PoliticsRe: Kayode Fayemi Visits The Homes Of Two Farmers Killed On Their Farms by BKayy: 12:57pm On Mar 07, 2021
I blame SW media for this farmers death. They convinced them that nothing is happening instead of saying the truth and tagging BBC, Dstv, Nta and other agencies when one is killed like the people that value their lives do.
Come to think of it Ekiti have not been in the news for a time now during this partitioning of SW and they are the ones with fertile evergreen land.
Fulani Herdsmen should consider Ekiti too. They have green fields they are not using.

As simple as that. They know the answer to their problems but they want to play strong head forgetting God didn't create them for land tussle.

Are they implying that all the drums of war been beaten by SW are just noise making? Empty vessels?

IBB and his quote comes to mind again
These guys seems to know Yorubas more than we do.
This proves they really spent more than 200 years together before the establishment of Nigeria like they always remind us

Don't mind me my brother. They said we should be appreciative of other people's culture. So I'm trying to speak well of the soup though I know and have ate it very well

Nnaa this your argument is becoming annoying.

Almost all African ethnic group from Cameroon, Ghana,Togo, Mali, etc, all the palm oil belt, have a local soup they cook with palm fruit extract. Are you now you now saying they are all Banga soup?

Listen, what makes Banga to be Banga is the vegetables, spices ,etc they use to prepare it. It is not same as Ofe akwu because our spices and vegetable differ and those are what makes Ofe akwu, ofe akwu. The Nchawu, the local garnishing, etc.

Saying that Ofe akwu and Banga are same is like saying jollof rice and fried rice are same because they are both prepared with rice.
It doesn't make sense.
They don't add vegetables to banga and the mode of preparation is similar except they don't add all or should I say half of the spices that make ours ofe akwụ. Banga is more like incomplete ofe akwụ. The taste is different
FamilyRe: Old Black Men Are Neglected And Die Early Abroad by BKayy: 9:51pm On Mar 06, 2021
Everybody must not die a peaceful death.
I support those running abroad.
All hypocrites with no sense of nationality should leave the country for Patriots that want to fix it. For example I am a proud Igbo man I believe in an Igbo only state and I believe that we can build our country to our own taste.
So weaklings looking to reap where they did not sow can run to another man's country. The country the fore father's of the indigenes built with their blood and sweat. The country they fought countless wars to preserve.
If these cowards running to that place were called to help build those countries or participate in their wars especially Jihad, Crusade or world War, they will run to another one.
This is why I support racism.
Yes you heard right. I support racism

Banga soup with fresh fish fit scatter brain!!

Almost the same but not the same at all, the difference is the taste, the taste is the difference!!
When you eat Delta Banga soup, you will testify
LOL. I've eaten it. My friend normally prepares it with catfish. It leaves mashy feeling at the back of the throat (oesophagus). The taste doesn't come close to ofe akwụ which is more flat (prevents mashy feeling) and the vegetables prevent the after taste.
I spent a lot of time in Benin

Nah. Banga is very different from Ofe akwu in ingredients and preparation.
The only thing they have in common is palm fruit juice.
Ofe akwu is eaten with rice. Banga is eaten with Starch or something.

No one in Igbo land eats Banga. Its a soup limited to the Edo and Edoids(Isoko, Urhobo). I don't think anyone else outside that zone fancies the soup.
It is almost the same. The only difference is that we add vegetables and don't consider it as a soup (we have alot of then)

I have never seen or eaten Banga. Only hear of it or see it online.
I know its only eaten in Delta South, Delta Central and Edo state.
Ofe Nsala, a typical Igbo soup is the main soup in Enuani Delta.
As an Igbo the only non Igbo soup I can eat is those from Akwa Cross, Afang and Edikaikong.

I don't understand the criteria that made a regionally limited soup like Banga the number one soup in Nigeria. It doesn't make sense, and therefore the report is a suspicious one.

List of popular and generally accepted as delicious Nigerian soups.

1. Eguisi
2. Ogbono
3. Afang/Edikaikong.

Every other soup is limited to the tribe or region that owns it.
What they call banga soup is the ofe akwụ we eat with rice. Weird custom for different people

If one needs to be totally free, one should identify the root of his problem. The root of the problems of all Igbo is Nigeria
There is even military checkpoint there.

PoliticsRe: Kawu: "We Brought In Fulani From Mali But After Election They Refused To Go Back by BKayy: 9:43am On Mar 06, 2021
It was a deal that is almost similar to Bakassi peninsula (pledged to Cameroon to assist in the blockade)
The deal was to give the fulani grazing ever green land (something they don't have in the North). Check this whenever a Fulani Herdsman is caught he keeps reiterating that they had a deal with Nigeria.
The deal is supposed to be upholded and the part of Nigeria, they had in mind to give to the fulanis was the Eastern part (Igboland) but unfortunately for them, MNK came out from nowhere to defend it. Check this one out as well, when the crisis started, the first part of South to be included is SE. Now when they couldn't cope with the resistance they returned back North and started attacking Middle Belt, Nigeria trying to control the monster and not to live with them in the North, allowed them access to SW. SW leaders being part of the original plan felt handicapped but couldn't talk because they know the might of the North. SW leaders yearning for a savior discovered Igboho (their savior) . SW leaders accepted that and they are still in the process of patching Igboho up to reach the status of MNK in yoruba land. Check this before the saga was SW thinking of odua rep? No but now even governors mandate the anthem in their schools

I have observed, there seems to be a shift on Igbos on every social media platform these days.

Seems like most are shaking off the psychological effects of the civil war and years of constant stigma, and rising to their feets. People are speaking more boldly, more and more people are now owning our identity.

Who/ what do we thank for this mental shift?
You'll start from Chinua Achebe. That his book "There was a country" is the turning point in Igbo identity. Then most Igbos are ashamed to say they are one outside Igbo land. Even our senators and governors then don't wear Igbo attire. Then Igbo states were trying to make their states look more like a non-igbo state. We see Imo call themselves "Imolites" then Anambra people outside the state try to call themselves "Anambrarians", Abia "Abians", Delta state was officially a none Igbo state and the true Igbos were hiding from themselves. Then Achebe came with that book. It caused an uproar, Nigeria shook, politicians were shocked, Lagos was on fire. There were lots of media outlash on that book" There was a country". The outlash was so great that media (most especially Yoruba media) started interviewing people on the streets of Lagos on how they see the book (You can go and confirm this. It is on the Internet). The ordinary citizens rained abuses on Achebe. Even ordinary yoruba men made him an object of ridicule. They called him and Igbo un printable names (Then making fun of Igbo people is no big deal unlike now in Nigeria. Then most comedy in Nigeria were about Igbo. Half of Night of a thousand laugh was about making mockery of Igbo then. I remember then when Nigga raw was brought to perform in a comedy show in Kaduna, everybody got up and left)..... Will continue later

so you don't think America will not be concerned that the first lady is not with potus? Really? Because they didn't vote the first lady but the husband?

DIDN'T YOU KNOW THEY HAVE THE OFFICE OF FIRST LADY? RAN WITH TAX PAYERS...DIDN'T YOU KNOW SHE'S ON SALARY IN THAT OFFICE?

AMERICA WILL BE CONCERNED WITH THE PSYCHOLOGICAL STATUS OF POTUS WITHOUT HIS WIFE PROVIDED HE'S MARRIED...WONDERING IF HE'S quarrelling WITH HIS WIFE WHICH MAY AFFECT HIS LEADERSHIP AND DECISION MAKING..... THIS IS GOVERNANCE....

In as much as I detest both Nigeria and Buhari. Technically it doesn't matter if the first Lady is not in the country because the country voted for the husband not the wife.
You think Europe would have been where they are today if they allow inconsequential fellows leech on the government money like First lady stuff.
The first lady is no different from an ordinary woman in the country. Rulership is not sexually transmitted.
Lets be guided.
