You do know that the only NATO has actually gone to war, was to support the US in Afghanistan after 9-11? Many European soldiers died in that conflict. Left to me NATO should be dissolved. Europe will step up to the plate and take care of it's own defense. In many cases European weapons are actually superior, but NATO procurement always favours the US. Let Trump go and deal with Mexico. Europe will be fine

I agree. At the same time what is good for the gander is also good for the goose. He should decentralize the ports in Lagos, and make sure Onne, Calabar, Onitsha and the rest are functioning. He should also mandate foreign missions and embassies to decentralize their offices to 2-3 geopolitical zones.

The Bill must pass. Those who contribute more to the pot, should get more out of it. ALL regions need to wake up and become more productive. If it was left to me, I would scrap ALL derivation as it's not in keeping with a true Federal structure. States and LG are supposed to be fully autonomous fiscally.
The current system is actually very BAD for the North. It makes their leaders lazy and addicted to allocations, which keeps them in poverty as the allocations are not enough due to their massive populations.

It really dose not matter if the tax bill passes or not. The genie is out of the bottle, there is no way the next generation of southerners will accept the status quo. No way. The North can not continue to live off the south. In fact if care is not taken, even more extreme positions will arise in the south, calling for total fisical restructuring and an end to any form of derivation Let each state stand or fall on it's own resources and revenues.
