Consider it done in the next decade. The Chinese are fond of building smart cities in Africa for no reason. They did it in Angola and wouldn't mind doing it in Akwa Ibom. I bet that it will be completed before they finish allocating plots in Eko Atlantic City. |
SlayerForever:The government just said 1.8% so that it will be as if we are accommodating (the same accommodation that brought us to this level, the same accommodation that will end the baboons in waste). They are far far less than that. Even population of Ibibio in Anambra is more than them. I wonder how people with no village manage to get up to 1% talkless of the point 8 added to it |
Something we all know. Everything you see in Nigeria is fake. This is the real description of the three major Ethnicities no cap. |
And please, nobody should misunderstand my last comment. Any Igala person you see in Anambra have a particular Igbo family that gave his grandfather the land they are farming and that agreement can be rescinded at any time because your new generation have started twisting the story to make you people look like Invaders or imaginary conquerors. Igala people are not indigenous to any part or town in Anambra and their population as a whole in the different Igbo communities they are scattered is not up to 1.8% of Anambra population. |
Klinee:Ka ndị Obosi nwetakwa gị na Awada a ina akpọ aha etinye Igala na akụkụ ya. It might be too late for you to explain that you are referring to a Rev Father. BTW do you Ken Olisa, the Lord lieutenant of Greater London? Do you know Cardinal Arinze of Vatican city? Should I now say that Ndigbo are indigenous to Britain and Italy because of those two? Igala people were migrant farmers that some Northern Igbo communities allowed to farm in the land they had no intention of using for a long time. They have no single hamlet or village belonging to them in Anambra On the last part, prove me wrong. Tell a village, square or hamlet that I will go in Anambra and meet at least 60% Igala speakers ( I am not even talking of above 70) |
Klinee:Onuku Igala |
Klinee:10% that nobody has seen. 10% that doesn't have a single owned community Bikonu ndị be anyị, has any of you seen someone (a living man) that is an Igala from Anambra? I am not talking about those people say might be descended from (because all those things are still subject to investigation) I mean a living walking Igala man that is from Anambra? No single Igala hamlet in Igala, talkless of village Igala doesn't exist in Anambra |
Igboid:Nwa Afọ amụsi ike. Whenever I see these Bini and Igala delusionists try their luck in western Igboland I laugh because when they come into Northern Igboland like Anambra, it will be more of a mockery. Imagine telling someone that you are from Igala or Bini in Anambra ![]() The person will just laugh silently |
Hotice085:Nnamdi Azikiwe didn't testify but started the stupidity, which is being corrected today by Ndị Onitsha. The same way Nnamdi Kanu, though didn't start but fanned the Jew story. Do you believe it? Answer my last question with "Yes" or "No" before anything else |
Klinee:Onuku Igala |
Hotice085:"Onuku Igala" meaning someone without normal reasoning (mọron) "Dimkpa Bini" meaning a weak man that looks huge (weakling) These are the common phrases you'll hear in Anambra. So what was your comment again? |
PHIPEX:Thanks for this. The only problem we had was that we allowed outsiders tell our stories to suit themselves. The stories later became what our children read in Schools and kids have a way of thinking that whatever that is written in a book is fact but that era is over. No single Igala community in Anambra |
Klinee:It is called "Onuku Igala" all around Anambra. |
Klinee:Mtcheww... Next. I don't have time to waste with liars. 10% na obodo ebe? No single Igala owned community in Anambra No single Igala owned village in Anambra. So whatever you are high on, get down from it. I am not those Igbo that entertain you lots stupidity. Come on give me one fake story. |
Please Mr cashsteady, this section is for reasonable people. Take your childish thread to romance where stupidity regions supreme. I believe you will find fellow idiots to waste time with you there |
Biafrarep:Forgive them. I don't think they know what they are doing. It is a general something. Just like this throwing Igala jabs at Anambra was actually started by the same Igbo people here who are not from Anambra but now e dey shame everybody including them. Some even take it to the next level by saying Obiano is Igala. Same with the Beautiful Obiano's Airport looking like a ware house. This is why they say never defame your brother in public because the person you are telling it to will use it to laugh at you. Remember this word he used to describe the Mall, it will be used by enemies of Ndigbo in few months time when it will be unveiled as the biggest in Nigeria. |
If my memory serve me well, the Structural engineer holding the seminar said that Igboland actually have no business with asphalt, except as a top for a very thick solid slab else it will be like sticking glue to wet substance. And also he said that the life span of the two places concrete ahead plus concrete requires less maintenance. Asphalt will require more maintenance every 3 or something years and will last for less than 20 years (average of 10-20 years depending on the maintenance), that is if the maintenance is followed religiously (something I think we cant boast of in Africa) but Concrete requires less maintenance (maybe whenever) and occasionally topping but will last up to 50 years So you see, no matter how much many will try to soil Umahi name or his peculiar achievement in that concrete road, one thing is certain, in the next 20 years Ebonyi will be one of the few or only Igbo state to boast of working road because at that time, all our asphalt has wearied out and politicians will start using it for campaign. |
Landmack:Nobody can compare asphalt with concrete especially in its advantages to moist retaining, clay like Igbo land soil. I remember listening to one seminar when I was in Bini and the structural engineer proposed that unlike the Northern part of Nigeria where asphalt is OK, for a lasting road to be done in the east that the contractora must make use of concrete (and that was almost 4 years before Umahi became Governor). I think that man's degree is not for fancy. Seeing him implement what took someone years of research shows that he did his homework before embarking on it. |
imaxdocuments:After that mall is completed it will automatically become the largest in Nigeria, Igbo pride and point of hate for others. Abụna nkọtọnkọ kọtara ihe aga eji kọ ya ọnụ (that is if you are Igbo) If we don't cherish ours, who will? |
abeeee:Mtcheww.. The era of peace have passed my dear. It yours right? Defend it when the time comes. Pray Nigeria doesn't break |
afube:There was a DNA test in 2017 and the result was "No ancestral link" This is times of Israel https://www.timesofisrael.com/messianic-jews-to-nigerians-youre-not-real-jews/ This is Nigerian media houses having a good laugh over the inferiority complex https://dailypost.ng/2017/08/07/new-dna-test-result-reveals-igbos-jews/ https://www.sunnewsonline.com/igbo-not-jews-reveals-dna-report/ You can submit your own sample to Israel, they will most likely entertain it and clarify you. Sometimes I just imagine the kind of laugh Israelis would be having over this inferiority complex, especially after the DNA test |
RobbStark:LOL Annexer. I will quote you by next year so that you can come into Ubani with your canoe to stop it. |
Igboid:It is because they don't have stories to rely on so they sought something outside to fill the vacuum. Zik was the one that started Onitsha-Bini story and now people are adding meaning to it. Prior to Azikiwe, Bini have no reason to say their influence passed Agbor. Half Baked Igbo historians like the one from Ohafia (I've forgotten his name) started the Ohafia, Abiriba,Ngwá and ohuhu Bini migration story. When people wanted to rely on Nri to displace the foreign stories, one man from Aguleri changed the narrative of Nri from Agukwu Nri to suit himself and his place Aguleri and said that he is the first son of Eri and championed the Israel/Jewish story that is driving our ignorant brothers insane today. Some even believe that Aguleri is that Important in Nri civilization forgetting that AGUKWU NRI still exists today. Some waste their pilgrimages that is supposed to be at Agukwu Nri to Aguleri. Well, I blame it on the first Igbo historians that collected bribe from some warrant chiefs to push a clan narrative over the truth. |

Imagine wasting time with a Yoruba. OK, you've had that two minutes of relevance, now move along |
DubaiLandLord1:Ask them. "By the time the fool understands the game, the players have long dispersed" - Ashanti Proverb. "All Ijaw land have land borders with each other stretching from Oron to Badagry"- IYC |
Igboid:You are welcome. The oleku in brymo's track is Yoruba that means different thing entirely. Now on the bolded, if Ndigbo in far away Abia and Imo can hear the Oluku/onuku that started in Northern Igboland, they could have heard about the series of mysterious invasions that contemporary Igala half baked historians are trying to make us believe. All those things are lies. Like I said, if there was an invasion, I, you and other Igbo people would have known. The same goes to Bini that are also making theirs up where as in reality their influence stopped at Agbor. |
DubaiLandLord1:Same way Ilaje, Apoi and Awori belong to the same Ijaw. Lead by example and tell your people to stop fighting Ijaw whenever they come to Ondo and Badagry |
JohnBullMySon:Thanks. And please, endeavour to speak out against it when you see any of your friends falling for it. Never underestimate what we can achieve as a nation if those of us that our brain are still working correct our erring brothers. Just those around you please. Save a life by saving the Igbo nation |
Obi1kenobi:Well said. |
Igboid:You have the idea. Infact you are close but let me give you the full gist. "onuku" came about as the way the Igala migrants, who are farmers at that time were calling themselves while romancing. It is a corruption of the word "Oleku" which means "my love" in Igala language. Like the old men explained to me. Such stupid way of expressing love or behaviour where the man will be behaving like someone lacking basic reasoning and be calling the other Oleku was totally strange to Ndigbo so they use the word to describe stupidity or someone with low reasoning. Ndigbo never considered Igala as equal, even today. So all those spartan invasion stories are lies. Total fallacy. They never happened. |
GreatBoss:Don't be deceived by this nonsense above me or that of Robbstark or whatever he calls himself. These are monikers designed to impersonate the indigenes in a bid to discourage the revival. By next year many real igbo groups will be visiting the two places. Both of you should come out then. Ndị ara |
