We should definitely aim to improve interconnectedness across Africa. Travel between Black African nations should be visa free, and everything should be done to encourage cross border investments and studies. I don't agree with any talk of '1 president' We are different peoples and nations. The Nigerian experience shows the problems when trying to force different people into one single nation. Lets celebrate our differences while working together as much as possible. With a population of over 1 billion people, Sub Sahran African can be an economic mega zone with free trade and visa less travel for its nations. However North African must not be included in this, or they will just import Jihad across Africa

You will not find one world class hospital in any of those states. No proper road network or mass transit system. No proper power generation(Do remember states are now allowed to to generate electricity). Yet the people in those states will never protest. A state like Delta is making enough revenue to almost be independent of Abuja. They can fund industrial development, agriculture,tech... but no, you go to Warri, Sapple or Ugheli and the places look like slums. Same for most of the other SS states. It's a real shame

GEJ is the game changer. Atiku knows this. The North will support him massively as they know he can only do 4 years. PO best move is to support GEJ, in return for either a powerful minister position (finance preferably) or chief of staff. GEJ is the ONLY person that can defeat Tinubu. The North will totally vote for him due to the limitation of one term. They will go for a legally mandated one term on GEJ, over a promised one term from PO. PO should fall in line and be a major player in a GEJ administration.

If its Atiku V Tinubu, then I can guarantee Tinubu will sweep the SS. There's no way SS voters will troop out in large numbers to vote Atiku.
If its PO v Tinubu SS may well vote PO
If its GEJ v Tinubu, GEJ will sweep the SS
The best option for the North is to pair GEJ with a young progressive Northerner like the Kaduna Governor. No way can Tinubu defeat such a combination

Have you seen GEJ recently? The man is looking fresh and healthy. He's traveling the world on international assignments. Why would he want to return to Aso Rock? Moreso just to help the very northerners who kicked him out

The so called subsidy was a racket. Yes fuel was cheaper but the subsidy was killing our economy, there was also persistent fuel scarcity. as fuel was being smuggled out to other countries.
Tinubu's reforms have been painful but essential. Both PO and Atiku had also said they would have removed the subsidy

The message from Jagaban will be simple, ' If you want crude to flow to your refiniary, you better get all the Northern Emirs on side for my re-election'

As usual the problem is with so many people is they don't have a plan. The UK on average is better than Nigeria especially between the family raising years (25-45 approx). Health care, education, security etc

Once kids have grown and are in University, the UK does not have much to offer. Most people by that time reach a ceiling in their jobs, and find it hard to move forward. This is the time when Nigeria is actually a better option, IF you have invested wisely.

Advice: Raise your family in the Uk If you can, get your papers sorted , so you have access to the free health service, and build at least 3 properties back home. That way you can return to Nigeria in your 40's-50's and live ok on the rent from your properties, and if for any reason you have health challenges, you can always return to the UK

Any supporters of PO that want him to run as a vice to Atiku, are sadly naive and deluded. What infuence does the VP have in Nigeria? None whatsoever. All the attributes of honesty and integrity that PO possess will be worthless in an Atiku lead government. Look at what happened with Osinbanjo. An upright gentleman who had zero influence on the monumental corruption in the Buhari administration. If the reality of the Nigerian political landscape is that a man like PO can only be a VP to a crook like Atiku, then I would prefer Tinubu to get a second term instead
