Politics › Re: 3,032 Pardoned Soldiers Reject Redeployment To N-east To Fight Boko Haram by blackborn7(m): 11:36am On Jan 08, 2016 |
It was gathered that, they cried, “We are not going! Give us re-instatement letters! You are sentencing us back to war,” among others. According to sources, the Commandant hurriedly left when the soldiers were becoming uncontrollable.
One of the soldiers who spoke to some newsmen on grounds that his name not be mentioned said: “Look at me; I have put in about 28 years of my life serving this country. I have seen action in Liberia; I have been to Rwanda, Sudan and even served overseas and we the Nigerian troops did very well and were decorated in some occasions.
“But, our experience in fighting to save our motherland is too sad a story for the outside world to know. We are not cowards. We held on for over four months facing Boko Haram. This country is indeed in a poo, how can you treat a soldier defending and risking his own life to serve a poo country that has no regards for humans. Buhari this is not what we voted for, erase those elements that re orchestrating havoc in the life of this people. they need morals to go to the war front, not with ill treatment and disdain. Danuski or Dansiki what ever your name is God will definitely punish you for the cries of this soldiers, their blood will cause judgment for you and your generations to come, you will die a miserable death. Anyone who counter what i have just said is a Cowoo!!! |
Romance › Re: Things You Shouldn't Be Ashamed Of Doing Or Asking When With The Opposite Sex by blackborn7(m): 5:01pm On Dec 16, 2015 |
Cutehector: So many times we try too hard to impress people, and the outcome is really that bad.. Though i stand to be corrected, buh in my opinion, i find some things very okay when one is in company with the opposite sex... Wana knw them?
1. Its very ok to share the bills when you are on a date with the opposite sex
Now guys and ladies have this mentality that its the guy dat is very much supposed to foot all the bills on a date... And then after all the nice time you two spend together, the guy feels its his right to sleep with the babe.. That mentality shouldnt be so.. I believe that two matured people who are on a date should share in footing the bills if need arises. its so not shameful.. It doesnt reduce ur ego..
2. Its not a crime to ask the opposite sex for assistance especially financial assistance.
Yeah, sometimes we get so broke in life, even to buy 100 naira airtym is a problem, and u have this bestie who is of the opposite sex, i really dont think its a crime to ask him/her for assistance.. Most guys be like, mehn i cant ask any girl for money, and as d big olodo you are, that same babe will suck u dry and even ur last card, u will give to her.. Buh to quit the ego when you are in need is a problem... Its not shameful tho.. Buh do not make the mistake of asking all and sundry for assistance, just ur very close friends..
3. Its not shameful to assist the opposite sex in doing chores.
Now this is meant for those who r very very close to each other... You have a girlfriend or a boyfriend and lets say you two live together, boyfrnd is sick or girlfriend is sick and you as the partner is very much hale and hearty, its so not shameful to assist him or her in washing their clothes, especially his/her undies.. Yeeeah i know right..
4: its very very ok to for a guy and a girl to hold hands when walking in public...
Some people are so so timid or uptight in their character, even when with the opposite sex, they still feel that awkwardness.. There are quite a good number of PDAs that aren't shameful to practice in public like holding hands while walking, holding each other by the waist, etc.. To me these aint dat shameful.. Unless you are embarrassed about him or her in public.. Sometimes, people judge a lot, their mindset are so so myopic that they see these acts like immoral.. Please if you are of that category, quit the habit and mind your business.
5. Its so not shameful for a guy to assist his female friend or boss to carry their handbags should they feel incapacitated to do so at that moment
Now many guys find it difficult to help their female friend with her handbag. She may want to get something or maybe holding too many things with her hands, its so not shameful to tell her, hey leme help u with one of them, maybe your handbag.. It just wouldnt reduce our ego, would it?

AsherStorm: Hi everyone... Im Hazzan from Abeokuta Ogun state. Graduate of biochemistry and a muzik lover...
Owing to d fact that jobs aint forthcoming except for the few marketing jobs with ridiculous pay and neck-breaking targets, which I've got so far, I decided to check out some ideas on the business section here on Nairaland where I came across one lovely idea but I gave up long the line cos the business won't survive around here based on my survey...
some days ago, I got a call from a girl (never met her tho) who has been chatting with me and telling me she wants to be under my record label (name hidden) which already has 3 male upcoming artistes. her call made me so confused as I don't have a studio to project the label yet, no fund to promote even the artistes I have already, but fortunately her call woke me from my slumber.
I had a plan that after my service year, I was gonna work on my record label (name hidden), but since I finished service this February, I've never thought of that plan.
to cut the story short, I thought a lot about the call and challenge I got from the girl because she kept on asking me about the plans I told her I had before I could sign her to my record label.
I finally decided that I'm gonna start up my own studio to boost my record label and also use the recording studio as a business venture because there are a lot of would-be artistes and upcoming artistes around thus, this is business...
I have little knowledge of music production and I'm already learning more to brush up my production skills and also Im hoping to bring in a producer to work with me for a while.
I drew out my plan, end goal, proposed customers, mode of operation, business scope, pricing model, competitors, advertisement strategy, projected business volume and how to achieve it, cash flow...
My studio project is in 3 stages... 1. construction of studio house 2. interiors including studio furniture's and lightning 3. stocking of equipments into studio
To God be the glory, construction work started today on a piece of land in front of my mum's house ... I will keep the updates coming here as work proceeds there ....
pls kindly drop your advises and recommendations for me to follow cos I believe there are great minds here ... thanks
ALSO SEEKING A PARTNER OR INVESTOR IN THIS MUSIC BUSINESS COZ WITH THE LITTLE I'm WORKING WITH, THINGS SEEM REALLY SLOW... Interested investor should pls contact me
Cc FOD naijacutee puskin Let the world see this Let me first commend you for your insight, you re atleast more innovative and enterprising for having such mindset in establishing a musical studio. im a musical incline person and a system administrator in a microfinance firm. working and doing music has not been easy but determination and the drive will push you far since you know what you re going. Having a studio and getting ur business name registered is the first considering factor. master the act of playing piano, piano plays an important role in music production. i will advise you to start learning piano before you venture in with any music production software. originality has to be ur mantra becos alot of production engineers know nothing but mixtures of kpangolo sounds. i have some techie and sophisticated music production softwares which i can give, but the principal thing is learning keyboard first and be proficient at it, then the sky will be your limit. |

CrazyScientist: Nairaland is inarguably the biggest online forum in Nigeria and perhaps Africa, so it's no surprise that Nairalanders have had alot of achievements from this site as all Nairalanders see themselves as family , some have gotten jobs, others spouses, others got featured on top media houses, but for these guys they managed to get over a thousand downloads from Nairalanders. Some due to their dexterity in 'story-telling' , their 'break through' , their 'popularity' and good looks , but there is no doubt that these guys have talent which they just need to hone and develop. So here they are:
3. AndyBlaze : He is well known for his stories from out of this world, he goes with the trademark 'BITG ' (whatever that means ) . His rap song, Adam, received good reviews from Nairalanders.using fluid punchlines he talks about the'Genesis' of his music career, thus giving birth to the name,'Adam. He amassed over 1700 downloads and he is a proud ambassador of Nairaland. He is set to release another freestyle single called 'Go Hard'. his song is definitely worth downloading. AndyBlaze-Adam: www.friendsmade.net/2014/09/music-andy-blaze-iamandyblaze-adam.html?m=1
2. Kylez : Perhaps the youngest of them all, he showed age is just a number by thrilling us with a freestyle pop, SPENDOE, his song received good reviews also, known for his musical dexterity and nice voice, he amassed over 5100 downloads. He is currently signed to Mizzle Entertainment. He has told Nairalanders to keep their fingers crossed as he released behind the scene photos of his music video for SPENDOE. Have a feel of a song you won't regret downloading. Kylez- SPENDOE: http://www.datafilehost.com/d/deeecc2e
1. Airforce1 : In first place is the man with the everlasting album . He kept telling Nairalanders to expect his album and we finally got a feel of him with his newly released single, 'SUCH A DIVA' , a highlife pop which brings to mind the likes of Flavour and KCee , he definitely has the talent to contend with them. He goes by the stage name 'CHUKA' . His song received good reviews and he has amassed over 8500 downloads and counting. Here is a feel of the hot new song, SUCH A DIVA! Chuka-Such A Diva: http://www.datafilehost.com/d/86488c0d

butanep: Geology/ Geophysic is a hot cake now in Nigeria especially in the petroleum sector. The most important thing about the course(s) is its diversification. With the increasing demand of oil and the exploration of new oil wells, search of underground water in complex terrain, building of dams and bridges, just to mention a few, geology/ geophysics will still remain relevant even till the next century.
Graduate with a good result in the field will always smile to the bank when employed in any of the oil sector or construction firm or hydrological ministries/firms.
They are only few universities in Nigeria that can boast of good geology department with sound theoretical, practical and field knowledge.
Here are list of universities that give the best in geology and can also boast of sound and competent geologist both home and abroad.
1 Obafemi Awolowo University ( OAU)
2 University OF Ibadan
3 University OF Jos (UNIJOS)
4 University OF Benin ( UNIBEN)
5 University Of Nigeria Nsuka
6 University Of Maidiguri ( UNIMAD)
7 Federal University Of Technology Akure (FUTA)
8 Federal University Of Technology Owerri (FUTO)
9 Federal University Of Technology Mina.
10 University Of Portharcort ( UNIPORT)
11 University Of Ilorin ( UNIlORIN)
12 Delta State University Abraka
13 University Of Calabar. (UNICAL)
14 Federal University Of petroleum Resources (FUPRE )
15 Ajayi Crowther university Oyo.

Hello All,
It has been a very great move to all APC fans by supporting Buhari for president. im not an APC fan thought but im one of those seeking and eager for change. I appreciate the number of likes we are getting here on nairaland. imagine that feeling you get when people get 101 likes over jonathan and 567 likes on buhari. is not about liking but going out there and vote so lets make it happen by going en masse to our polling unit to vote for change.
Jonathanian rule must stop and things must change..we can continue to suffer (because a body continue to be at rest unless there is a uniform motion applied. lets apply a uniform motion because a body cannot continue to be at rest).
I collected my PVC just to vote for a man who is selfless, fearless and strategic in his approach as my coming president. not a president who lacks the leadership skills in governance and share dollars bills to criminals.
for this cause, lets vote for change because POWER has CHANGEd hands.
Vote Change Vote Sai Buhari. |

These guys are another scam website that claim to send your resume to "consultants" in Dubai but they didn't do anything for me other than take my money. Even though they have a money back guarantee, they actually never send your money back. I complained to them for over 2 years but instead of owning up and saying they were simply never going to pay me my money they instead kept saying that they were still looking for a job for me. If it takes over 2 years for their service to work I think their candidates would die from poverty. Jobs/Vacancies › Letter Of Hope To The UNEMPLOYED!! by blackborn7(op): 11:20am On Nov 07, 2013 |
Hello All,
I will like how to know how and what your present state is, Is life treating you fine? Are you tired of being alone? Have you totally give up on your search for a better job? Are you planning of doing something negative or harmful to yourself? I ask this question because when i was jobless, i had negative thought running in my mind, In the morning, does neighbors murmur at you, and shook their their head, their mind telling them how lazy you are. they might have the feeling that others are working, while you are at home doing nothing, are you also tired of your conscience telling you that mom and dad have been feeding you but still, you ought to be doing for them rather than them feeding you. Are you mocked by your girl friend telling you that nothing good will come out of you. Are you shameful to the fact you see, you friends moving forward and you see your self retrogressing instead of progressing.Do you feel sympathy for been a failure over the years?
I asked this question because i once feel the torture of unhappiness, the awful pain of loneliness. But i have this confidence that once your time is set, the Devil does not have an option but to say Yes to your set time. I have been jobless for 3 years, i did series of stupid, low imcome job to keep me going, I remember last year, as a certified software professional from an indian institution,I was given N7,000 as a salary, i took the job because of idleness, an idle mind is the devils workshop, early this year i got another job, they decided to pay me N15,000. and this august, i was called again for an interview, which i did excellently well. And now, my salary is running at 6point.
Any time i'm in the office, when i see people searching for a job, i feel pain inside, i feel ur UNSPEAKABLE torture. Dont stop searching!! Keep moving forward. We are know our societal challenges. We dont have an enabling enviroment. Cos if we do! Every body will get to work, I know Nigerians are not LAZY.. REMEMBER THIS, IS NEVER YOU FAULT FOR NOT GETTING YOUR DESIRED JOB..DONT BLAME YOURSELF.
Leave what is distracting you from gaining foresight, abandon anything that makes you unhappy, if is your girl friend leave her and move on. And in matter of years to come, She will see the new you.. Read books, Your Bible, Motivational Book, Watch movies to keep the mind busy if there is light to watch movies, Go places, See your friends and share the laughter. Don't drink much. Always treat people right, Pay your tithe, Avoid trouble and don't forget to pray..
As the year is running out, come up with a new plan, a new resolution. drops some bad habit. Nigeria challenges is small for you to panic, Get a job, even if is free, you learn from it. Don't stay idle!! Is a killer disease.
Wish you the best in everything and anything!! The Lord God will strengthen your spirit. Job 22: 29 says: when men are cast down and you shall say their is a lifting up..

SO CHEER up!! |
