Onlytruth: You mean the best Igbo candidate for presidency? Well, we have many of them , but I'm only interested in those who can for example communicate important information to northerners using Hausa proverbs, and Yoruba things using Yoruba proverbs, and of course Igbo things using Igbo proverbs, just as a way to demonstrate his deep understanding of the issues facing those voters in those major tribes. Nigerians are not fools as people may think, and I still believe that people would vote for someone who would solve their problems. We have largely made ourselves unavailable for the top position heading towards next year. I no longer think it is a good idea.
Ability to speak all major languages is one of the areas where politicians these days are completely dwarfed by those of the 60s.
So, back to your question, someone like Emeka Anyaoku (though I think he may be too old to run the required campaign, and may not be able to speak in other major languages) comes to mind. There are others of course who meet those conditions I set earlier. Even Soludo would meet that if he can speak in Hausa and Yoruba. The man is a bundle of charisma. The most important thing is that the person must be of impeccable character. Someone Ndigbo can trust. Governor Peter Obi of Anambra state would also command that Igbo trust, but I don't think he is charismatic enough for this job, and I don't believe he can speak Hausa and Yoruba.
Bottomline is that we must find that Igbo man to run for us next year. He is out there.
Let's go get him! WHY DONT YALL JUST FIELD OJUKWU AND GET IT OVER WITH!?!?!!! |

Our leaders will meet soon and Ndi-Igbo will make careful decision on who we’ll hand over Nigeria to govern from 2011 onwards. Until then, hungry hustlers can keep busy; we rationalize their activities because we understand the economic situation in the country,” Ukoh said. Lol. Buncha clowns.lol. pinkriver: @ bk.babe he is from the Yuroba tribe. I am not familar with the various tribes?!? I would be interested in learning what you might know. Then u good! Nah, even the Ibo dudes is cool peoples, I just like yanking they chains on this site! Well, I'll say every human is unique. No two humans act the same. Cultural differences will occur! I've known Nigerians all my life and they seem like every other person to me,YET, some things they do always got me like "WAAATT" ! But on the whole, theyre a very loud bunch (amongst themselves) but kinda shy and timid among outsiders! Most of them are go getters, very nice and hospitable people, love to party. . . . BUT, beware, they could be real sleek too! Not saying this to alarm you cus u say ol' boi is a christian and all that good stuff, and he's a citizen (which shouldnt mean a thing even if he wasnt) so u know he aint just after you for the sake of getting the U.S passport. Just tread gently, he seems to be a good dude, go with the flow, follow ur heart, dont let his culture "disgust" you, learn and teach each other. I think u'll be aight! |

@Paddylo
You know the problem with people like Paddy Lo? They come to this country with a certain mindset, believing all the trash the media and their cab driving uncle (and "old people aszz" wiping aunt) has fed them which is:everyone, apart from whites, is trash! So, they live out here looking suspiciously at every black man (even the ones in suits) as a potential gun bur'ser! They do not assimilate, instead they move into the cheapest apartment they can find at the edge of the surburbs (on the border of the ghettoes they claim to be fleeing from), choose a white gal (usual the fat reject whom noone wants, or the ugly skinny one who's know as the town c*um bucket), drive a chevy, start hopping on skate boards ect just to feel white and get accepted by white people! And thats where destruction looms! They start engaging in "white acts"; snorting coke, pills, drinking ceaselessly and endlessly, looking down on "those niggers". . . .
Dude, I read ur posts and, for the love of me, I cant fathom how a man that tries so hard to sound intelligent can always, easily, come off as stu.pid! It woulda been understandable if u joke alot like some folks on here, but son, u TRY real hard to be this freaking intellect. . . . yet, u always fall flat on ur face! You think all, except whites, are inferior, right? Like I said if u hate Philly and the States that bad. . . . .GO BACK TO AFRICA!!! We're tired of condescending attitudes from non-citizens whom we give the gift of electricity, good transportation, and everything else that will guarantee good living only to be constantly slapped in the face with ungratefulness! |

"he's an igbo man, he is closer to igbos" bunch of dogs. I know. . . . . If it was to secede with the oil, they would be screaming "they are our cousins. People from all over the Southern Delta are Ibos; they are Biafrans!" But its something bad, so. . . "He's not Ibo. He is closer to the Yorubas. . . . " Same way Nzeogwu became an Hausa man! Buncha dogs! Right, The Amaka?!!? |

Jakumo: The maximum capacity of a standard(non-drum) AK47 magazine is 30 rounds, but to prevent magazine jams, it is advisable to limit the number of rounds to 28, so as not to fully compress the follower spring. To achieve rapid reloading of a second magazine, battle-front troops frequently tape TWO magazines together, head-to-tail, with a slight offset to allow clip insertion, such that when one clip empties, the taped pair can be flipped upside down to fit the second full banana clip for virtually uninterrupted firing until the entire 60 (or 56) rounds are spent, which can be a matter of seconds if the fire selector is set to full auto.
Preparatory to sustained firefights, several such taped pairs are typically carried in pouches for quick and easy access. Once u mentioned the bolded, I knew u know wut u talking bout! Not like these fools who think playing Grand Theft Auto equates battle. . . . |
