No, I didn’t.
Stella91:
Congratulations! Did you have fill a new DS160?
TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by Bkoks: 3:58pm On Sep 28, 2021
Lagos...it was originally booked for March 2020, so it has been a long time coming to this day.
piscesnow:
Congratulations. Please where was the interview, Abuja or Lagos?
TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by Bkoks: 8:44am On Sep 28, 2021
She got her visa this morning. She was asked reason for visit- to see my daughter and help out with baby.
How long is she staying for - 7 weeks
Just to say she was denied in 2019. I feel so relieved. Thanks everyone for your advice
Bkoks:
Hello,

My mum's interview scheduled originally since March 2020 is finally in 2 weeks time. It was moved 3 times by the embassy, as at last check, date is still intact in her portal.
I just want to know if I can fill a new DS-160 form, because circumstances have changed in the last 1 year, including reasons for traveling, my sister's status- job and marriage so she is now an immigrant.

Any advice will be appreciated.
TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by Bkoks: 7:08pm On Sep 15, 2021
So she got a job after grad last year, also married her boyfriend and now expecting. My mum’s reason for visit then (2020) was to see her and attend graduation, but it’s all different now. I might be overthinking but I don’t want it to seem like we lied.
anfanio:
Your sister's status changed, and not your mom's. You don't need a new DS-160

Thank you for responding!

Hello Bkoks

Your payslip and/or evidence of Pension should suffice. Tax should be the one the Company is remitting on your behalf (PAYE).

I did not include bank statements for employment - Just Payslips.

I also have self employment - invoices, bank statements and tax certificate were submitted.

All the best!

Hello,

I’m planning to submit my documents as a valuer as well. I want to submit last 6 months pay slips and 6 months statement of account. However, I’m not sure work place will give me their tax clearance, I hope that is not an issue.
toayojj:
Just to encourage us all on this journey. I assessed with VETASSESS for Valuer.

I applied for priority process,
paid on 11th of September 2020
got receipt on 14th Septemeber 2020
got a mail from VETASSESS approving that I was eligible for priority process 16th September 2020
got my positive outcome letter on 19th September 2020 (date on the letter was even 17th September 2020).

I claimed 11 years plus (including NYSC) work experience, but got 9 years as positive. NYSC wasn't considered and 1 year from my experience (1st employment) was used to calculate the qualifying period required to meet the skill level of the nominated or closely related ANZCO occupation.

meaning, if all is in order, the assessment process is done speedily. I was actually looking forward to September 30th, 2020 (considering the 10 business days timeline for priority process) for the outcome letter and it happened in 4days.

I wish us all the best in the process!
TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by Bkoks: 7:18am On Mar 01, 2020
Yes, she has me. But there is only one selection for occupation. That’s why I want to know if I should fill I’m retired or business?
bigbus:
Going alone is one change. She should think of other changes and how to answer questions in her interview. You would need to carry her along as you fill the form. I think it is worth mentioning the business, it is another tie. Does she have other children in Nigeria?
TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by Bkoks: 11:05pm On Feb 29, 2020
I honestly have no idea, she applied with my dad to go for my sister’s grad both denied. But now she’s going for omugwo
fkj950ax:
Let's start with last year's transcript. If you can, do share so the reason for the NIV not being approved may be GUESSED/known.

The VO will want to establish her situation/lot/circumstances as stated in previous DS160 has changed, to the new DS160 you want to fill.
And what was the reason for needing a visa then and now.
TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by Bkoks: 11:03pm On Feb 29, 2020
Her husband

who is sponsoring her trip?
TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by Bkoks: 12:01pm On Feb 29, 2020
Hello everyone,

I am applying for my mum's visa. My major concern is she is retired from teaching in 2016 and has been selling office wears for women since then, she was denied last year (I filled in retired), now that I am reapplying should I fill in business and write more about her office wears sales instead of focusing on her retirement and pension from FG.

I will appreciate your advise and response.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Bkoks: 12:05pm On Nov 04, 2019
Good morning everyone,

So I need help because I don't know what to fill.

I earn 237k every month as salary but also receive 220k every 3 months as reimbursable for petrol, car maintenance etc. The issue is I don't know how to fill it in my application form because I already filled the standard 237k in How much do you earn each month - after tax? query.
Where do I write the 3 months reimbursable.
Thank you

Can anyone help me out!
My sisters passport (with counterfoil) has been despatched out of VAC since last week Friday. I've not heard from the courier at all. Do I've to call VAC to complain? I don't even know the courier company used by them.

Hello,

I submitted my sister's passport for her visa to be stamped on the 31st of July, tried tracking it today and it's saying "no records found"

My question is, my sister dropped her passport with me in Lagos (she's back to Ado) can I help her submit it in VFS and also collect when it's ready? P.s. she signed consent for indirect submission and collection form.

Hello people,

I am a bit worried that I have not received any information yet, submitted my sister's online application 18th of May, Bio-metrics 24th May.

Oh well....Nothing is happening on her portal....this silence is too loud.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Bkoks: 12:55pm On Jun 19, 2019
Hello, please how did you book? I sent an email to both hospitals on Monday, no response yet.
Deane:
I just got booked for medical examination by both Qlife and IOM (Abuja) for 26th June. For the guys who have done medicals, please which of the 2 is the better option? Considering the likelihood of delay, service delivery, etc. I really don't mind going to any of them, but i just don't want to pick randomly without any reason.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Bkoks: 11:34pm On May 22, 2019
Thank you! We will do just that tomorrow.

Biometrics instruction letter? Isn't that the letter stating you need to submit your biometrics? If it is, I suggest you head to VFS Global tomorrow and do the biometrics immediately. If you've paid for the biometrics, then go with the applicant's passport and the biometrics instruction letter to VFS Global.

Good luck.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Bkoks: 11:07pm On May 22, 2019
