You all talking about Facebook, Twitter and stuff, don't forget Huawei is also leading in 5G technology which has applications like Internet of things (IoT), driverless cars etc.
Imagine a social app backed by 5G with IoT applications, imagine your phone remotely communicating with your car or using your phone to drive your car, that's what we're talking about.
With such applications, it won't be long before Facebook et al joins their big brother, yahoo messenger in oblivion.
Huawei will still be the long term winner in this.

You amazed me with the Africa you mentioned. This are the most hard core consumers you have in the world. Forget the opinion they patronize Huawei phones much, in reality, its just affordable. Just let Rihanna flaunt an iPhone 10(example) and you will see 10,000 units sold in Nigeria alone next day.

You want to get Africa away from Google, Facebook and Instagram? You want to take them out of trend? The China mentality is stuck in our heads. We believe you inferior using a Chinese product.

Is not a same Africa where they worship Benz, BMW, Audi and Volkswagen above others and believe you just stepping up with a Toyota? Am giving you market and consumer trends.

Forget this hype. Reality will play very soon. 5 years I give that OS.

Till then, Toyota holds the market. Which I know it would take them great steps to fall if they finally get to come into electric.

Bros you and I know nothing, did you know before that Huawei has been working on an os before, they didn't bring up the news, if they could keep that from public , I bliv they know what they are doing. We know very few from the outside. Symbian has been for long, before ios,rim, and Android took over. I know nothing from the inside of the company, so do you except if you are one of the best software engineer who has been working on their secret project.

All is going to the consumer.

Like I mentioned, Brand, compatibility, trend, flexibility. This is what will get target consumers. Is Huawei going to push this forcefully through the air?

You will see a little of the future when Apple just launches its new Iphone. The sales in Asia will amaze you. The target is where the focus is.

Like you forgetting this is a trade war where everything counts. It wont take US companies anything to knock that OS off market.

This is just a Nigerian trend, I did remeber how they supported Innoson and making waves on how to patronise the auto maker. In reality, its all noise. The consumers are good at making noise, They will follow trend, compatibility, brand and flexibility.

Let the OS survive 5years and we can continue our discussion.

This a market open to all where analyst can give you insight. You have to look at all the stakes in this play and share it amongst both party's. It's close to all being on US side.

OS have come to this stage and crashed. Believing over 30 decades of US holding this calls can be lost just like that is fiction.

The target is the consumers which will go by brand, trend, compatibility and flexibility. How many years will it take Huawei to counter this? A year?

Face reality squarely and don't be sentimental. It's like believing ING you can knock off a Toyota or Rolls Royce at the podium they stand today.

If you might permit me to make an example, do you think a Rolls Royce or Toyota can be knocked off the peak they stand as of date? It's close to a mirage.
