Where is the charging network across the country? Even in the developed world, charging network are still patchy in many areas.

The focus should be on gas which is readily available in large quantities.

More like the reward of bad citizenry! Citizens cannot sit with arms folded electing criminals into office each election cycle yet expect things to magically turn out well. Never in the history of the world has it ever worked out that way. undecided

What we have in Nigeria are clear examples of bad/terrible citizens who don't really care for the collective welfare of the country and its people. They may say they do with their tongues but action, they say, speaks louder than words! undecided
100%. Nigerians are the worst citizens on earth. Corrupt and selfish. Thats why all this lawless impunity can thrive.

Sorry but Nigerians are to blame for all this.
They continue to elect bad leaders
They continue to celebrate ill gotten wealth
They continue to shun anything good and proper, and instead value short cuts and 'get rich quick'

I have NO SYMPATHY for Nigerians. The day I see a Nigerian criticize his/her own Parents/Siblings/Friends for corruption, is the day I will know we have started being serious. Nigerians only complain when they are not the ones looting. The moment they or those close to them get into a position to loot, they will keep quiet and join the looting train

Thank you. Too many people simply don't understand what Buhari did to this country. It will take at least a decade to recover from his misrule

There is nothing indefinite about what Nigeria had in place. Even China continues to peg its currency to its advantage to this day and no one knows when it intends to stop doing so. undecided

The definition of devaluing the Nigerian currency was a terrible one made by Tinubu. undecided
Are you really comparing China and Nigeria, China can afford to peg their currency, due to their massive trade balance with the US. Nigeria practically imports everything upto toothpicks, how can such a nation, with a massive demand for dollars, maintain an artificial rate? It's simply not possible. Nigerians need to face facts

You make Tinubu seem even more a fool with this claim of yours. undecided

The CBN is not a commercial bank and so its giving of a special rate to Dangote alone meant it was illegally acting in a capacity it ought not to. That problem is easily resolved without jeopardizing the value of the Naira for all Nigerians if we are indeed to assume that was what Tinibu's intention was. But that is obviously not the truth. We all know this now. undecided
Dangote was just an exemple of those that gained from the former system. The bottom line is No nation can maintain an artificial value for its currency indefinitely. Sooner or later the currency needs to be allowed to find its true level.
Politics / Re: Tinubu’s Naira Devaluation Worsens Cost Of Fuel Importation As Nigeria Spent N5T by bjdon: 4:19pm On Sep 12
I hold no brief for Tinubu or any other Nigerian politician, but let's please try and face facts. Tinubu did NOT devalue the niara. All he did was remove the fake 'official rate' that used to exist, which was nothing more than a CBN subsidized rate, that was only available for the likes of Dangote and co. Who on this platform ever got FX at the so called CBN rate? Nowhere in the world does that kind of nonsense exist.
Tinubu has a LOT of faults, but at least he's facing a few of the issues that have held this nation back for so long. Sadly due to his own corruption and neopotic tendencies he will not be able to move the nation forward in any substantial way.
Politics / Re: Back To School: Women, Children Struggle For Food, Transportation by bjdon: 2:28pm On Sep 12
The suffering many are experiencing os due to widespread rot in thr system. State and local governments allowed the primary and secondary schools to rot, due to corruption, hence the reason many people now need to pay private school fees. In the developed world its only the very rich that send kids to private schools. Nigeria has not been working for a long time.

India sends rockets to space, has nuclear weapons and is a global leader in IT, that does not stop them have traditions. 31st October the whole nation will come to a halt to celebrate the Diwali festival. A people can have culture and traditions while also developing and being modern.
You may have also noticed during the coronation of King Charles last year, there were some parts of the ceremony that were kept hidden. Even the British have there own ancient traditions and customs.

Northerners always think they are smart, and they can find a greedy southerner to do their dirty work for them, this time have failed. It's either Tinubu or Obi in 2027. End of story

Harsh but soooo true. In a sane country APC should not have a won a single state in the last election, based on Buhari's misrule. You will fined so called educated people defending Tinubu simply because of tribalism. Things were a fraction of this, when they came out to do 'occupy Nigeria' now they are all quiet. However bad it is now, just know it's going to get a LOT worse. The global economy is focused to slow next year, meaning a sharp reduction in crude prices. Nigeria US already effectively broke, and the situation will get a lot worse.
My advice anyone who has access to secure land go into farming.

The man is at the forefront of advocating for GMO seeds and products for African countries, but some people thinks it is a good thing, but it is an evil plan to the core.
If you use the GMO seeds for your planting, yes you will have a very very bounty harvest, more than 400% of the normal seeds, but the seeds you get from the GMO harvest can never be use for another planting season unless you go back to the company that sold the previous seeds to you to buy another seeds to plant.
As time goes on the land will started to reject normal seeds except GMO seeds only.
Their plan with this GMO stuff if it succeed is to eventually enslave Africans and also to control the population.
100%. We can't relay on the old cargoes to defend us on this one. The youths need to mobilize and on the lookout, else they and their unborn generations will be slaves to GMO masters in the US.
Also remember that Gates has clearly stated in the past that the worlds population is too large and needs to be reduced. Where do you think he sees the reduction coming from?

Tinubu does not need to rig. As long as the opposition is divided, and the notrh continues to refuse to support the SE, Tinubu is guaranteed a second term.
If Atiku announces that he will not be contesting in 2027, then I'll know the opposition is serious.

I don’t like Obaseki, but the Oghoghobi people ought to have done their findings before purchasing government land. Just walk into EdoGIS, conduct a search on the land you want to buy and you game.

Again, Obaseki performed abysmally in road development. I stay on PZ road off Sapele Road. Going home is hectic as Sapele Road is in bad shape. Obaseki can argue for all we care that Sapele Rod is FG road, but na Edo indigenes Dey stay there and he can do more than wait for FG or put up notices that it is a FG road. However, in terms of human capital development and civil service, Obaseki will get an A1, quote me anywhere. If you are in Benin, I can take you around and show you that.

That said, Asuen himself has a rich CV that we cannot look away from. Same with Akpata. If it’s your company, will you leave the both and employ Okpebolor?
My brother on the matter of roads, Obaseki hands are tied. Do you think if he had the ability to fix roads like Sapple road, he would not have done it? All na contract! In Edo we are so unlucky that so many roads are federal roads, due to our geography. Obaseki is nit to blame

My Edo people please hear me well.

You are NOT voting for Obaseki in this election. Weather Ighodalo wins or looses Obaseki is fine. The question you must all ask is 'Who do I want to be in charge of Edo state for next 4 years?'
With the mess we have in Abuja, we can't afford a double disaster by having a waste pipe as governor in Edo. The APC guy is practically an illiterate, in a sane land a guy like should be nothing more than a ward councilor. Ighodalo and Akpata at least are educated people who can understand the complexities of govt. We know there are many people with regrets now for how they voted in the presidential elections last year. Please don't make the same mistake in Edo state.
