of thin air. Whatever way you vote, Tinubu will be declared the winner. End of story |
Valar morghulis...All men must die. This is the fate that awaits us all |
OP, you are quite IGNORANT. In the US most of their houses are built with wood. Bamboo is extremely tough and is even used for bridges. |
There are still powers in the North trying to get GEJ to run in 2027. He's the most desirable candidate for the North as he can only do 1 term. Make we dey look |
I do not understand why the man got an honor in the first place. He had just one just one job to conduct an election and announce the result. He did not do that. Tinubu has a very big heart! |
