I can see that you know little of theology. A member of an ethnic group is one who represents and defends the interest of a group of people. Not necessarily by birth.

This is the main reason why I say that SE is the most tolerant region in this hell. If left for Igbo man, Weed and Gay marriage would have been legalized 50 years ago.

Besides, I don't think women ride Keke or any commercial automobile up there. So what does hisbah have against people seeing where they are going to?

The biggest lie in Nigeria is that Yorubas are present in Togo and Benin Republic.
This is a ballant lie. Have you ever wondered why they don't have serious relationship like the way fulani do with Niger and Chad. This is because they are not the same and the last time they met was during the Civil War the colonialists interrupted when creating Nigeria and it ended this way (picture below).
The people they are referring to as Yorubas in Benin Republic and Togo are actually the Egun/Fon people who don't see themselves as one and will fight you to death if you call them that. Try calling any indigene of Ogun state Yoruba in Ogun and see the reaction.

They are Egun, Egba, Ijebu, Awori, Modakeke and the Oduduwans(the ruling class)
The criteria of becoming the Ooni of Ife is tracing to the Oduduwa. A move to make sure an Egun (the original owners of the land) don't become Ooni

Sorry my brother, oil is not actually the reason why Yoruba want Nigeria to be one.
Yorubas were actually in the heat of civil war before the colonialists interrupted them.
Funniest of it all is that majority of people that inhabit the present day SW don't see themselves as yoruba.
Example is Egun, Modakeke, Ijebu, Egba and Awori. And these ethnic nationalities make up 80 percent of the SW.
The only people that are of Oduduwa stock as we know today is actually the ruling class in Ife.
Even in Osun, there is serious discrimination(something I will be exposing on this forum from now) between those that see themselves as the Oduduwans from the Owners of the land (Egun).
The only thing keeping them from killing themselves yet like they did few years ago when Modakeke youths stop moving vehicles and killed Ife (Oduduwa) people is the collective hate for Ndigbo.
Once Ndigbo are out of the equation, they will fight themselves till only one ethnic group survives.
Before the colonialists interrupted, the people with the upper hand were the Oyo. They were actually the ones given the name yoruba by the invading fulani at Ilorin (present day Kwara)
Till tomorrow, an Egun man never see himself as yoruba and will wrestle you to death if you call him one (I am a living victim of this)
