Imagine two rail lines with the outdated one for taking cargoes from the SS to North and the modern one for Northerners to ease transport yet one person called it Eastern Rail.

The Notorious Eastern Rail will be a Rail line that will run from Port Harcourt to Maiduguri on two rails.
Narrow Guage - For the SS and SE parts it pass through which is from Bonny to Port Harcourt, Owerri (through Nnewi), Awka, Abakiliki to the North. Mind you this is a one way line cutting through these cities.
Now the problem here is the rail line of choice (Narrow Guage). This particular rail line is outdated and mostly used in transporting cargoes (Their true intention). In fact it will not be a new rail line but a rehabilitation of the abandoned British colonial Narrow Guage rail rotting in Eastern (that is basically patching it up). Travelling on it is unrealistic and will take up to a full day to travel from Port Harcourt to Awka

On getting to the North, the rail line after offloading it's cargo for the Northerners switches from Narrow-gauge to Standard Guage(the type used for Lagos-Ibadan railway) the new rail line will now connect Abuja to Kafanchan from their to Gombe and her towns , Adamawa and her towns and finally Borno and her towns. This will now ease transport cost and time because the train to be used in the Northern side will be high speed trains in contrary to the Cargo ones in SE. Mind you the cargo ones are not importing to SE but to channel to North.
After reading this and discovering that this railway is actually for channeling cargoes to the North and for transportation in the North, is it safe to call it Eastern Rail or Northern Rail?

PS: 1) Rail line determines the type of train that runs on it.
2) The train that runs on Narrow Guage line is different from a Train that runs on standard Guage (No train uses two different rail line)
3) 3/5 of the world railway is standard Guage (ideal for high speed and human transport ie Modern/contemporary)
4) Narrow Guage does not support high speed and is ideal for Cargo transport (not ideal for human transport because of low speed ie Outdated)
5)They are not actually building a new narrow Guage but to patch up the existing abandoned colonial Narrow Guage
