Edo number 1 under my able governor, Godwin 'Red Eye' Obaseki.

Obaseki has been a GREAT governor of Edo state. He's put in place a solid foundation for his successor to build on. Most importantly, he kept us independent. Edo state funds are not going to any godfather monthly. For this alone, he will have my unending gratitude.

The FG could do the folowing:
Designate Air Peace as a company of 'Strategic National Importnace'. Give them access to extrmely low interest rate business credit, direct from CBN. Give them tax exemptions for the next 3 years. Give them waivers on aiport landing costs at MM Airport.

All these will help them in the price war with the foriegn airlines.

Air peace should look at offering full ticket options, for example Enugu/Owerri/Akure/Benin/Asaba.. To London. If someone can book from Asaba, check in your luggage in Asaba, fly to Lagos and then to London, that will be big advantage and many pepople would go for that. The same on return, you check in your laugguage in London, and pick it up, when you arrive in Enugu/Asaba/ Benin..
Air peace should leverage their domestic network to offer a full serive that the likes of BA and virgin can't

One thing I know for sure PDP is losing the state to APC. From feeders I get from Edo North they are not happy with Obaseki and PDP, this region will decide the winner of this election, and as we speak right now no strong PDP member from that side that can gather vote for them. Oshiomole's influence is still very prominent in that region . I'm 100% certain that APC is winning the region landslide. As for the Edo south and Central the votes will be evenly distributed hence Obaseki and PDP are gonners.

Totally agree. Obaseki is a master fighter. If you watch Mafia movies or read mafia books, you'll see that traitors are seldom trusted by those they thought they were helping. Once you betray your principal, the next one will always be thinking 'This guy betrayed his principal, he can betray me as well' Obaseki was NEVER going to support Phillip's ambition because of this.. Philip should have read the situation and worked with Obaseki to remain relevant in the next dispensation. Now he's finished. Obaseki and Oshimole will even do back door deals as Oshimole's candidate was schemed out by APC.

EVERY state in Nigeria should have a domestic power programme, including the requisite legal backing for an internal power market, generation and transmission. People need to DEMAND more from their states and LGs. The days of waiting for Abuja to solve everything are over

Power generation is now off the execuive list, so every state should follow Abia and build their own power stations. To hell with this centralized model, which only exisits to fleece the south for the benefit of the North. Let every state take care of itself. No more yeye national grid that never works anyway

Obaseki the best governor in Edo states history. Some people don't understand all the things the man has done I pray his selected candidate wins the election, to continue the good work

100% agree. Politics is all about alliances. Both El-Rufai and Tinubu had in the past rained insults on Buhari, yet that did not stop them and others from joining up with Buhari to unseat GEJ. Once it becomes clear to PO that he can't win on his steam, he will make a deal with a northerner like EL-Rufai, just like after 4 attempts, Buhari knew he had to make a deal with Tinubbu

Northern Elders should be putting pressure on Northern governors to do their part. SW governors invested in Amoketun security outfit which helped to reduce the incidence of kidnapping in the SW. Edo invested in local vigilante groups. The issue of security can't be left to just the FG
